Scientists at the Johns Hopkins Medical School and the University of Nebraska have discovered an algae virus that makes us more stupid by infecting our brains.

The researchers were conducting a completely unrelated study into throat microbes when they realised that DNA in the throats of healthy people matched the DNA of a chlorovirus virus known as ATCV-1.

ATCV-1 is a virus that infects the green algae found in freshwater lakes and ponds. It had previously been thought to be non-infectious to humans, but the scientists found that it actually affects cognitive functions in the brain by shortening attention span and causing a decrease in spatial awareness.

For the first time ever, the researchers proved that microorganisms have the ability to trigger delicate physiological changes to the human body, without launching a full-blown attack on the human immune system.

However, the scientists do not yet know how ATCV-1 infects a human host and it's not as simple as just going swimming in a lake or pond, so there's no need to stop doing that yet.

Both humans and mice susceptible to virus

The study, entitled "Chlorovirus ATCV-1 is part of the human oropharyngeal virome and is associated with changes in cognitive functions in humans and mice" is published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) journal.

The researchers analysed the throats of 92 healthy study participants and discovered the presence of ATCV-1 in 44% of them.

When they conducted tests designed to measure the brain's accuracy and speed in visual processing, as well as tests measuring attention span, the participants that tested positive for ATCV-1 achieved an average of 7-9 points lower on the tests than the participants who did not have the virus in their throats.

Ouch.

I guess there's your support for the war parties, the support for the insanities of the world.

Basically, the loss of primary points of cognition, the loss of ability to move through the logic of what is going on in the world.

Add this to the GMO toxins, the chemical toxins, the noxious toxins, the bad diet, the dead lifeless foods with no nutrients, fluoride, vaccines.. then the outright lies and disinformation as a forced backdrop..... and so on....

This goes a long way to explaining the overall weakness in the parts of the public that are dragging humanity sideways, via their desires and willingness to follow insane brutish solutions. Solutions they 'see', due to their incapacity to understand real problems.

David Wolfe (among others) is known for his insistence on a prevalence of microscopic parasites in our bodies that is overwhelmingly above and beyond what is recognized by society. Such parasites are said to be able to effect one's ability to think, moods, preferences, inclinations, etc. This new information would seem to agree with and lend credence to his assertions. Thank you Carmody.

I think that people are still digesting this data.

to try and understand if it is bunkum, or... for real.

No one likes to think that 'the water' has reduced their intelligence and vitality.

If it is true and if it happened in early childhood throughout development, that could really throw an intellect off, and create some very strong neural paths that would be difficult to overcome, possibly, even after any such virus was removed. Difficult due to entrenched paths and entrenched behavioral situations/environment.

Nevertheless, it will have to be dealt with. The longer it takes to get to the point of dealing with it, the longer it skews humanity.

7 to 9 IQ points, even as a retroactive fix and a slow clearing in 44% of the population in a given locale, that has the power to drastically change the socio-cultural and political landscape. Moreso in the given theological and logical landscape.

Think if it this way: fixing it, for an individual, would be no different than discovering a 'smart pill' and consuming it..and finding that it really works. Things would change, for that individual.

One way to, possibly..quickly do a self test, MAY be via MMS and it's norm of oral consumption. MMS taken in that manner has a strong record of working on similarly located viral infections. Low doses in regularity, all while removing the possibility of re-contamination, may show some effect.

This, of course, if one is not willing to wait for big pharma to discover this and design another vaccine.... or a counter-material to add to the water.

"Add this to the GMO toxins, the chemical toxins, the noxious toxins, the bad diet, the dead lifeless foods with no nutrients, fluoride, vaccines.. "

Maybe it already is added to those, helping to achieve those effects. Then again, maybe this is bogus, and they're releasing this "study" as plausible deniability for all those things. I'd give it 50-50. Otherwise, after years and years and years of generation upon generation drinking water from such sources, at this point we'd all be blithering idiots -- like those who "keep up with Kardashians."

I am sure "they" will or have helped in the creation of this subtle monster - spread their corruption around the world - we know how they like to share.

I was reading about the "Fat virus" found in many of obese humans- we must take responsibility for every thing that happens to us- like attracts like - and every disease has a cure. Take charge of our lives and say no to their sh**

I find this discovery somewhat making sense with AIs trying to change us so that we would do their leg and arm work and then destroy us re: the new thread of GoodET and his whistle blowing on AI amongst other things.

The AI would use viruses to change our DNA up to the time where we become transhumans and then be destroyed. Using viruses to control us and have us just intelligent enough to build their machines but far from enough to develop into higher beings.

It also explains that some human races would use strong electrical shocks to get rid of AI contamination. This would kill the viruses. As it is with Dr Hula Clark's machine for example. I wish we would have the formulae not to be recontaminated.
I would say the same for cabal's interventions.

Very interesting Carmody, thanks

A bit of a misnomer to call it a stupidity virus, as this slighty defeats the intensity and truth of what is going on.

This is shaping up to be very very real. As important as finding and eliminating fluoride. More important, actually, as fluoride does not affect 44% of the public.

Again, MMS might clear this up very fast. Why wait for 'science' and 'medicine' to solve the issue, when it can be dealt with right now?

This thread does not have a lot of reads/views .....the thought being, that a state of shock appears to be in play, here.

Well, when one thinks of it as an AI, then, maybe, it would start to make sense... ?

People usually think nano/microchips when presented with the "AI" concept... no connection with a virus, a bacteria, a fungus or an algae... yet, THEY are AIs!

Always the same reproduction/duplication cycle, the same repeated ways of host invasion... totally PROGRAMMED, in other words!

What would you do for children. And how no to get reinfected?

Second , you cannot imagine how often i have given the recipe to correct dysphasia in parts, and ADD. Parents do not want to do it.

An algal virus discovered not even 10 years ago has been found now to infect humans and decrease IQ by as much as 7-9 points. Could this be bioweapon, possibly one which escaped when the 'hot labs' were destroyed by Hurricane Katrina?

Hello shadowstalker,

I merged you new thread with this pre-existing one started by Carmody.

Apologies if this created any inconveniences.

Forget the AVCT1 when talking about the dumbing down with water. Fluoride is the key culprit as countless studies show it lowers the IQ substantially

and yes there are those who call this bunk but who you gonna believe when it comes to your families safety. I tend to lean toward a consensus with caution

Great, another thing I needed to hear. :p

Btw, I only drink distilled water now, and I'm on a careful, restrictive vegan diet.
