I have posted this before. Not sure here on Avalon?

Apollo 17 fake picture. Rob does a pretty good job dissecting some NASA photos.

Also remember earth should look 4 times bigger than our moon in our sky.

    Hmmm...

See this one-the pendulum issue, but yes I must admit, none of it is really convincing
I think that one point alone, that there is a clear axis from where the 'astronaught's' pivot, that they are quite clearly attached to wires, says all that needs to be said about that footage.

As for the whole Moon conundrum.........

Why has it not been around long enough to receive a name, just like every other body in our near solar system?

    Regards.
That was exactly what I thought when I saw the pivotal bounce, 'He's on a wire!'

Yes. This was the same serious, slam-dunk anomaly exposed by Bart Sibrel long ago, showing that these images of the Earth were all fabricated from low earth orbit. (Nothing to do with a 'Flat Earth', by the way. )

Surely there must be photos of the Lunar landing sites taken by Lunar orbiters
or telescopes ? I have posted some on other threads , but they could have been
placed there ? Its so annoying that this question has been let simmer for decades
as if it was all part of the plan .......

Gorgeous Moon photos from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter

1 March 2016 Last updated at 22:52 GMT

It's tempting to think we know pretty much everything about the
Moon - after all it's our nearest galactic neighbour and we landed
on it nearly half a century ago. But for the past seven years, the
Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter has been sending back a stream of
stunning images that have transformed our knowledge.

A selection of the million or so photographs are on display at the
National Air and Space Museum in Washington. Jane O'Brien went
    to see them.

The BBC did do an article I just found in 2011

    Probe pictures Moon landing sites

    By Jonathan Amos
    Science correspondent, BBC News
6 September 2011 From the section Science & Environment

    Apollo 17 landing site

Apollo 17: The wheels of the Lunar Roving Vehicle ("Moon buggy") left parallel lines in the "soil"

Remarkable new images of the Apollo landing sites on the Moon have been released by Nasa.

The pictures clearly show the hardware left on the lunar surface by American astronauts in the
1960s and 70s, including Apollo 17's "Moon buggy". The images were acquired by the robotic
Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO), which has been circling Earth's satellite since 2009.

Such shots have been returned before, but these are the best yet.

LRO has recently lowered its orbit from 50km above the Moon's surface to just 25km.
This makes it easier to see equipment, such as the descent stages that put the astronauts
on the surface. Some of the science experiments are visible, also - as are the trails of
bootmarks left in the dirt as the crews positioned these science packages.

    LRV Apollo 17

Harrison Schmitt sits in the LRV

The Apollo 17, 14 and 12 sites are the focus of the latest release.

They were viewed by the narrow-angle imaging system on LRO's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter
Camera (LROC) instrument. At the lower altitude, this instrument sees objects at a resolution of
25cm by 25cm per pixel. In an extreme blow-up of the Apollo 17 Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV), it
is just possible to discern the condition in which the astronauts Eugene Cernan and Harrison
Schmitt parked the buggy - with its wheels turned to the left.LRO has been a highly productive
mission. It has now returned several hundred thousands pictures of the lunar surface.

The probe was originally conceived as a robotic precursor to future manned missions. However,
when Nasa might return to the lunar body with astronauts is not clear. Last year, US politicians
cancelled the project, known as Constellation, that was intended to achieve this feat.

"We all like to obsess and look at the Apollo landing site images because it's fun," said Mark Robinson,
the LROC principal investigator from Arizona State University, Tempe.

    LRO artist's impression

    LRO was launched in 2009

"People actually used to be able to go to the Moon; people used to explore the Moon - and hopefully
sometime in the future that will continue again. But LROC is looking at the whole Moon and we've
taken about 1,500 of these high-resolution images distributed all around the Moon… and this is just
a huge resource for anybody studying the Moon, doing science; and engineers planning to go back
to the Moon in general and to specific sites."

Erosion processes on the Moon work much slower than on an active planet like Earth. Eventually,
though, all traces of the Moon landings will be erased. The lunar body is constantly bombarded
by micrometeorites that will, in time, mix up the boottracks and break down the equipment. It
has been estimated that rock at the surface erodes at a rate of about 1mm per million years.

"In human years, it may seem like forever, but in geologic terms probably there will be no traces
of the Apollo exploration in let's say 10 to 100 million years," said Dr Robinson.

On Thursday, Nasa will launch its latest Moon mission - the Gravity Recovery and Interior Laboratory (Grail).

This is a pair of satellites that will survey the Moon's gravity in unprecedented detail. The data will
reveal its internal structure, helping to explain how the lunar body formed and why its nearside now
looks so different from its farside.

That is my current thoughts as I have said earlier , but that opens up
another set of questions , as we know .....

Kubricks possible collaboration comes into that....

All of a sudden, it's Kubrick mania, all over the net. The Moon Landings...... Did
they, didn't they? Would anyone like to guess why?
There has been a lot of speculation about his involvement for decades as we all
know in the alternate community and on and off docs and articles appear, and a
spike of interest about him ripple over the web. Why now ? Other than the
upcoming 'spoof' movie or the probable hoax documentary discussed in depth on
the other thread I'm not sure . Other that it is one of those 'spikes' in interests that
boil to the surface every now and again. Always a interesting subject imo.

    Jet Wintzer, MOON HOAX NOW

    Published on 14 Jun 2015

MOON HOAX NOW a documentary film by Jet Wintzer (55 minutes)
    ©2015 Filminco Productions
Award winning feature and documentary filmmaker Jet Wintzer launches into the Apollo moon hoax
conspiracy with new research mined from an exhaustive exploration of the official NASA broadcasts
and public record. MOON HOAX NOW drops multiple bombshell smoking guns that forcefully prove
aspects of the record to be a fraudulent charade. The film features esoteric clips from the live TV
footage, gorgeous 16mm film reels, stunning hi def photographs and technical manuals soundtracked
to an original spaced out trancey score. The film is narrated by Jet who painstakingly dissects the
running dialogue between the astronauts and mission control paying close attention to shocking
mistakes, stressed out reactions and on the fly attempted coverups.

More than just an attack on the official story, MOON HOAX NOW is also an exciting reverent new
appraisal of the mission as one of the greatest works of conceptual art ever made. Using rare
footage, vintage Nasa promotional films and dazzling analysis, MOON HOAX NOW takes the
viewer on a voyeuristic voyage behind the vast dazzling lunar curtain.

Default Re: Have we ever been on the Moon?

Jules Verne worked out the snags in launching a rocket from the earth using conventional tnt explosives well over a hundred years ago in his book, to the moon and a trip around it. As a child I read all his books, they were all thought provoking reads. So I was ready for the moon launch in summer 1969 and waited with bated breath for every scrap of news. I was eleven when we went to the moon and the future looked bright, full of wondrous marvels and advancements in all fields of research. Eventually we got the cell phone. That's about it. And the expensive costs associated with all high tech. No transformed society. No disease eradicated, no world hunger abolished. No peace.

Jules Verne must have fore sawn another future world, the one where we cared enough to bother, and make the sacrifices needed, to make our most wondrous dreams a reality.

The moon is a mere 250,000 miles away. That is only ten trips around the earth! And the brightest were assigned to build a system capable of achieving that goal in about seven years from scratch. That is an amazing accomplishment - in my mind and the minds of a generation. Shatter that illusion and there is not much left to cling to.

How can I argue. The proof is there. I could say that it is not that big a deal. I could say that given the resources, even I could eventually get us to the moon and back. Luna is so close it is impossible to miss. To ask: "Why fake what can be done?" opens up the false flag can of worms and all the secret trade deals and elite clandestine meetings, not to mention the obvious collusion of big business. The answer: "They lie to us all the time."

My only argument would be that that was a different time with a different mindset and a vastly different moral code. We all believed the future was bright, we all wanted to help and make it happen. Those scientists and engineers were riding a wave of unprecedented enthusiasm. No way were they going to fail. No way they could have. The cost would be too high to fail. It would have crushed a nation and a world weary of war.

So maybe a few at the very top realized that and came up with a plan? Stage the whole thing. Still go ahead and build the equipment and do the tests and trials. Still attempt to get to the moon. But before you go, come on by MGM and we'll make a little film to ensure that, one way or another, our boys get safely to and from the moon - even if they actually die in the attempt.

It is possible. Sold to a gullible public full of fantastic dreams of the future and still able to hope for a better world for their children. Yes, they could do that, they could think like that.

    Heavy sigh. whatever

One of my questions that nobody even talks about???!!!!!!!!

We were worried (our gov) that Russia was gonna "beat" us there!!!???

Remember Russia.... was going for it ALSO... WHY did they QUIT???

    Why didn't THEY GO??? !!!

WHY didn't We ever build that Moon Base, We talked about?

Seems our Space Shuttle would have been the perfect vehicle to "Shuttle" passengers back and forth?

Russia could have helped. We paved the way... and then just QUIT!!!???

    Sumpthin fishy??!!

I just can't believe this could be faked in a straight up sense. It had to be planned and done with total belief for 99% of everyone involved . The work the dedication the science , everything is too massive to fake in my opinion. Too much to control, too many variables , too many tracks to cover as with the reality of all lies. So my feeling is there had to be a parallel plan going on, a back up that could cover the real one and used when and if need be. Its the only logical thing I can come up with. Its amazing that we all can't get to a clearer yes or no. I for one can't.

I just go on how people act. If we were able to get to the moon the first thing we would have heard from Nasa was something about how they'd figured out how to deal with the Van Allen belt. That would be first because they'd be proud of it. At the very least you would have heard somewhere in all the reporting SOMETHING about the Van Allen Belt because it is the elephant in the room. The next thing is Lovell I think saying the moon looks exactly like plaster of paris -- a little too convenient. There are a lot of things like that which convince me there was no moon landing. I do it this way because I am not an engineer but I do know a lot about people's behavior.

Back in the 60's we could barely get an astronaut in orbit, let alone to the moon and back. There were just too many technological hurdles we couldn't have possibly overcome.
Anyone can see that the pictures are fake, so why not the rest? The government lies about everything else, why should this be any different. Big lies are easier to sell anyway.

http://www.astr.ua.edu/keel/space/apollo.html (Optical tracking - any lack of leaving earth's orbit would have been seen!)
    http://www.jodrellbank.manchester.ac...o11-eagle.html (Doppler shift evidence)
http://legacy.jefferson.kctcs.edu/observatory/apollo11/ (Home made equipment received Apollo signals from surface)
    http://www.arrl.org/eavesdropping-on-apollo-11 (radio hams receive signals)
    http://www.honeysucklecreek.net/othe...hum/index.html (received in Germany)

(Apologies for just giving links, but the evidence is there for those who don't know where to look. These are not from NASA sites, but amateur or non-US confirmations.)

These signals were reported to have had the correct time delays, direction, phase errors and Doppler shifts consistent with where they should be. If anyone can come up with a plausible explanation how these technical characteristics could be faked, please go ahead.

Apparently all this evidence is ignored by various researchers building 'evidence' the moon missions were a hoax. This is because they just don't understand it - 'too technical' - so rather than arguing against it, it just gets dismissed.

hi nick/ so what do we do with all the inconsistencies? the sound on the moon? the swaying and movement of the bag and flag, the no blast marks and moon dust on pads etc.

    Just noticed this?
At vid point 7:15 top, just left of center, what is that 'dark dot' that seems to come up out of the bright area of the moon creator, it seems to get bigger as if coming towards the astronauts and has it's own luminessence to it?
