We received National Guard help during Hurricane Irma and maybe Hurricane Floyd too. Maybe Army Corps was here but I did not know about it because I had no access to the news for about a week. But the two other disasters that I lived through in Central Florida -- the "historic" wildfires of 1998 and the tornado outbreak in 1998, one of the state's deadliest -- I don't recall the presence of National Guard or Army Corps.
Yes, but I'm referring to two things specifically: 1) Having the Army Corp of Engineers come in and do a clean-up after a wildfire. 2) Having the National Guard come in and do a lock-down on a specific neighborhood after a wildfire. I've never seen that happen before in the case of wildfires. And we get multiple wildfires here every year.

Yes, the National Guard does help in relief and rescue efforts in times of floods, hurricanes, fires and other disasters. (or riots). And, at times, the Nat. Guard does secure neighborhoods from looting. But what is happening up in Santa Rosa needs to be questioned. Just like the Las Vegas shootings need to be questioned, and 9-11, and Sandy Hook, and ....................
I am enlightened, ............ Oh wait. That's just the police shining their spotlights on me.

IMO: Army corp of engineers isn't in there doing clean up, they are managing it, and they aren't bringing in bulldozers painted black, the clean up will be very transparent and done by local contractors.

Tests have shown that the concrete is typically unsound following a fire and the soil beneath it often contaminated....A fact sheet prepared jointly by the city of Santa Rosa and Sonoma County handed out at the meeting stated even if the foundation is structurally sound, “there is a risk of exposure to toxins if you choose not to remove it.”

Homeowners who opt out of the program and save their foundations “will be required to meet approved standards” to ensure the integrity of the concrete, the fact sheet said.

Sounds like it's voluntary also (though highly encouraged)...

Looks more and more like normal operations, I don't see anything suspicious at all actually.

I think fellow local aplanetruth is doing some really good work. He jumps the gun a little here and there, but is doing a very good job of putting pieces of the puzzle on the table and asking good questions. FYI, he apparently is also aplaintruth, saying he had to create a second for when the main account is sent temporarily to two-week 'youtube jail'.

What are the chances that 3 of the largest avionics military laser companies are located in Santa Rosa, CA?

    https://www.l3t.com/products-services/capabilities
    http://www.keysight.com/main/home.jspx?cc=US&lc=eng
    http://aegindustries.com/

L-3 technologies, Keysight, AEG Industries and Sonoma Design Group are all in Santa Rosa and are held by some of the largest weapons manufactures in the world!

Additionally, over two weeks now, and no official 'story' about how so many fires self ignited all at once in the middle of the dark of night.

5G? Pacific Gas and Electric? Climate Change w/ Diablo Winds? are all being talked about but none come close to explain the hellfires that occurred and torched metal, glass, rubber, granite, etc. to the ground in minutes, yet left trees and other buildings in tact.

Thanks Herve... I have noticed that the second 'Portugal' picture shows the alloy wheels still intact... Not molten metal. In most of the Californian fires the alloy wheels were molten. Draw your own conclusions folks...

Something's not quite right with the global picture:

European wildfire numbers explode in 2017: Season average for hectares burned increases four or five-fold

    Chris Harris Euronews
    Sun, 29 Oct 2017 22:27 UTC

The number of forest fires in the EU has more than doubled so far this year
, according to figures obtained by Euronews, affecting an area twice the size of Luxembourg.

There have been 1,671 blazes so far in 2017 - a huge increase on the 639 the bloc saw annually on average over the previous eight years.

Experts have blamed climate change for the rise, saying it has extended the traditional wildfire season and increased the frequency of blazes.

They have warned Europe's forest fires will rage more often in the future and engulf new areas.

Portugal, Italy and Croatia have all been hit this summer amid high temperatures and lower-than-normal rainfall.
SOTT Comment: But other parts of Europe have been hit with the reverse: low temperatures and above-normal rainfall, yet wildfires rage there too. Even Greenland! This is a snapshot from mid-October:

    12:36 PM - Oct 16, 2017
It comes after 64 people died in a forest fire in Portugal, with many victims caught in their cars as they tried to flee in June.

Despite average summer temperatures and a cold spring, wildfires exploded in Europe this year

Despite average summer temperatures and a cold spring, wildfires exploded in Europe this year [2017 > (2008-2016) x 4]

    Starting earlier, burning longer
Thomas Curt, a researcher at the National Research Institute of Science and Technology for Environment and Agriculture, said global warming was a factor in Portugal's deadly fire and that climate change had extended the wildfire season from two to up to five months.

Alexander Held, a senior expert at the European Forest Institute, backed Curt's claim saying fires were starting earlier and burning for longer.

"We will see a lot more surprises and fires burning in places that don't have a fire history," Held told Euronews. "Spain burns, yes, but it's not a surprise.

"We'll see more fires and more intense fires in the Mediterranean and new fire situations in countries that don't really expect it."
SOTT Comment: Either this man has amazing powers of prognostication or... a clear pattern of ever-increasing wildfires is emerging.
Held said Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Austria and Switzerland could be among the countries who see more wildfires than they are used to.

Last year a study led by the University of Leicester revealed Catalonia, Madrid and Valencia as the European areas most at risk of wildfires threatening people.

    'Invest in prevention'
"I would say it's the weather and weather is the short-term of climate. We do have these more extreme weather situations more often, so this is climate change," Held continued.

"But it's a very welcome excuse to say it's climate change. It gives you a nice way out to say it's climate change."

Held, a forester and a fire specialist, called for more to be done to prevent fires by managing the land better.

He said the land hit in Portugal's deadly fire last month was owned by forestry companies who had no incentive to limit their profits by putting in fire breaks.

Scientists and meteorologists have never seen anything like it.

    Wildfire politics
"There's nobody on a European level to say yes we need helicopters and the fire service but let's take 10 percent of the firefighting budget and invest that in strategic vegetation management," he said.

"Firefighting is expensive, with all the vehicles and aerial resources. It would be a fraction of this budget to invest in managing the land.

"Or compensate a landowner if he is cutting fire breaks or providing better access to his land or if he does a risk analysis.

"At the moment this is very neglected. The reality is firefighting is very political and business-driven, especially with helicopters and aircraft.

"As a politician if you order more helicopters you are seen as a very active politician but if you invest in clearing land, no-one from the media will show any interest in your prevention work."

Here's quite the easy to follow, graphic education in the evolution of DEWS, lasers and microwave weapons from the History Channel, 2015. You have to endure the conscienceless verbage proudly describing 'getting the per-kill cost down to $3,000'.

But the parallels to Santa Rosa are plentiful, and I think one smoking gun is the descriptions of circuitry disabling considering the disabling of circuitry of every kind at the Silverado Hotel that was one of the first things that happened - all regular electrical, backup generators AND battery operated lights.

"A blast of microwaves will tripper a shockwave of electrical pulses that will race thru the air generating a power surge that knocks out circuits."

    34:56 (re: Electromagnetic Bombs)
"An E-Bomb could strike with deadly accuracy. The thing about this kind of EMF weapon is that it scales very easily. Yes, you could use something that could be like a bomb and set it off over a city if you're trying to take out an entire city. But you could do much smaller sorts of devices that would have a much more limited range. So you could take out a particular neighborhood..."

This is an article about the ash from the California wildfires being toxic:

Wired magazine, "After the Napa Fires, a Disaster-In-Waiting: Toxic Ash" : https://www.wired.com/story/napa-fire-ash/

That's what I remember when my friends in Lake County moved back into their home after the Valley Fire. They said it was a very toxic environment. Everyone had to have their properties cleaned up professionally.

In older forested land that hasn’t burned in decades, pollution may have deposited heavy metals like copper, lead, aluminum, arsenic, and even mercury onto the plants.

I wonder how much aluminum they will find.

WeatherWar101 has produced many videos throughout the years that show and tell how most of our weather may be nearly entirely engineered -- storm fronts, tropical systems, winds, etc -- and has been for about 50 years. I have only seen about a dozen of the videos thus far.

Although he does not suggest a cause, he does not believe the northern California fires were started by downed power lines or "space-based" DEWs. He does say they were "deliberately" and "strategically" set, like many fires, including the historic fires that erupted in British Columbia in 2016, to produce smoke, which provides carbon to form the cloud condensation nuclei needed for storm systems.

Here are his two videos on the fires, each less than 15 mins. long.

Thanks, LadyM, for the videos.....are we talking about drones or satellites beaming something down for these "simultaneous" fires? It's all so sad. Are people REALLY being "herded" into the Agenda 21 program...is that what is going on?!!

In the summary section of his video, WeatherWar101 wrote, in so many words, "space-based" DEWs don't make sense because of the expense -- it is easier and cheaper to ignite fires with people and matches, though he did not mean that is how they started. He just does not go there -- yet -- instead he looks at the unnatural weather conditions that stoked and help expand the fires as well as the why they were started (the weather engineers need carbon/CCN to created storm systems). It's a wild theory, I know.

I am not sure what to make of this, with eyes not trained in laser technology or video hoaxes. The video, published yesterday by aplaintruth on YouTube, shows video clips of blue laser lights in the fire area, recorded supposedly by people on the ground there. It also goes into the winds that came out of no where after the fires started.

It's a bit premature to call it 'proof', but it is interesting. If there were some nefarious agenda or weapon used to torch this particular area, it's still hard to know/understand who was doing it, or...why?!

I agree the question of why needs emphasis. The neighborhoods erased were not in the least poor or in neglect and even included Santa Rosa's entire millionaire mountain. If it turns out nefarious and I think it is, it would be a new concept to the alt community that the rich aren't immune from getting their lives bombed too.

Whoever ultimately benefits will be the why, right? Land grabbing in the name of something else is first on my watchlist. Maybe also the rebuild as some Agenda 2030 'sustainability' example, but I don't think that much attention is going to be paid to us and that issue after the so many years it's going to take to get it done.

But yes, it's a mind boggling amount of high tech destruction aimed at this somewhat sleepy, stable farming/wine country location... who's real estate was skyrocketing.

One coincidence is that a long time coming commuter 'smart' train that goes right thru the Coffey neighborhood finally just opened for business 6 or so weeks before this and now the entire neighborhood needs to be rebuilt from scratch.

I think there's something new to learn here, I don't know what it is yet.

The US Military has combat aircraft with high powered lasers that can be directed at targets.

Here's one of them for example:

Hurricanes and large disasters bleed insurance companies and pump money into the economy when the rebuild takes place.
    No news there.
Some say this is an attempt to push the climate change agenda and force Trump back to the negotiating tables and in fact that may be what is going on here.
A double edged sword, proving climate change to the masses with one edge and threatening Trump by letting him know what is really taking place and threatening him with more targets if he does not comply.
