Extraterrestrial Bodies discussed in declassified CIA file

Sorry about the title, just a little fun, it is completely true, but not quite how it seems. Haha

The other day, whilst scanning through random declassified CIA files, as you do I came across the "Content Control Code", a code used by the intelligence services to pass on information.

The "Content Control Code" was first drafted in 1966, with various alterations and changes until it's official release in January 1967.

The manual first introduces what the code is and how it is to be utilised, followed by the "Geographical Political Schedule" a list of locations with corresponding codes.

This starts by listing the world regions and codes, for instance South East Asia, Europe etc. after Antartica the next location on the list is "Extraterrestrial Bodies" which interestingly enough wasn't mentioned in any of the previous drafts of the Code.



It then has a pretty extensive alphabetical list, spanning many pages of the Worlds countries, also included in the list are all of our planets, the sun and the moon.



Again these were not listed in previous versions.

In the forward to the manual it states.
"IN KEEPING WITH ITS PURPOSE OF SERVING A LARGE AND DIVERSE INTERESTS, THE GEOGRAPHIC-POLITICAL SCHEDULE COVERS THE ENTIRE GLOBE AND MAKES
PROVISION FOR THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL ENVIRONMENT"

Again this wasn't in previous copies.

I may be making something out of nothing here, but it is interesting that the codes are used to pin point locations of specific targets, just seems odd that the targets may be off planet?

Thank you for sharing this info. I think context would be helpful, which might be quite difficult given the CIAs history.

If they had a need to code that X country was sending Y satellite/whatever to orbit Mars, they would need to have a variable code for Mars, for instance.

As well this could be applied to remote viewing targets, right? The remote viewing program (what is declassified, that is) started in the early 70’s.

This does seem odd perhaps they like to give us little nuggets to think about for laughs and giggles... Always knowing knowledge is what distinguishes the minions from them, the secrets being a sort of elixir, so they throw us a biscuit or eat cake...

Yes I also thought that they could be used for that reason, but thought it odd that there were no mention of them in any previous submissions or suggestions until the final copy.

Also I have found another anomily in there. The two columns that are displayed show the location on the left with relevant notes on the right. For the planets Pluto, Uranus & Saturn the left column has been censored for some reason. Not sure what notes for them would need to be censored?

And when the planets are mentioned later on in the manual, again there has been censoring with those three planets also.
