Default Regression sessions offered to Avalon Members and Guests, by Will Berlinghof or Bill Ryan

    Hi, Folks:

I recently posted a thread that many members seemed to find interesting, entitled
(It started its life as Past Lives 101 :), but that really wasn't the best name. (The new name might not even be the best, either.)

On that thread, Callista posted this about her very experienced therapist husband, Will Berlinghof:

Yesterday I had a private chat with Bill regarding the question of reputable regressionists, and the fact that many on Avalon seemed to be searching for answers. Here is part of his reply:

It's a frequently posted question — and an understandable one! — who one might contact for regressions that aren't 'let-me-tell-you' readings, and don't involve hypnosis. So I think it might be really helpful to some if you told people that Will was very experienced here.
If you are looking for a good regressionist, please consider Will Berlinghof.

He can take you through whatever you need to do, and he enables you to have the tools to do your own work, so you are not reliant on anyone else. In other words, he is a mentor.

He has had over 40 years experience in this field and knows what he is doing. He does all his work over Skype or telephone and the sessions are usually 2 hours duration. He does not ask for any information from the client beforehand, as all the information comes from the client at the time.

Here are testimonials from his website https://rainbowphoenix.com.au/testimonials/.

Will is blind and I do all his bookings for him, so if you are interested in making an appointment please email me: callista@rainbowphoenix.com.au
I had a long chat with Will myself the other day — both he and Callista are good friends of mine — and we agreed we should both make this combined announcement on this separate new thread.

It's really in response to the clear presence of a number of Avalon members who are seriously curious about investigating their own past lives with a regressionist they can trust, and who does not use hypnosis (which neither Will nor I do).

So, there are a couple of things on offer here.

    1) Both Will and I can do basic past life regressions at a rate of $150 (USD) per session. A session, done remotely over Skype audio, from start to finish, typically lasts for 60-90 minutes but can take up to a couple of hours, as the time taken to reach completion can vary. Sessions are recorded, simply so that the client can be sent the audio for their own future reference if they wish.

    2) Will can also offer something more sophisticated and detailed, which he calls Trinary Regression Therapy ('TRT'). This is more multidimensional, in both its senses, and investigates issues in greater depth and complexity, including what Will prefers to call 'other lives', soul groups, and so on. For more information, please go here:
A 'basic' regression, though, shouldn't be underestimated in its potential importance or impact. Sometimes, very deep issues can be healed which might have a significant, even life-changing, impact on the present. One such reference (provided by an Avalon member from a session I did a month ago) is copied below.

I'm in no way blowing my own trumpet here. I have absolutely no doubt this applies 100% to Will, too. It just illustrates the way we both work, and the potential benefits available.

Bill Ryan is an astute regression therapist. He’s efficient, while being infinitely patient. The results have been immense for me. I’m writing this over two weeks after my most recent session and it’s clear to me the effect is permanent.

I’m pleasantly surprised at the elegance of it all. The method Bill uses is simple, and no hypnotism was used. I was in a state of full consciousness the whole time and experienced whopping releases of fear and sadness. I’m so appreciative of this; the sadness especially was a heaviness I had carried with me my whole life.

A previous therapist had knocked any confidence I had of retrieving memories of past lives right out of me. She presented herself as the authority on my mental and spiritual health and when the session was utterly unsuccessful she blamed me. Bill was the complete opposite.

Bill’s approach is gentle and considerate with no hint of judgement. Never once did he make me feel like I couldn’t do it; rather, he assured me that anyone can. Bill’s empathic and intuitive talents allowed an accurate and clear flow throughout the sessions but he placed himself much more in a facilitator type position, ensuring that the whole experience was a self-empowering one for me.

I was as certain as I could be that the effect is permanent and still am, given it’s only been road tested for a couple of weeks. There’s no un-seeing that, hence no reversing the effect. I’m looking forward to more sessions with Bill in the near future.

Thanks so much, Bill! This cannot be a coincidence for me as just today I entertained the thought of PMing you to ask for help in finding a trustworthy (and affordable) regressionist. You hit the nail on the head! Looking forward to a life changing session

I've been studying and reading up on a multitude of subjects that I have been in the dark about. PA is a great place to find information. I can read and study it and then draw my own conclusion. No one is asking me to believe in one thing or another.

One of the reasons I joined Avalon was to figure out my place in this world - physically, emotionally and spiritually. I was hesitant to ask for any assistance fearing that I could not face what was on the other side. Seeing and reading both threads throws all that doubt out the window. There are others just like me who want to know the truth, wherever it leads.

Yesterday as I re-watched Bob Dean with his wife Marcie. They start talking about how past life regressions have helped them. Certainly a great starting point.

Can someone please tell me the negative consequences of hypnotherapy. I have been told not to use it, but never told exactly why. Is it because they can "program" you when you are in that state? Is it like Richard Allan Miller saying Remote Viewing is bad because you can become what you are viewing? (Paraphrasing what he said) Thanking you in advance!
The way I see it, anything messing around with your "will" or your "control" just does not seem like a good idea. I have no concrete reason why, just going off intuition. Anything that makes you "black out" or "go into a trance" I try to stay away from.
Maybe you have a point here.
    Personally, I'd agree.

Just to underscore the important point, neither Will nor I use hypnosis of any kind.

Although I have no need for regression sessions, I find Will Berlinghof's site with his concept of Trinary Regression very interesting. I am in the process of integrating myself with my higher self. I have a good level of communication with my higher self which includes much more than simple 'on demand' questions and answers. I see now that I should spend more effort in understanding my lower self which is a level that I do not understand very well. I will start the process of asking from which of my three levels did any new thought originate. Also as I write this, my higher self just asked me why should I think that there are only three levels of self. I am thinking that a continuing process of identification of the thoughts, goals or aspirations of these levels will ultimately lead to unification. What will I be then? I am not very sure, but I am assured that this unity is in my highest and best interest.

Just to go back to hypnotherapy in relation to regression.
In more than five thousand hypnosis sessions, I have never seen a subject go into a previous life, many return to the womb of their mother, this is often the limit.
It should be noted that none of the subjects came for regression in one or more previous lives.

I guess I can throw my hat in the ring here. I am an ex member of the Church of Scientology, that has been trained in their organization up to Class Eight Permanent Auditor.
Of course past lives can be handled. But even more importantly, areas of your life that you have attention on can be addressed. I also deliver counseling On the OT levels and Captain Bill's bridge. I have Counseled over 20000 hours over 40 years on hundreds of people quite successfully.
Here is my web site. WWW.GETMOREABLE.COM I am located in the US in upper Idaho but frequently travel to all sorts of interesting places to counsel. I can also do Sykpe counseling so if you have a good connection off planet I can do you too!

I am interested Bill, in what method you use for your regressions. I use what is called "hypnosis", but it is really just a relaxed and focused state and there is not a chance I could make someone do something, or believe in something. It is not stage hypnosis that I do, I do not even know how that is done. When I regress someone, I am basically there like an operator on the old style phones where I connect the conscious person to their higher self. When that happens, the higher self knows what it wants and is not backwards in saying how things are. It will set me straight no problem. I then ask the questions the client has asked to find out. The higher self answers. No need for filling in gaps. The higher self has plenty to say, if the specific questions are articulated. When I say the higher self, I mean, the higher self speaking through the client. Are you saying you use a different way? Thanks.

    See this thread:
...and also my first post on this thread:
No hypnosis is ever needed. In its simplest terms, it's a fairly simple, guided, focused, question-and-answer dialog. But 'guided' and 'focused' are very important. It does have to be done just right.

Hi Bill, I have read over your post/thread links above. It is the same way I do it for the past life regression that you do. The client is awake, just relaxed and focused. I guide but don't lead. The client has the experience, I don't tell them what the experience is. It is the same sort of hypnosis that you get when you are daydreaming while driving, not stage hypnosis. Their own higher self does the counseling. My instructor was taught by Brian Weiss. I don't do over skype as I don't trust skype not to drop out mid session. I think there is just a different variation of what we consider to be "hypnosis". I remember before starting the course, I asked what it would be like in the course using hypnosis, and they said it was just a relaxed state, like day dreaming where you focus, and certainly nothing like stage hypnosis. I don't know anyone who uses the "stage" type hypnosis, nor have I heard of anyone teaching that way. That sounds as dodgy as someone else telling you what your past lives were, rather than the client experiencing it all themselves. Do you do spirit release Bill?

Doing counseling is an exciting business. One should always avoid Invalidation of what a person says in a session and Evaluation(telling him what to think) these are the 2 shuns that no therapist should ever do. Another phenomena that can also occur in a session is Out of body experiences. Some therapies like Psychiatry used to put people in institutions for saying that they left the body during a session. (He's out of his head- He's out of his mind get the point he's not in the body) Scientology counseling, despite all the attacks on the Church on Scientology; was a forerunnner in this field. OBE's which in Scientology is called Exterioration. This was researched as early as 1952 by Hubbard. It basically proved that you are not a body. You are a spiritual being with a mind with a body. You don't have a soul- YOU are a soul!
I did a recent podcast on this subject at Scientolipedia.org check it out if you like its over an hour though.

Specifically bumping the thread to further recommend James Newell. (For guests: http://getmoreable.com.) I've referenced him in other threads about regression. I've recently had a few sessions with him myself, and he's VERY highly skilled.

We worked closely together, and as many of you may know I do have quite some experience in this area. But Jim (as his friends call him) helped me uncover and free up a handful of very old incidents and situations, some of them major, and all of which I'd been unaware of and which were still having their effects* to this day.

This often happens, btw. We're almost always affected, in one way or another, by unhandled, uncompleted, or unacknowledged situations from our own past.

And they're always there, for every one of us. There are countless numbers of them. We've all been around for a VERY long time.

This is why regression is so very powerful and helpful, when done well and responsibly. In these sessions ALL the information was recovered by myself... but with Jim's guidance and non-judgmental, 'steering' questions. Don't ever let ANYONE tell you stuff that you've not identified 100% all for yourself.

I remember everything. How do I know for sure this is right? I remember and then there was light.
