    Default BBC series "Gunpowder"

For you who watched "Taboo", the new BBC series "Gunpowder" is right there with it. "Taboo" was about the East India Trading Company, and Gunpowder is about the prosecution of Catholics in England.

If you have a problem with viewing, let me know. There are 10 different ways to get the show.

    Default Re: BBC series "Gunpowder"

I watched this mini series and it is very good with graphic scenes of violence that
may be distressing for some. You can get it on the BBC I player. The adaption is
interesting and slightly different to how I remember from history.I mentioned it on
the Texas thread earlier in connection with zealots of all religions.

There was no mention of the part played by the Spanish ambassadors and other
scenes written to make it into a tv drama. Kitt Harrington the star and co producer
thinks he is related to Robert Catesby who he plays.....
