Re: Secrets Revealed
Yes, Sunny-side-up. I too have done the many hours a day method as an introduction, but that is not a balanced way to continue, unless you feel it is so in regards to your lifetime and life style. That's why, when the inner'/outer connection is so vivid, so insightful, and profound I see no reason for doing anything other than getting the whole mechanism of body, mind, soul in the best form possible. Likewise I see the journeys of many into addiction as a reaction to the unanswered call of the spirit to be awakened. It is a call that few recognize because there is so much money being made from occluding these natural methods from those in need. As we breathe we are driven to these truths, but only in the real world we live in, not in any one born of the synthetic world of addiction, enter-train-ment, or EM tech.
I did not caution against any perceived dangers and I don't know why someone would say that about doing such a basic method. (Well, I do know why, but those aren't real reasons for not practicing and mastering it on your own.) It would be a great stretch to consider this one dangerous. This is exactly why I have written about it, because it is so very far from the truth to say this specific one meditative technique, closing off the openings of the most common avenues we perceive things by, is in any way dangerous. Silly, silly, silly. This method is the beginning, even if it can become a masterful exercise. Knowing those who have hidden these simple, beginning exercises I wouldn't waste my time hearing those lies again.
It's odd that you say it takes 10 years to get results from occluding the senses and looking inside. The most common method teaches the 5 muntruhs, describing 5 states of awareness, and then at the FIRST class has you close off the openings while selecting a breathing method that either opens and closes the nostrils or mouth to inhale and exhale.
After the repetition of the maantruhs and within the listening, the soonee-eh (sanskrit), that then naturally occurs almost everyone sees a color, a pattern and/or hears some sounds like a waterfall, a buzzing, ocean waves, etc.. The journeys themselves are varied, dependent on your ability to focus on your interplay with life and your intentions. There is unnecessary intrusion if you allow it and forget your sovereignty at each new experience.
Remember that the 5 phrases are not a requisite for occluding. Your own inclusion of your own words, or not, to activate the value of occlusion should be your own choice. This is YOUR LIFE and it should be your choice. The entire idea of making a contract in any state of awareness of life or in between lives and then having that awareness, that may have itself been limited, removed in your present state is a breach of contract! Do not hold yourself up to someone else's narrative, especially if you are ethical. It's insulting, even to the awareness of a rock, to be held to such dishonest, one-sided agreements.
These methods and many more may help develop and open up our own abilities.
I do appreciate the feedback we give each other and I do not see it as unduly influencing each other's experiences.
