‘Mystical Oneness and the Nine Aspects of Being’ is a heartening book written by Wayne Wirs that paints a path to ‘enlightenment’. Wayne divides the path into three tiers and nine aspects of beingness for the purpose of describing how one can achieve mystical communion with the Divine.

A definition of spirituality (from wikipedia) is a psychological pursuit ‘centered on the "deepest values and meanings by which people live."’ ‘Mystical Oneness..’ helps the reader discover, or enhance, their deepest core being, and come to grips with the Divine nature embedded in all of us.

This book is a practical guide to spiritual development. The author describes his personal views, experiences and research for the journey to Cosmic Consciousness. His descriptions are from real life, yet leave room for the mystery of living. Practical exercises are given with each aspect of this journey to assist the aspirant’s spiritual development.

Wayne writes with an entertaining style, a style that exudes humor, love and compassion. A style that also shows a deep understanding of the subject matter. The reader is lead on a trip of self discovery, through various parts of their own spirit as guided by Wayne’s personal route to inner insight. We complete this excursion at the intimate doorstep of the Divine, an experience of love and light.

Well done, Mr. Wirs. Reading this book is enlightening in its own right. A recommended read for any spiritual aspirant.

Here are some quotes from this book:

“As soon as you say, "I am something" (Awareness, Presence, …) you become it, you own it, you identify with it. You make it personal and it gets added to "you." It becomes attached to you. You become more and suddenly all the confusion begins. You, whatever that is, are ultimately indescribable and undefinable. You exist, but you can't be pinned down or boxed in or limited.”

“Self preservation, self consciousness, self centredness: “The traits themselves are neither good nor bad. They are built into the Self Aspect to help us operate and function in this Realm of Separation. Where they become problematic though, is when we identify with them. When we own them. When we become attached to them. These traits and desires may be required for you to function in the world, but they are not you... They are your tools for survival and social interaction.”

“Less fear, more love. Less ego, more vastness. Less seriousness, more acceptance. Less expectations, more reward. Less you, more Divine. As your heart opens—as you become less —TaoGod awakens.”

“The Mystic Aspect though, because it is on the path of the Heart, is about building a relationship . A relationship with TaoGod. The Mystic Aspect is about Love.”

“The siddhis are evidence that TaoGod is real. But the siddhis also serve another important function. They act as sort of a guidance system. A Divine guidance system. Precognition, telepathy, and intuition can help you make decisions. The insights provide wisdom, opening up new areas for contemplation and exploration. Synchronicity is probably the most common siddhi.”

“The awakening of Cosmic Consciousness has been shared by all the great sages throughout history. The awakening and maturing of Cosmic Consciousness is a property —a trait—of...quite simply Divine union . It is when the individual consciousness lives in harmony with Cosmic Consciousness. It is still quite rare, but nonetheless it is still a well documented quality of advanced spiritual development.”

“Love flows through you and creates this world we live in. Love flows through you and creates the Universe so that we/She/Us/You can see it and live in it and love.”

“Here's another secret: If you act from Love consciously , if you focus on the Love before and during your actions, something amazing happens: You'll be happy.”

“Everything is Divine Love manifest. Everything. The implications of this can change your life: Everything you've ever done, you've done for Love. Everything everyone has done, they've done for Love.”

“She—the Divine—flows through you as Love. Fear—self centered me, me, me fear—bends Her Love. Fear taints Her love and Her will.”

“Beneath it All, there lies a vast Sea of Love and Light. The Sea is the Unmanifest. The Sea is the Divine. The Sea is God before the World is formed. Through You, She sees. Through You, She experiences. Through You, She lives. The Light is the Light of Awareness. The Light is Your ability to see and to feel and to experience.”
