Thank you Aztar, for leading us to other parts of the article I posted in the OP. I had discovered the OP article in a Google search for information on Admiral George Stephen Morrison, Jim Morrison's father. I wasn't aware of the other parts to the original article, or to 'Dave's Web'.

I am so pleased to see the Dave's Web "Inside the Laurel Canyon" material being discussed here because it was this series of articles that shattered more illusions for me personally than possibly anything else I have ever read. Dave McGowan writes very well and his research is immaculate. What a guy, what a mind!

Initially I simply found it profoundly disturbing, but eventually was able to come to some positive conclusions. It is lengthy and will take some time to read, and I am looking forward to reading any comments folks may have about how it all fits in with the "bigger picture". and of sharing some of what I thought and the conclusions I came to.

The reason I found the articles so disturbing is because whilst growing up and making sense of a world which seemed to be populated by baffling fake adults one thing that seemed to be telling the truth was music. As a teenager and young adult, it was precisely the music coming out of Laurel Canyon (although I didn't realise that it was all coming from that area at the time) that meant most of all, had it's finger on the pulse, spoke to me etc and made me feel connected to something bigger.

Of course I had heard of the Manson murders but not of any details - I was a child at the time and information was hard to come by till the internet came along.

When I discovered Dave McGown's articles I was in the midst of discovering the NWO, Illuminati, conspiracies and coverups and had heard of MKULTRA. Still I was not expecting to discover those musicians whose music had meant so much to me were somehow embroiled in this murky dark evil beneath the surface of our political, social and cultural history.

In the light of my newly found knowledge of some of what the Military Industrial Complex had been up to, the implications of virtually all those musicians coming from military backgrounds was not lost on me. When I got to the part detailing the huge number of murders, unexplained deaths and so called suicides amongst these musicians and their friends and associates my view of the world kind of shattered really. Those very same artists who had made me feel connected to a wider world and indeed had introduced me to the concept not just of a world of love and peace, but also a world where I could experiment, take some risks, and basically change the version of reality handed me by my parents.

I had perceived from an early age that my parents' generation seemed to be living in a way that had not worked and had led us to ever-increasing pollution, degenerative disease and commercialism. It felt like the musicians were in a sense my peers, were certainly my role models and they seemed to be offering me hope of a different way of dealing with things that just might turn things around.

Of course this must have been similar to the way millions of people of my generation felt - as they were buying the records.

To discover it all may have been manipulated and even to some extent manufactured was such a shock.

This is EXACTLY the reason I started this thread, onetruth.

If only one individual 'gets it' from reading Dave McGown's articles than I feel as though I've done my job as an observer.

As one researches-on, one will eventually come to the conclusion that it is ALL being controlled.

The Laural Canyon 'crew' appears to be an extension of the MK-ULTRA program. If you REALLY want an eyeopener into the MK-ULTRA program you should get a copy of Cathy O'Brien and Mark Phillips' book, "Trance-Formation of America".

It's all part of an agenda.... and it's all being directed by extra-dimensional reptilian life forms....

They are very clever at what they do....

On the topic of mind control, this is a 'must listen' interview....

Thanks for posting, I listened to the radio interview and learned some new things about the current situation of "mind control in music" . My daughters often point out the in your face symbolism in current music videos and ask me why, what it means and so on. (eg. the one eye through triangular fingers, covering one eye and so on, and frequent eye in the pyramid symbol. Illuminati symbols and in such plain sight now that it seems like it's the current trend or fashion.)

Looking at it's beginnings feels very important to me, in helping me understand the bigger picture and so I can try and assess what it's impact has been on my own consciousness, and so I can try and give some guidance to my children from a position of knowledge rather than helplessness or fear.

What I think personally - and this is just an intuition or a feeling - is that real creativity, real art is about the expression of truth. This is what they have tried to corrupt, co-opt and manipulate, because it's dangerous for them as it stimulates strength and energy in us, and love. I think their experiment went wrong and they saw that they couldn't quench this creativity or manipulate this positive aspect. The suicides, murders and accidents in Laurel Canyon resulted from the manipulators trying to put the brakes on when the musicians started spreading truth, love and creativity, because this was empowering the listeners and encouraging them to rebel against evil!

The current music situation seems to reflect that they have refined their "act". Now with the emphasis is upon sex rather than universal love and brotherhood, they seem to be having more success in co-opting and manipulating the energies of our young.
