Reminds me of the "phone-in-Palm" they showed at the remake of the movie "total recall".

Not to get religious or anything, but to me it reeks of a precursor to the Mark of the Beast in the Biblical Apocalypse. Something about the mark being on their forehead or on their right hand, and no one would be able to buy or sell if they didn't bear the mark.

Also, that perfectly dovetails with what David Icke said about how everything in society would be digitized, to such an extent that the powers that be can simply wipe someone's entire existence - birth certificates, employment, residence, bank accounts, driver's license, et al - with the click of a mouse, so to speak.

‘When it comes to the future of computing, there is one major known and a principal unknown.

The known, with almost guaranteed certainty, is that the next era of computing will be wearables.
The unknown, with commensurate guaranteed uncertainty, is what these wearables will be and
where on your body they will live.

Apple and Samsung, for example, are betting on the wrist; Google, the face. A slew of tech companies
believe clothing will simply become electronic. Yet there’s a whole new segment of start-ups that believe
all of the above are destined for failure and that we humans will become the actual computers, or at least
the place where the technology will reside.’

‘Given the frenzy of interest following the announcement of the Apple Watch,
you might think wearables will be the next really important shift in technology.

Not so.

Wearables will have their moment in the sun, but they’re simply a transition
technology. Technology will move from existing outside our bodies to residing
inside us. That’s the next big frontier.

Here are nine signs that implantable tech is here now, growing rapidly, and that
it will be part of your life (and your body) in the near future.’
