the flip side is that the Guradian newspaper has allowed many people, who would otherwise not come across such ideas and theories ,to consider these issues and evn investigate furthur for themselves if some of those theories peek their curiosity

I agree, the Guardian article is a great hoot. It's so entertaining that it's bound to raise the awareness of a few sheeple.

For another good laugh, here's what some have made (http://tinyurl.com/36jjjkl) of the 2012 Olympics logo (adult viewing).

Way back in 1952, Bernard Wolfe wrote a sci-fi classic named Limbo '90, later renamed Limbo (http://www.amazon.com/Limbo-Bernard-Wolfe/dp/088184327X). I just re-read chapter 19. Now I come across articles like this (http://www.engadget.com/2008/01/17/prosthetic-limbed-runner-disqualified-from-olympics/).

In zookumar's thread Vintage Alex Jones: Webster Tarpley exposes Wikileaks fraud! (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?9018-Vintage-Alex-Jones-Webster-Tarpley-exposes-Wikileaks-fraud!) (thanks zook!), if you watch the fourth video starting at about 10m45s, Tarpley has this to say:

Tarpley: Of course, the indispensable ingredient is that (Julian Assange) is persecuted, right? We're told that he's on the run, he's seeking asylum in Switzerland, but nevertheless he still has the New York Times, the Guardian in Britain which is the left wing of MI6...

Jones: They're his mouthpieces!

Tarpley: Yeah, yeah, they all work for him. Now, Alex, you and I know very well; if you come up with something the US Establishment wants to suppress, this is not how they treat you...

quote from above post:

"Tarpley Of course, the indispensable ingredient is that (Julian Assange) is persecuted, right? We're told that he's on the run, he's seeking asylum in Switzerland, but nevertheless he still has the New York Times, the Guardian in Britain which is the left wing of MI6...

Jones: They're his mouthpieces!

Tarpley: Yeah, yeah, they all work for him. Now, Alex, you and I know very well; if you come up with something the US Establishment wants to suppress, this is not how they treat you..." end quote

They would also say that if Assange WASN'T persecuted by the authorities then he would be a ptb patsy as well. You can twist this any way you like.

Quote :" if you come up with something the US Establishment wants to suppress, this is not how they treat you".... remember the encrypted information that is waiting to be unencrypted and released ? Also if the ptb start to censor the msm openly then everyone heres about it very quickly.

Right... the best thing you could do under the circumstances is to find a way to defame his character in such a manner as to associate sheer disgust with anything the man's name is tied to. There is no better method than rape (well maybe child molestation... but doesn't look like they had an opportunity for that one). That's a real doozie. It's also the LAST thing you would say if he was secretly promoting your interests. Tying him with a mortal enemy of some kind would be far more effective... i.e. trump up some allegation that he is a front for a terrorist organization. So I don't see it going both ways. He's for real. The rape allegation sealed it for me.
