In this discussion, geologist Dr. Robert Schoch explores his analytical findings after
examining the world-famous Egyptian Sphinx. Traditional Egyptologists considered
the Sphinx to have been constructed around 2500BC, and that it was carved from
scratch into the form we see today.

Schoch found that the weathering on the body of the Sphinx did not match up with
that date, and the current head was carved much later on than the body. By
looking at the statue, you can easily see that the head is far too small for the body
and is out of proportion, which Schoch confirmed scientifically. Amazingly, he also
found that the body has suffered weathering from rain, weather that did also not
coincide with the date of 2500BC. That would’ve been at least 6000BC, or perhaps
12,000BC!

Schoch’s work has proved to be paradigm shattering, much like Robert Bauval’s
work showing the alignment of the Pyramids with the Belt of Orion, and, Graham
Hancock’s work with other ancient structures around the world.

The work on the Sphinx proved to be an explosive revelation, questioning the very
origins of our civilisation…

Linda Moulton Howe delved into a fascinating human/alien hybridization

Linda also spoke about The mysterious excavation at Gobekli Tepe, in
southeast Turkey, has revealed a temple complex built some 7,000
years before Stonehenge and the Great Pyramid. Collins suggested
that certain large standing stones in the complex are linked by one
specific circular wall that aims at the brightest star Deneb in the
Cygnus Constellation, which sits at the opening of the Dark Rift in
the Milky Way Galaxy. This has provoked him to speculate that the
function of the temple complex has to do with the recycling or
transferring of souls. One of the startling discoveries at the site is a
carving of a vulture-like bird with a wing outstretched toward a circle.
Later used in Egypt, the symbol of the vulture and circle related to
stripping flesh from the bones of the dead and the recycling of souls
from Earth to the afterlife and back again.

There have been several who have said the same regarding The Pyramids and the Spinx some time back
In particular the the water erosion aspect--Dr Schoch may well have been the first to document this though.

Nassim Haramein has several videos on u tube regarding this, not of great quality though.
He does the maths as well --the rate of laying/placing the stones could not have been done using modern methods even now.
In fact it could not be done with the accuracy achieved by the builders.

I thought in the back of my mind I'd read somewhere it was thought up earlier in

According to at least one translation of the Sumerian tablets, One of the earliest structures built by the Anunnaki when they arrived on earth was a landing pad for their craft. This is long before the deluge, it was after the deluge that the pyramids were built.

My query-post and thinking relates to some of the info as outlined here by Robert Schoch I ask that the blame might not be due to our beloved Sun but a fast moving foreign body that swept through around 10.7-9.7 k BC
I know that kind of postulate is nothing new to members here in Avalon

He says that at 10.9 thousand BC is a very cold spell (called a mini Ice-Age at the end of the last Ice-Age, then at around 9.7 thousand BC, there is a very, very sudden heating up over a small period that could have been over just a few weeks!

He sees evidence that some sort of impact happen at around 10.9 k BC, maybe a comet, that caused the cooling event

So evidence shows comet impacts at around 10.7 k BC then a very, very sudden heating of our planet at around 9.7 k BC, the heating being attributed to our Sun having a Mass-Coronal-Outburst.
That all fits!

As I say a great man putting together great works outside the established view point!

That all fits but! just as an option:

Going slightly deeper outside the established could we say that a body from outside our solar system moved in to our system or at-least very near.

A body first of all bringing, pushing in on us comets causing the Ice-Age, and the mini-Ice-age followed by very sudden heating of our planet. The sudden heating being caused by said incoming external object/s, an object that might have been a Small-Brown-Star maybe? (or something like, causing the effects of very fast heating as caused by a star) and so not-our-actual-star the Sun having a Mass-Coronal-Ejection causing the sudden heating up, but a foreign body!

he could well be trying to say that but has to keep within the bounds of the heating as done by our Sun.

Well after I've watched the video by loyed pye "everything you know is wrong", I don't see why not... As he puts it: nibiru was here and that's where we came from. Nibiru is a dwarf star and if that's a possibility they I don't see any reason to doubt it...

The archaeological site of Gobekli Tepe in Southeastern Turkey is evidence of an advanced civilization that existed before the end of the last ice age which ended suddenly in 9,700 BC due to cataclysmic solar events that rained havoc on the earth.

The beautifully carved stone pillars unearthed at Gobekli Tepe were oriented toward the Pleiades, Taurus, and the constellation Orion.
