    MorningSong, can you please give us the range again? I cannot remember what is considered strong CMEs/flares and what are considered weak ones, etc.

    Hmm, interesting. Could it be that because the Earth is but a large ball, that it does matter where you are situated on it? Perhaps perspective from position matters.
