In 'Slaughterbots,' autonomous drones use artificial intelligence to decide who to kill. The short film was commissioned by college professors and researchers to warn the public of the dangers of autonomous weapons.

    The trailer:

SOTT Comment: The college professors had good reason to commission this documentary considering the mass murder committed by US administrations and the potential for their use on American soil:

Very chilling stuff. The implications and potential applications are disturbing. (I don't think they are exaggerating what can be done with this technology just to make a point about what could happen in what may seem like an extreme or unlikely scenario.)

Just watched the OP video...What a mesmerizing, scary possibly reality , getting taken out by an "ai", undefendable killer miniature drone. A friends son is doing his engineering doctorate at Harvard in "ai" development / drones. He is a very bright man accedemicly and told his father about the unimaginable stuff they are working on. Perhaps there is a business case for all of us to have our own minature "ai" drone protection squad, say three of them "buzzing" around you like a mosquito, looking out for any attackers
Life is good, almost always !
