This website is trying to persuade you to pay them $30 per year to receive news (or $5 per month)

In this internet age, where mainstream and alternative news outlets are falling over themselves
to get your attention and give you news for free, do you really need to pay for news ?

The free account allows you to receive news from *only* one of 72 news topics.
That's likely to be a very narrow selection of news stories.

Also, you're allowing a third party to filter your news, selecting which items you
receive and do not receive, and potentially adjusting the text of news items to
put an 'appropriate' spin in it.
