Does anyone remember those strange sounds heard around the World? I did not realize they were recorded at a later date but never heard of the reason that caused them?

My daughter heard the sky trumpeting in Melbourne, Fla., in early 2016 or early 2017.

Possible causes, quoting an article published in the San Diego Union-Tribune:

David Hill, a U.S. Geological Survey scientist, said that small earthquakes below the surface can transmit sounds of the earth’s cracking crust. He also said that the emissions could come from meteors.

Other theories include electrical power lines, electromagnetic radiation, high pressure gas lines, wireless communications devices, submarines and – saving the best for last – the reverberating mating call of a male Midshipman fish. (Can’t make this stuff up.)

If it where earthquakes and crust movement, wouldn't there be evidence of seismic activity for those dates?
It dose sound like a very powerful pressure grinding.

Sure do remember them. Linda Howe has a series on the phenomenon over at her Earthfiles site.
I never heard the trumpets myself but that first video reminds me of the sound from War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise.

What I did hear while camping in 2014 defies explanation.
Camping for me is in a Winnebago, nonetheless, it was in the Pocono Mountains, late at night around 1:00 am. I was up reading, my sister sleeping in the next compartment. Imagine if you can what a dumpster full of cast iron skillets would sound like if dropped from 50' in the air onto a macadam parking lot. That was the sound.

I jumped out of bed, woke my sister and asked her if she heard 'that'. For some inexplicable reason the dog did not even hear it.
I went outside with the fearless dog to check it out, saw two women at the end of the road who were coming home from a birthday party.

They were totally freaked and terrified. OMG, we've been camping up here for 12 years and NEVER heard anything at all like that.
They said it sounded like it came from directly behind our RV. They walked with me around the trailer but we saw nothing.

No explanation for the sound. I wish my sister had heard it.

Im not sure why our officials would not try to find the answer? Is it because we as humans have a short attention span? Just like other famous mysteries.... long forgotten by most.

I don't know, but my guess is it's HAARP? I said this because there's no similar sound in South East Asia and HAARP stations are in areas like America and Russia.

For what it's worth, the plejaren said it is what they call the Symphony of the Earth ... Each planet has its own unique sound/vibration...

Of course, most of us have NO idea what is going on beneath our feet & then above us "cloaking" could be going on so we can't see the planes, but hear them?

I found this 3-minute video, which claims the sounds come from acoustic gravity waves in the upper atmosphere. There are natural reasons for these waves, as the video points out, like solar flares.

But there could be, as suggested by WeatherwWar101 in the second video (12 mins.), unnatural causes for gravitational waves. WeatherWar101 discusses a process called "heterodyning frequencies" -- using NEXRAD towers -- to create gravity waves. Another tool in the weather manipulation toolbox!

I suppose it's important to know if these sounds have been reported throughout history. If they are a recent phenomenon, then it would seem to me that the causes are likely unnatural.

That's a very good question. I'm edging towards believing this is something new. Long before the interweb we had books, and I've a LOT of books over the years on unknown and explained 'phenomena' of every type, I've also seen a lot, heard a lot, spoken to and interacted with many people on many topics, attended talks, lectures, conventions, you name it -- and I don't recall ever having heard of these sky trumpets happening in years gone by.

I think the first time I heard of it was back in possibly 2011, when someone, somewhere, posted this video of strange sounds during a baseball game - it was caught live on TV. I'm sure there is a thread/post about it somewhere in the archives. Numerous explanations were proposed, but apparently - and I can't confirm - it coincided with an earthquake.

I'm leaning that way too -- more recent and human-made. Is it a NEXRAD-created gravity wave? I'm going to look into it some more.

I think it could be something to do with our planets magnetic poles moving causing a disturbance with the energy around the Earth / cosmic friction... Sounds like a giant metal machine moving and someone is applying the brakes , or metal rubbing against metal , in this case is energy rubbing/colliding against energy ...
