A woman was shopping with four kids, when her two-year-old son reached into her purse and accidentally discharged the weapon, according deputies. Authorities said the toddler was seated in the shopping cart when the gun was discharged. The woman and children were in the back of the store near the electronics area when the deadly shooting happened.

Deputies said the woman was in town for holidays and is not from the area. Authorities said the victim did have a concealed weapons permit.

I do not know if this forum's members is tried to fire a gun, but I did, it is very hard to pull the trigger, in it's first shot almost 2 pounds of pulling force is needed if there is no bullet on barrel.

Of course, it happened in a Walmart. That alone makes the story suspect. It happened in Idaho, a concealed weapon-friendly State, that also happens to recognize out-of-State conceal permits, as well. Really suspect. The toddler's mom was from "out of State". Really, really suspect. And the victim had a concealed weapon, as well? (They'll say, "A lot of good that did her!") As far as the handgun, it would depend on the type, coupled with a really strong AND focused toddler. Regardless, even a moron of a mother like that who would leave her child alone in a cart in a fricking Walmart would not leave her purse in the cart. All women know better than to do that, that being the dead (no pun...) giveaway! IMHO, this was a mini-false flag that was poorly planned by a man.
