To me it's a dude waking up to the BS with the world around him, it's all fake, all about products / money and how one feels out of place and ripping off the false self (after thinking there was something wrong with him and he was falling apart - then realizing not it's ok just take off the **** - only after doing what's recommended and taking prescribed drugs to feel better and fit in again) to discover what's really underneath + how awkward it is playing along with the BS once you come to that realization. Loved how they kept using the products / advertising as well to relay that message.

You see trippy i see trippy with a lot of meaning behind it :)
