Pardon me if I would make you repeat yourself, but do you mean that nothing the man has to sell "in his own used-car-salesman way of breathless talking" is worthy information to you ?
If your heart listens along, does it allow for a human to be human and impersonate flaws that do not necessarily bear on the content of the "information" ?
Someone doesn't need to be flawless in every respect to earn some credit for what they have come across through their own life experiences and work.
So what if he kills a bird with two stones ? Does it mean both stones are worthless ?
What if not all of his "scientific" claims are, in your understanding, correct ? Does it cancel all validity to what he has to bring ?
At the end of the day, aren't all our assumptions based on our intuitions ?
And is it not true that intuition and rigid viewpoints tend to create a "standing wave" of attention, freezing one, as it were, into a fixed viewpoint ?
Are your requirements of scientific accuracy (not going into the epistemological issue of the same cul-de-sac here as in Philosphy) not informing your intuition, i.e. cloaking it ?
What is your discernment made of and, what does it leave out ?
To me, compassion - out of place as it may first seem - is an important aspect of discernment...
you are reading too much into it.
The deagle deal was easy because he used a lot of datapoints that could be verified (or the absence could be verified). Not too much intuition was needed.
I invite you to read the list and listen to the piece while you do it and you will see it too I guess.
I admit that I didnt like the way he talks and if all he had said would have been written instead I probably had a bit more distance, but it would not change a thing regarding his mistakes and/or highly questionable utterings. The vast majority of my critique is based on verifyable scientific facts. And I am not talking quantum mechanics. real easy stuff.
I dont suffer fools gladly so compassion didnt enter the equation at a rate of 32 errors in 82 minutes :-)

Re: Important audio interview with Dr Bill Deagle, April 2010
I very much enjoyed Bill and Bill talking together, although I REALLY enjoyed hearing OUR Bill R. But Bill D. is nothing if not entertaining, enthusiastic, passionate and cute. I don't CARE if he's right or wrong in part or in whole. It's simply not important to me. I would not choose to believe any fear based conclusions of his and even if some of his dire predictions do come to pass, so what. I will enjoy whatever happens but I will not expect anything just because someone predicts it. So I am free to enjoy Bill D. purely for his good qualities. Whether or not he is deluded or mistaken, he is very entertaining and has a lot of interesting info and insights.
Nancy :)

Well, ok then, thank you for your viewpoint.

Re: Important audio interview with Dr Bill Deagle, April 2010
Well, well, well...I've had a long, rather tiring day at work and I got a call from my 20 yr- old son, sobbing, he got fired from his little part-time job because he was 15 minutes late for work ( he has been there over a year) and now he's worried about paying his rent (what's a mother for?) so I don't even have the mental strength today to get involved in this Bill Deagle/Sam Vado debacle but I'll check out the interview and check in later. I'm off-topic but will everyone who reads this put out some positive energy for my son, if just to make him feel better? Thanks all. Carry on. XXXOOO

Re: Important audio interview with Dr Bill Deagle, April 2010
The Stratospheric Observatory For Infrared Astronomy is soon going to be in the air - in a modified Jumbo Jet.
The acronym (nice one) is SOFIA: hot on the heels of the WISE satellite.

Let's see if it heads for the southern hemisphere once it's in the air.

Indeed, the wise woman ... are we going to have acces to the results or is it classified?
I see german flag on the carrier - so it must be in some way publicly available (not necessarily truthful though).

we had a splendid cosmology night discussing mostly Heim (and a trace of electric universe) - you would have enjoyed it.

Re: Important audio interview with Dr Bill Deagle, April 2010
Bill Ryan asked me to contribute to the discussion here.
On 4/13/2010 I contacted Bill Ryan because I had received information concerning a large celestial body entering our solar system. I was also informed about the deployment of the WISE (Wide-infrared Survey Explorer) satellite in polar orbit, of which until that day I was unaware of this satellite mission. When I talked with Bill Ryan on the 13th, he too was unaware of the WISE satellite.
I had contacted Bill in the hopes that his human network might have some information I was trying to learn.
(FYI... I have not yet listened to the Deagle interview. I also do not know or have any connection with Bill Deagle. I have talked with him only one time by phone a few years ago.)
Until April 13th, I did not know much of anything about the subject of large celestial companions to our sun. During the last week, the subject matter has been a high priority for me and it has lead to a recent flurry of e-mail exchanges with Bill Ryan sharing information on this matter.
I do not want to publicly engage in wild speculations or fear-mongering. There a several verifiable facts that are worthy to note....
1) There has been a substantial increase in the number and severity of earthquakes on planet earth, as well as a number of notably unusual weather events. (The politically correct view is that the cause is human created global warming. I don't buy that.)
2) The WISE satellite mission was launched from Vandenberg AFB on 14 Dec 2010. It is the most advanced infrared satellite launched to date and is several hundred times more powerful than the IRAS mission of 1983. As of April 10, 2010, WISE has completed 50% of it's mission to map the sky and catalog Near Earth Orbit (NEO) objects.
3) The ground based telescope at the South Pole in Antarctica has recently finished all pre-commissioning hardware checks and is now operationally deployed.
4) The NASA airborne SOFIA infrared telescope is also available as a very flexible asset for tracking targets in our solar system.
What do I conclude from all this? Is our solar system a binary star arrangement with a brown dwarf companion? I really don't know for sure, and I'm trying hard to find some solid confirnmation. But something is going on and a lot of money and resources are being deployed to watch something in space in the infrared spectrum.
For those interested....
Here is a link to the tracking Priority List for Near Earth Orbit objects in the Spaceguard System with the NEOs graded from Urgent to Low Priority.

And here is a catalog of NEOs being tracked in the NEODys.

The Vatican have also recently started taking mucho interest in following celestian bodies. :p (Pun forgiven?).
