Was laser weapon used to destroy BP oil rig? - PHOTOS
Hi Folks,
I was working abroad last summer.
Was the BP rig hit by a laser weapon? I am aware the alternative media were talking about False Flags, but didn’t think it was this serious.

Where did those pictures of a laser coming down from the sky onto a fireball on the water come from, Fred259? What are they pictures of, and when were they taken? Who took the pictures and how did you get them?
P.S. -- It might be that your pictures, Fred259, the discussion of whether the cause was a giant laser, and my questions here belong on their own separate thread of this subforum.

Like I say I was working abroad and only really heard about the disaster on radio.
When I got back to the UK, shall we say less reputable alternative news sites were talking about a False Flag, but that was all.
I did watch one of Bills video reports but he didn’t mention this at all, he was talking more about the loop current.
I felt certain someone on Avalon would know so I searched through the forum and nothing, then I posted them up this afternoon.

I understand fisherman were out in the Gulf and moored up close by the rig to get some rest. Following the explosion someone took some video and posted it on You Tube, but it was down within hours, but they still got the photographs.
These websites are serious. They refer to B&K. and have Camelot links. It would seem the guys know Kerry. Copenhagen ground crew comes to mind.

Probably just lens flares ... they are there all the time while the pictures are taken several hours apart.

Thanks for the links and background information.
Re: Was laser weapon used to destroy BP oil rig? - PHOTOS
maybe they were aiming for the pontoon underneath it that kept the oil platform evenly afloat
would have liked to see pics of the underside of the pontoon affected ( the one directly under the helipad)

I will not claim that I have experience identifying perforations made by a laser, but someone would have tell me what I am seeing there and have a better explanation than it was lased.

Hi, Folks: it's not a laser!
Any professional photographer will confirm that this is a lens flare.
The giant hole in the helideck (image below) was discussed in depth by oil industry professionals on the Oil Drum Forum - but I doubt if I'll be able to find the references. The strong informed consensus was that this was a conventional explosion from stored fuel on the platform... fuel tanks were situated nearby (as I recall).

Looks like Bill agrees with you, Operator. Good call.

I can't really emphasize this enough, tbh.
For those who haven't seen it, this in depth analysis by the NYT best describes what happened on the Deepwater Horizon following the blowout.
My father is in the oil industry and says it is accurate. And let's just say he's not fan of BP...
