I am asking for opinions, please.

WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT

JYYGxOkUBRM

I watched this video, and frankly, I don't think this is true. It's more than appalling, and for it to be on YouTube and allowed, that's even worse.

However, 144p video in 2014! Not easily view able and hard to distinguish features, makes it, in my opinion, even less credible.

Opinions, please?

Thanks in advance...

Was my thought exactly.

However, after viewing it twice, I thought, and came to the conclusion that this video is highly suspicious in terms of it being real.

I mean, who still has a cam that does 144p. Everyone has cams that do at least 240p , so why is this in 144p?

Ok, appalling indeed. The low quality vid is due to use of a cheap phone camera.

There are even more horrible videos out there like e.g. a beheading of an allegedly
unfaithful woman. However since the victims seem to hardly resist at all and the
relative quiet ambiance I think it may be fake.

In this video it especially looks like they are using a mannequin (I hope so!)
These videos must en masse be flagged as inappropriate IMSO.

But since it apparently is normal to have kids front-row while carving up
a giraffe it may be the new norm ... who knows

Strange video to be honest, especially the lack of "background sounds, agitated voices, fanatical religious sounding gibberish and what else have we", instructional perhaps, horrendous act to watch but for some reason they seemed to go about it in a gentle sort of way, I heard many stories about German and Russian women in WW2 who committed suicide or assisted in the suicide of other women while facing rape, murder, torture in no particular order by invading forces, this could actually be a tutorial for men on how to kill their wives in the face of mortal danger, better by hubbie then by a stranger who also robs the men and women of their honor. Yechh.

But if its from infowars and they call it an Al Qaida murder it is actually a USA concocted genocidal racist/sexist murder since weird Al Qaidavitch got trained by the CIA ( Alex his shtick), Alex Jones spreads very confusing news, no idea what his intentions on this particular one are, ah wait I do know "Christians are awesome', has he started a ruckus already on how disgraceful it is to kill American terror suspects on foreign soil with drone strikes but how cool it is to kill non whites ( read non Americans ) with the same drones in far away countries?

We are the Barf, you will be Irritated:confused:

Unfortunately I have to say, there are thousands of videos on youtube showing female naked bodies or should I say female genitalia? It's sickening to me how this is allowed everywhere under the disguise of education or something else. Some days I think humanity is becoming extremely sick with this obsession about sex but I don't see male bodies nearly as much, I haven't been looking but honestly I have seen none.... I wonder what average family guys think about this inequality....

Sadly I think this is a real video, although it is impossible to know for certain. I form this view because the arm and finger movements of the victim are entirely consistent with someone being strangled. I do hope I am wrong, but that is not really relevant, because this type of thing frequently occurs where ever the takfiri Islamists have a hold.

A couple of other, lesser points:

- There are plenty of low grade videos coming out of Syria
- Al Qaeda / Islamist executions can be incongruously casual
- There is little need to make propaganda videos when the rebels make so many themselves
- I would not expect a fake video to be quite this subtle

Of course, but you have to go to porn site for that -- this is YouTube. And think of almost all TV including kids shows; TV killing is 100% acceptable as long as the assailant is made to feel enough pain or scorn - it is acceptable.

Well you do realize you're talking about people in Syria, not sure if you're aware of this but a good percentage of the world is not nearly as materialistic as people in the western nations. It makes perfect sense why people would record or rather still have a lower resolution camera. You're in the middle of a conflict zone that is highly volatile and doesn't make for a prosperous society. So I wouldn't use their lack of fancy or new or updated technology as a measure of its validity. Given what some of the Syrian opposition groups have been caught doing, they seem to be capable of some seriously heinous and gruesome atrocities.

ALEPPO, Syria, Dec. 16 (UPI) -- Both sides accused each other of slaughter as an opposition group said Syrian troops bombed Aleppo and the government said Islamic rebels executed civilians.

Syrian military officials said more than 80 civilians in Adra were executed by Islamic rebels and other civilians were kidnapped for use as human shields, RT reported Monday.
....
"The situation was terrible -- with killing, atrocities, and fear as the background. Unidentified armed men came into town, but it was obvious that they were Jabhat al-Nusra militants," Muhammad Al-Said told the Russian news channel. "The worst crime they committed was that they toasted people in ovens used to bake bread when those people came to buy it. They kidnapped and beat up many."

Face-to-face with Abu Sakkar, Syria's 'heart-eating cannibal'
By Paul Wood BBC News, Syria
It sounded like the most far-fetched propaganda claim - a Syrian rebel commander who cut out the heart of a fallen enemy soldier, and ate it before a cheering crowd of his men.
The story turned out to be true in its most important aspect - a ritual demonstration of cannibalism - though when I met the commander, Abu Sakkar, in Syria last week, he seemed hazy on the details.

BEIRUT -- BEIRUT (AP) — Jihadi-led rebel fighters in Syria killed at least 190 civilians and abducted more than 200 during an offensive against pro-regime villages, committing a war crime, an international human rights group said Friday.
The Aug. 4 attacks on unarmed civilians in more than a dozen villages in the coastal province of Latakia were systematic and could even amount to a crime against humanity, Human Rights Watch said in a 105-page report. The findings are based on a visit a month later to the area, with permission from the Syrian regime.
The report quoted witnesses as saying rebels went house to house, killing entire families or killing the men and taking women and children hostage.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/10/11/syrian-rebels-war-crimes-report_n_4083204.html

"They were shooting at us from two different directions. They had machine guns and were using snipers. My older brother came down and hid with us as well. We hid, but my dad stayed in the house. He was killed in his bed. My aunt, she is an 80-year-old blind woman, was also killed in her room."
...
"Eight survivors and witnesses described how opposition forces executed residents and opened fire on civilians, sometimes killing or attempting to kill entire families who were either in their homes unarmed or fleeing from the attack, and at other times killing adult male family members, and holding the female relatives and children hostage," the report said.
The report says groups fighting against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad killed 190 civilians in that offensive, including 57 women, and at least 18 children and 14 elderly men. At least 67 of those killed were executed or unlawfully killed.

BEIRUT, Lebanon — The top United Nations human rights official warned opposition fighters in Syria on Monday that they would not be immune from prosecution for atrocities, as videos from the Syrian city of Aleppo appeared to show a mass execution by rebel fighters of bound and blindfolded Syrian government soldiers.
One of the videos, first publicized on Monday on the Brown Moses blog, which curates and analyzes video evidence from Syria, showed at least 20 corpses lying in a crooked row on a bloodstained street curb. The victims wore fatigues but no shoes. Several appeared to have been shot in the head.
In that video and another that captured the same scene, different rebel groups appear to take responsibility for the killings. It was impossible to immediately confirm the authenticity of the videos, or to determine exactly when and where they were recorded. If confirmed, the executions were likely to add to growing concerns about the conduct of the militias fighting to topple the Syrian president, Bashar al-Assad, and particularly their treatment of prisoners.
In a brutal episode in late July, a group of rebel fighters was seen in a video executing several captives — members of an Aleppo family accused of being enforcers for the government — with a spray of gunfire. In recent days, other videos have captured summary executions by the rebels.

If you can handle it, here’s a video from July showing the al Qaeda-affiliated Jabhat al-Nusra, also known as the Front for the Protection of the Syrian People or Nusrah Front, beheading Christians.
According to local sources, a monastery where Franciscan Friar Francois Murad was staying was attacked by militants linked to the jihadi group Jabhat al-Nusra. The report was confirmed by the Vatican.
Witness how these men are murdered in cold-blood in front of men and children. This is not a human rights atrocity? A strike on Syria risks destabilizing the Bashar al-Assad regime but could open up a political vacuum that could be filled with the likes of jihadists like the Nusrah Front and al Qaeda.
And this promotes U.S. national security and regional security interests, how? Just like the atrocities being committed against Christians in Egypt by the Muslim Brotherhood, the Obama administration is unusually silent. Yet when Obama draws a “red line” on chemical weapons, and the al-Assad regime allegedly crosses it, we have to act, and act now?

More like -- it is forced down our throat to the point we - as a society - accept it or become numb to it. Even most who say they don't except it, don't deny it either. For example, I believe it is detrimental to de-value life from that conscious standpoint, (in the big picture, physical death isn't that scary), yet I have never taken actions against it. So you decide. Have I accepted by default? Have we all?

Good question. :)

Wow. I am familiar with SyrianGirl and her youtube channel (if indeed this is the same SyrianGirl who frequently contributes on InfoWars). As far as I know SyrianGirl is a credible source.

That doesn't mean the video still isn't a fake, but if she is uploading it I'm sure she probably believes it to be genuine.
