Greetings All,

I just read this article:
https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/blog/2015/06/google-chrome-listening-in-to-your-room-shows-the-importance-of-privacy-defense-in-depth/

The headline is:
Yesterday, news broke that Google has been stealth downloading audio listeners onto every computer that runs Chrome, and transmits audio data back to Google. Effectively, this means that Google had taken itself the right to listen to every conversation in every room that runs Chrome somewhere, without any kind of consent from the people eavesdropped on. In official statements, Google shrugged off he practice with what amounts to “we can do that”.

For more about this scandal Google search "Google Chrome eavesdropping".
I believe Safari and Internet Explorer are not much better in privacy respect.

Personally I am not surprised.
Since Google Chrome is not really open source software.

Hope you (the person reading this) care for your privacy. British residents and USA residents are not allowed to care for their privacy. The French people are still waiting for their supreme court ruling.

Joy and happiness

It might also be useful data towards voice recognition in environments of variable noise levels.
