meeting someone - feeling good
Do you notice, how people on average behave and react when they walk by strangers in public?
Does it feel like people are being very comfortable or feeling better when they walk by someone?
If that is not the case, it can be due to myriads of reasons. Subtle manipulations through archons, anxiety, envy, condescendence and what-have-you.
I think focusing on intending to shower strangers walking by with genuine love and appreciation and humbly letting them see, how the love, that runs through yourself, gives you a gentle but profound strength, is a powerfull tool in subtly opening the artificial walls of the people's mind prison and reassuring those, who already sense more of the big picture.
Walking around and encountering fellow humans can be a source for a feeling of well-being for everyone involved. It's a simple and powerful tool. We are one team and if we behave as friends, it is most beneficial for our collective evolution, it's that simple.
And if you still find it difficult, to be happy about walking by strangers, try to imagine a scenario, where a virus, a war or earth changes killed the majority of people and destroyed much of the infrastructure. Imagine roaming around in such a world almost starving and eventually after days or weeks encountering some other human again.
Re: meeting someone - feeling good
Sadly I have a thing of keeping my eyes down as if I were a female reared in Asia. However, when I remind myself to look at strangers, store clerks, etc. in the eyes and smile, I immediately see the change in them. They like being acknowledged. So if you are an introvert and allow people their privacy, keep in mind that a meeting of the eyes and smile may be the kindest thing you can do to lighten up our world.
Re: meeting someone - feeling good
I agree grannyfranny100,
A simple connection with the eyes and a smile .. this is something we can all do - and I believe it is infectious. When I do this, I see stages in a stranger pass through in rapid succession from fear to surprise (sometimes disbelief) then a moment of gratitude.
All worth it!
Thanks Christian - see what you have started :)
Re: meeting someone - feeling good
This is an interesting thread. I know that on a sunny day, when walking around London in a good mood, I will most probably have a smile on my face and I am aware of how often tourists and passersby will stop me and ask directions and this will often develop into a conversation. I love meeting people like that - you hear such interesting stories. I think they pick up the positive vibe! Maybe you attract what you put out.
Re: meeting someone - feeling good
Great post!! Most don't realize they every little thing effects the whole. I try to give some love to each and every customer that comes into my store. It could be a simple smile, touch, joke, compliment......some kind of connection. Total strangers will pour out their life story a lot of the time.
Some places negatively affect my mood, like Walmart, I'm happy going in and cranky coming out. Next time I'll try and radiate love <3

I agree with you, christian, but I'd like to add something to your last comment: Please DON'T imagine this kind of end of the world scenario. Remember that we're manifesting faster than ever before. Visualize our world in peace and harmony (and without the dark influences).....
Re: meeting someone - feeling good
I live in a tourist area... Los Cabos, Mexico. I smile at the tourists so that they feel comfortable walking around in our cities. I usually get a smile back, it works.
People like to feel welcome when they travel to another country or city.

True, I wrote in delicate terms. It's meant as "consider the alternative". There are lessons to be learnt for humanity and if we don't learn them under the given set of circumstances, there will be new circumstances in the future, that will emphasize the need to learn that lessons even more. If we don't figure out how to live as brothers and sisters in the world of today, we'll have another chance figuring it out in some kind of catastrophe-torn scenario in the future. "Is that what it takes for you to be kind to others?" That's what I was alluding to.
Re: meeting someone - feeling good
great thread Chistian,
I find myself more and more able to feel kindness in those situations....
Re: meeting someone - feeling good
When I am in a doctors surgery waiting room or at the dentist, I find most people hardly look at each other. They almost never speak to other people, but I do. Sometimes I get strange looks as I am from another planet. However, more often that not, they free up and loosen up.

Re: meeting someone - feeling good
Very well put Christain, thanks so much.
I have noticed a low level almost robotic behavoir that often runs through a crowd and seems to follow me around at times, infecting those around me and colluding with my own lower levels. Especially when I'm trying hard to be uplifting and focusing on higher internal feelings. Almost as though they miss my usual behavoir. I believe this is because I feel I'm nearing a breakthrough of sorts and "they" don't want me to succeed in my efforts. Recently I've found a means to counter this effect. One is as you say, the one on one silent, anonymous connection. Another is verballizing positive niceties, like "thank you", or "excuse me" or "sorry" or a host of others as might befit a certain situation. And like they say, a smile goes a long way.
I especially like connecting with children from a distance with a nod or a funny face and such. It's funny to watch their reactions. Some are so much more advanced than their gaurdians...

No, Christian, I refuse to image that at all.
Re: meeting someone - feeling good
Just found this post today! And had this experience earlier today; a litle girl walking with her crippled dad in a permobile. As i passed them on my bike she looked at me with a strange/sad/suspiscious gaze and i said Hello! Somewhat surprised her small face lit up and she answered with a shy hello....
Re: meeting someone - feeling good
MBee, you live in a country where you have the option of not 'imagining' war or pestilence -- there are places in the world in which your brothers & sisters do not have that option -- they live w/it
i do hope that all the positive thinking & visualization so talked about on this forum -- i do hope it all does what has never before been done in Human history, & stops the evil on this planet -- or even if you could stop the Earth changes! i'm looking forward to seeing how you all do it
edit: very nice thread, Christian -- i like smiling & joking myself -- & i agree w/others -- there are some awesome souls looking out of some very young bodies these days

Focusing on creating through love and light is a good thing and I appreciate, that you are determined to contribute to the creation of a positive timeline.
Do you know that native American proverb "I was sad because I had no shoes, then I met a man without legs"? Would you respond to someone telling you this "I refuse to imagine a man without legs"?
I explained the idea behind this paragraph in another post.
I meant, if you'd find it too difficult to be kind to others, this catastrophic timeline is what you will get and then you might learn to appreciate the warmth of companionship.
It's not meant as "keep your focused intention on it to manifest it" but as "ask yourself how it would feel to be in such a situation and see if you like it and if you don't like it, do what it takes right here right now to prevent it from happening".
Overcoming stuff, facing it and taking it by the horns - not avoiding to look at it or running from it. The latter is a trap and will get one haunted.

Beautifully said.
I have two young people (in age...not in spirit :) ) that accompany me wherever I go. They're full of joy. (Well, most of the time). :)
My favorite part of the day is taking a stroll around the neighborhood, chatting with neighbors, passers by... even the trees and flowers are included... and for my littlest one - acknowledging anything that crawls and burrows.
You can feel the energy. There is a lightness and a joy that's shared. Children have this innate ability. It's effortless. More importantly, it's infectious. I have the good fortune of hanging out with them and learning a thing or two. So do those around us.
Thanks for this lovely thread Christian. It is indeed "a simple and powerful tool."
Re: meeting someone - feeling good
Christian, this is a very important thread. I'm a bit disappointed it has been thrown off-topic so much. The main part of this story that needs to be amplified is that when you truly love humanity, it shows. When you walk down the street, or through the supermarket, or wherever you are, if you truly hold love in your heart for all of humanity, it will show.
Absolutely beautiful, and amazing things happen when you focus on the love you have for others. Love is almost always reciprocated by others, in my experience. Most of the time, words don't need to be spoken at all. Love is universally understood.
Peace and love-
