Re: Here and Now...What's Happening?
I gotta admit something. Sometimes I use the thank button to keep track of where I am on the thread - since I know of no other way to do so.
Just wanted to make it clear that I read every post and appreciate the flow of everyone's sharing very much.
Don't read too much into the thank yous, it might only be there because I left off there - or it may be because I loved what you posted.
Conversely, I may not have pressed thank you and loved your post just the same. For those who may have felt disappointment over that - I'm sorry.
Course, Ulli would tell me that is a reflection of my own relationship to the thanks button - and she'd be right, as usual.
Here and now, I'm waiting for the lull in work to be over. But I needed the time to reprioritize so it's all good. Been doing a lot of soul-searching and stuff. The angel references were especially useful, as I remembered a great truth, namely, that every individual is perfectly suited for the tasks they are asked to perform. In between we process our stuff and feel less than our potential would allow. But in those moments when Spirit calls we rise to the occasion and our magnificence shines forth in all its splendour.
The truth is that it is only our trained perception that keeps us small. In fact we are all enlightened beings dreaming a dream. The moments we shine are times we wake up, before going back to sleep again...

Oldie but always makes me laugh ;)
Re: Here and Now...What's Happening?
Peaceful, loving vibes in the Village as usual, here tonight. It's all a bit too much out there for me right now, both the forum and the world at large. Thankyou everybody.

What a relaxing ending. Seems the images and the voice of Brad Pitt (thanks Calz_) takes your problems away. "Does not matter".......was the most powerful (and simple) Sentence i've learned from a friend ..... Simple things Works.

So sorry to hear about your friend Catherine, Samsara. Sending healing energy to both of you as you walk this path together.
4:44am every morning for the last two weeks...eyes pop open like someone or something has woken me up, yet all is quiet.
Am loving the music being posted. A lot of it is soothing and peaceful...a refuge from all the craziness out there.
Thank you Belle
I read somewhere that 4:44 was the favourite number of angels... I like that. I've been seeing the 4:44 quite often since.

Huichol VW Bug Art
The Huichol culture includes approximately 26,000 people who live primarily in the western states of Jalisco, Nayarit, and Zacatecas. This culture is known for a dedication to the visual arts, from yarn paintings to intricate beadwork on a variety of objects. To the deeply spiritual Huichol people, their artistic creations are believed to be an extension of their faith. And now, their work is hitting the road with Vochol: Huichol Art on Wheels, which took seven months to make, and was organized by the Asociaciónde Amigos del Museo de Arte Popular (AAMAP) and Governments of the States of Nayarit and Jalisco.

Re: Here and Now...What's Happening?
So much goodness on the thread.
Back from my walk in the darkness. A solid hour of ho'opono'opono as I walked. Reminded me of the barefoot walking meditation we did in herb school.
I'm doing a M.A.P. session tonight, then more ho'opono'opono.
Love to everyone everywhere.

did anybody see the moon when it first rose tonight? GORGEOUS, a golden orange color.

My cat just returned after a 30 hour trek away from home (deep sigh of relief). I am going to curl up with him, here and now, and bury my face in fur.
Peace to the 'village'.

Cats are heavenly.
Lots of cat lovers in this Village...who know all about the feeling of cat homecoming after prolonged cat absenses.
Now celebrating with you.
Great video, thanks for that.
Re: Here and Now...What's Happening?
Interesting links Nora, thanks. I first learned about the Huichol culture when I visited Zacatecas and Real de Catorce in San Luis Potosi. I was teaching English in Monterrey and on different weekends randomly visited both towns.
It is in Real de Catorce or thereabouts where Wirikuta, the deity that is peyote, is believed to abide. There is a mountain there where the Huichol make a pilgrimage by foot each year, for some many many miles, and perform the ritual of shooting Wirikuta, a deer, with an arrow and then ingesting the sacrifice. At least this was what I was told when I was there, and I'm not completely fluent in Spanish either. Suffice it to say that the unexpected visit left a lasting influence on me.
Real de Catorce was one of the most unbelievable places that I have ever been. Highly recommended. If you visit, take your wool, 'cause it's cold at night on top of that mountain!
If you look closely at the images on the links you gave, you can see the representation of Wirikuta, a deer, even on the clothes of the Huichol man.

Here and now I believe that today marks the beginning of a three day water fast. I have had some heartburn issues and have always been able to get long lasting healing of the injured esophageal tissues by just not eating for three days. Not drinking coffee will be the thing I miss most. I have a few organic coffees that I drink and they are so very smooth and delicious. I drink them black with little, 1 teaspoon, to no sugar in them. My tubes will love me for this.
@Carmody: Beautiful written post about egoless/low ego requirement for higher societal function. Your favorite hat may be low ego, but is way too snazzy for egoless. :p
Dear Modwiz, I have been experiencing the same syndrome. I have found relief with a digestive enzyme capsule (NOW Digest Platinum) capsule with each meal. I would normally never resort to a capsule, but a while back I happened to listen to Wilcock's Higher Self series. He recommended both B12 liquid and a digestive enzyme supplement. I purchased both at that time and have been enjoying the B12 liquid since then. I have just realized a need for the digestive enzymes about a week ago and found relief to the problem you have referred to.
If I am misunderstood here, or if this sounds really dumb, please forgive me....

Hey Playdo,
No, I have not traveled into San Luis Potosi. But through my travels I have been fortunate enough to witness a few deer dances -1 Yaqui and the rest were Huichol -never been to a peyote ceremony. Amazing and compassionate, the plant spirit and spirit of the deer are very strong in a lot of indigenous cultures . Have always been fascinated with their art -have looked into getting a few big cat pieces and big cat masks. Will put Real de Catorce on my list of places.....

Re: Here and Now...What's Happening?
For me, I have to constantly defocus to walk among people. I can't look at them with any focus, as every single one of them will turn and look at me. I noticed that again today. I'll put a bit of energy into this thread. Lets see what happens.
The Hendrix family went after the old one (that I added in to the thread). So someone else stepped up to the plate.

hmmm that's what it is,
I have just started to work in groups, and that weekend in face to face situation,
something really intense was going on that i was not coping all that well with.
That's what it is, too much energy being projected out,
so need to work out some strategies for this.
better energy management
