View Full Version : Keanu Reeves has a powerful message

“I cannot be part of a world where men dress their wives as prostitutes by showing everything that should be cherished. Where there is no concept of honor and dignity, and one can only rely on those when they say “I promise” .
Where women do not want children, and men don’t want a family.
Where the suckers believe themselves to be successful behind the wheel of their fathers` cars, and a father who has a little bit of power is trying to prove to you that you’re a nobody.
Where people falsely declare that they believe in God with a shot of alcohol in their hand, and the lack of any understanding of their religion.
Where the concept of jealousy is considered shameful, and modesty is a disadvantage.
Where people forgot about love, but simply looking for the best partner.
Where people repair every rustle of their car, not sparing any money nor time, and themselves , they look so poor that only an expensive car can hide it.
Where the boys waste their parents money in nightclubs, aping under the primitive sounds, and girls fall in love with them for this.
Where men and women are no longer ago identifiable and where all this together is called freedom of choice, but for those who choose a different path-get branded as retarded despots.
I choose my path, but it’s a pity that I did not find similar understanding in the people among whom I wished to find it most of all … “

Women are debasing themselves in desperation to capture the attention of porn-addicted young men. It is sad. Not a Holy Roller statement, I am not against porn, but the addiction to porn denies life.

Sounds to me he has woke up from that deep sleep that this world can put you in, be happy he's gotten to see what this world deems
important and to realize it's upside down or backwards or both,, quote: "those who are able to see beyond the shadows and lies
of there culture will never be understood, let alone believed, by the masses."[plato] if being born again got him there than
what's wrong with that vehicle ? What ever it takes , or in the word of john, what ever gets you thru the night. From where he's
been, [hollywood] he broke thru some strong hypnotism and conditioning to even see it. If he is a right prig, it's a start ,
he will be shown the rest as he grows. Grace is hard to come by. If it's a moan, we need to hear it more.

HERE IS ANOTHER MESSAGE FROM DEC 15 2015
Keanu Reeves has played some funny and profound characters in his life, but his real life character might be the most interesting of the bunch. We see celebrities as often having perfect lives, but Keanu has been dealt some tough hands. It's left him a rather thoughtful man.
Here's his recent blurb:
"You see these people behind me? They are rushing to work and not paying attention to anything. Sometimes we get so caught up in our daily lives that we forget to take the time out to enjoy the beauty in life. It's like we're zombies. Look up and take your head phones out. Say Hi to someone you see and maybe give a hug to someone who looks like they're hurting. Help out someone. You have to live every day like it's your last. What people don't know about me is that I had depression a couple of years back. I never told anyone about it. I had to fight my way out of depression. The person who was holding me back from my happiness was ME. Every day is precious so let's treat it like that. Tomorrow isn't guaranteed, so live today! I hope you share this post to spread love this holiday."
Note: This story first appeared on an unofficial fan page devoted to Keanu and we're not totally clear on whether or not he wrote it.
The message is raw and genuine. He's not begging for attention or being inflammatory to get clicks. He just wanted to spread a good message. Something as simple as hello can profoundly impact a stranger.

I’d label it a hoax or propaganda for several reasons:
1) When I search this quote it is attached to strange sites (https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=I+choose+my+path,+but+it%E2%80%99s+a+pity+that+I+did+not+find+similar+understanding+in+the+people+ among+whom+I+wished+to+find+it+most+of+all+%E2%80%A6&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8).
2) The only video uploaded on Sept., 2015, is one where they’ve used Keanu Reeves’ interview from Feb., 2015. Clips are inserted. His conversation is turned off and a person reads what Keanu Reeves supposedly said. Both videos added below.
3) And the person that uploaded the video, his/her YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLJWDC-V5MZ0nYXHsCbnRsw) has few but 'strange videos'.

Agreed, Paula.
When I read the "quote", it immediately sounded like someone completely different from Keanu Reeves. Sometimes, quotes get butchered when translating, and then, in translating it back, it can get even worse. If this had anything at all to do with anything Keanu Reeves ever actually said, I'd say it would have to have been translated, embellished, paraphrased, re-translated and re-embellished and re-paraphrased. (like the game "telephone", on steroids) To me, it has no "Keanu Reeves vibe" at all.
And, we need to remember the words of Abraham Lincoln, who, on April 15, 1865, said, "Not everything you read on the Internet is true."

From the link you provided there was a link to supposedly his Facebook page.
IMO: the link to the Facebook page doesn’t fit how Keanu Reeves would sign up on Facebook, i.e. “keanu.reeves.the.actor”. Also, at the end of the link it says “theater”. One last point, his ego does not seem to run him like other actors. More than likely a fan set up the site.

He's not he kind of guy to have made those sort of statements, in a way they could be taken out of context.
For example, the matrix crew. A story about the film.
The crew who worked on the film. He felt they deserved more of a cut of the profits for the making of the film, as it was wildly successful. His agent had fought for and achieved a terrific pay scale and profit rights for him. He did incredibly well, financially, from that film series.
The size of the film meant it probably had close to 50-60-70 people on the crew. Set builders, grips, gofers, recording engineers, costumers, and so on.
He quietly, with no fanfare or notice, or anything like that, bought each of them a band new Harley Davidson motorcycle. No news, no using it for publicity, nothing like that.
Just...bought them each a big Harley. A gift, probably so he could go around issues with contracts and unions.
He never even had a home, for years. He lived in hotels, like a monk with a cave or a spot on the side of the road. Simple, easy, clean, spartan. Let's just politely say that I understand such thinking and way of being -- completely.
I found the source point, relatively speaking. Partially out of context, for some of them, methinks.
This is definitely his kind of statement:
I am unfortunate to live in a small country that has frighteningly low values, and people, family will abandon you, call you crazy, humiliate you just because you try to steer away from life of drinking, partying in nightclubs, gambling, working like a slave.

Material trappings will always and have always been here, the one thing that changes are the trappings themselves.
A fisherman will change his/ her lure when it becomes ineffective.
One may perceive that it has gotten worse over the years when all that has really changed is the lure.

This is an important point I think.
I in no way reference any other post in this thread when I say it is quite common these days to see a messenger being attacked and the message marginalised. If you can demonise the messenger, and spurious claims will do fine, then people ignore what is said.
"Oh well he/she is just nuts aren't they." Too commonly done today I'm afraid.

Yeah, I hate hanging out with Liberals too. (anyone ever read the 10 planks of communism (http://laissez-fairerepublic.com/tenplanks.html)? I think that's the modern liberal bases of existence; of course the modern "conservative" basis is the polarized opposite).
I can't imagine what it's like to hang out in the circles he does, talk about fake people, fake ideals, fake politics... it would be hard.

This thread has really gotten under my skin. Been thinking about it all day.
I am incredibly surprised that no one here is shocked by the sexist undertones in this supposed message, let alone thinking that is imo, the polar opposite of awakening. Seems more like a closing of the mind rather than opening. This should probably be dismissed as dysinfo, almost laden with undertones that are quasi Radical Islam. Having known many young men from UAE (clients), the behavior condemned in this "quote" is very similar to that of young Arabic men, alone in the Western world. especially the parts about nightclubs, driving their "fathers'" cars, "dressing their women", "women not wanting children".
Another thing that concerns me about this thread are the many comments that are "anti-liberal", etc. That of course, is polarized thinking. The trap that TPTB want you in. One side or the other.
There are so many "interests" out there attempting to infiltrate the thoughts of free thinkers. They will be subtle and they will impersonate the symbols of awakening for the Alternative Media and its followers. People like Keanu Reeves. Whether Keanu is awake or not, I have no idea. One would think that by virtue of having been in the Matrix would have opened his eyes to the concepts. But I am quite sure of this - he did not say those words. Some dark hat with an agenda did.
We are a much kinder society than in eons past. We are evolving. We do not need the trappings of the "isms" to define our morals or ethics. All beings are equal and divine. Those that seek to separate us with labels are clinging to the sins of the past and embracing them as the right way. Maybe these reactions are generational in nature. You know,
"kids these days", "music these days"... all battle cries of old farts hanging on to what they understand. For me personally, I will willingly swallow the red pill and realize that although I may not like the way things are changing, that these changes are a necessary step toward improvement. Not an opportunity to oppress or to judge or to divide.

I also thought all the remarks about females was a bit much, but thought it might have been taken out of context. And in a way all these things are true, but a bit strange for a man of the Western world to say.

Be a Radical Muslim. Be a Christian Evangelical. Be a devout Catholic. Be. But under no circumstances, ever should you try to influence what I choose to be. When we all realize that each individual has the sovereign right to make their own choices, there will be healing on a Universal level. Stop trying to control others' actions and choices. Just be.

I doubt Mr Reeves gets to hang around very many normal people; that's all I was trying to say... there's certainly enough "abnormal" people in pockets there.
& yes the fascists (police/government) of that state are unbearable, I'd never live there by choice (though the weather is almost as nice as where I live now).

Interesting conversation.
In proper context all those statements in the OP could make sense, and address extreme ends of the spectrum, both ends.
I see it as a rant against hypocrisy.
So whether he said it, or not, I didn't find the statements offensive.
I don't think that one can be certain that an agenda is behind this, or that it is deliberate disinformation.

This makes me think of something that comes to mind often, one area where the East in general, and the "Muslims/ISIL/Terrorist attacks" have an advantage... they have a relatively "universal philosophical belief system... whereas, in the West... I think the next big experiment is can we in the West prevail without one?... which is what "we" over here in the West seem to be doing... statements like Keanu's are evidence of the result of this... someone who has lost their way, and are beginning to question the very frame of reference of their existence, and that of others...
I don't care what anyone says, this thing in the Middle East, one of the factors is the friction between muslim and christian... just as was foretold by the freemasons, and the attempt to implement a 3rd WW... The very Masons in power positions along with Vatican Jesuits that are pushing this agenda... as the ultimate raison d'etre... i.e. for geopolitical power and control... the money, the politics, the price of oil, the MIC banking billions... is all secondary to this...
And yet it's amazing how resilient the Middle East is because they have this near universal (to them) philosophical belief system... which galvanizes them against unbelievable torture and hardship (even though I personally consider it a clearly flawed interpretation... but which one isn't?... they all need "cleaning up" ... or our minds need re-adjustment... same thing..)
Point is... having ANY cosmological philosophical system is always going to better then none.... or compared to some superficial government propaganda campaign. In a sense Russia already proved this with their Experiment, and they are now bringing "Religion" back in (with checks and balances) China is trying to reign in the "Christian Religion" (along with Falun Gong...) because I think they know the Vatican influence on the one hand, and the they don't want free thinking independent spiritual beings on the other either... with so far unpredictable results...
In any event what is happening right now in the middle east (where this battle for ideologies is really being played out...) is right out of the book "Dune" (1965) Saddam was known to be a fan of Science Fiction... He actually tried to play out exactly what happened in the book... to some effect, but not anywhere close (since he didn't control ALL the oil fields in the Middle East... then it may very well have worked...) But the fact he tried, showed that he was clearly influenced by the book... (and also delusional to some extent to try and literalize it...) i.e. when he tried to destroy the "flow of oil" by blowing up all the oil wells... It's almost like someone created the basis for an experiment out of the book Dune... and Saddam essentially "ran the experiment" to see what the real results would be...
Why I also think the movie "John Carter of Mars" was blown off the runway before it could get a chance to take flight... when it had every potential to be a blockbuster movie for Disney... It may have crossed a line, when it was pointing to and would have inevitably built on... the modus operandi of how all this is done... from a very simple obvious (once pointed out...) premise...
i.e. a high level elite and powerful, yet hidden group with powerful connections to the elite at every level of every society... that operates in the background creating chaos (false flags, assassinations, "terrorist attacks" political graft, bribery and propaganda... at specific junctures... pushing their own philosophical interpretation of reality... which is very ancient and very philosophical in its own right... and looks surprisingly like what the Vatican has been doing for the last 1500 years since literally officially taking up the mantle of the Roman Empire and continuing the same agenda in principle... Not saying it is all good or all bad... but it certainly just IS! ...and I would say... ideologically at the least, it is definitely struggling right now... because it's greatest weakness is exposure to public scrutiny... to an increasingly growing mass of self educating people, who are sitting up and starting to take notice... This is a weakness, since a great deal of their power is based on "deception"... as the most efficient means to carry out its agenda... and will stop at nothing (exactly according to the Jesuit Oath) a philosophy that clearly embraces the idea that the end justifies any means... and these are some of the most educated agents on the planet... they are masters of military strategy (killing, death, terrorism) and masters of politics and Law (much of it is based on their own creation!...)

I don't know, maybe my brain hasn't found its niche either lol. I took that part as , the standard of beauty is so twisted that its become women with insanely perfect bodies and engineered perfect faces that they resemble porn stars rather than what most women really do look like, and because of this focus on what men supposedly want in a women, they are dressing them, by buying into that false idea of beauty. If that makes any sense. Lol

Interesting so many Avalon members personally know Keanu!
There's a new testament verse where Jesus says there'll come a time when women's bosoms would be considered blessed when they haven't nursed a child. Speaking of the perversion of a future society. This is what I was reminded of when I read some of it.

Interesting so many Avalon members personally know Keanu!
...
A while ago, one of our members contacted the Avalon staff to let us know that there were two individuals on Avalon whose writing style was so close that it had to be the same person. After investigating, Avalon staff found that the member was correct (and a "sock-puppet" account was identified and closed.)
I mention this to demonstrate that you do not need to know someone personally to get a feel for their verbal/written style, and to note when something presented as an attributed "quote" is out-of-character or out-of-style for the person supposedly being quoted. If Keanu Reeves name was not in this thread's title and opening post, no one would have associated these "quoted" words with him, because it sounds nothing like him.
It's not a big deal (except probably to Reeves, who I am convinced never spoke or typed the words in the alleged Reeves "quote"), but for the sake of accuracy on our forum, it bears repeating (thanks, Paula) that an attempt to vet the quote source came up empty. Not very good "alternative reporting" of the truth if we allow any random celebrity name to be associated with a cluster of words they probably never uttered.
