This is technically old material, can you image what else they have discovered?

I have read that current digital imaging satalites have discovered 17 more pyramids, still burried beneath the sand.

Side looking imaging radar is great for this kind of archeology. That is, in the very dry conditions of the middle east there is excellent ground penetration of say L-band microwaves. What is most of the imagery from, radar or visible/IR? Hmm, OK I just checked, seems early cold war and it is all visible. Wow, great stuff!
