Greetings, Members and non - Members !

I realise some call this Home Schooling ; yet surely the term Education, is preferable ?

I wish to bring to attention, a current proposal by the UK govern ment, to restrict Home Educating, by draconian state interference... ( As they likewise attempt in Scotland, to invoke a " Named Person " regime, to exclude Parents and Guardians from involvment in their childrens upbringing... )

I realise that other countries are all being targetted, but if there are any UK residents who would support the petition, please do so. One of the objections raised against Home Education, often used is " denying Social Skills ", However, do todays' " Social Skills ", within the System have any merit ?

As David Icke rightly states, our present " Modern Educayshun ! " system, is; Memorise, Repeat, obey, but, this is only the same Programming introduced in Prussia [ If I recall ], in order to Programme the subjects to obey the system...(After the conscripts left the War-front, to return to their families ! )

Humourously, I'm old now, but after starting to see thru' the déception after 2013, I'd
find teaching the new paradigms exciting ! ! !

Maybe, just maybe, with the idea of Soverignty, this could work towards complete reversal of state controls

Don't allow the state to retract the right for home schooling. I believe the stats show that a large number of these children go on to post secondary education, perhaps a higher percentage than out of the public system. Gaining 'social skills' can be achieved through extra curricular activities, so the government propaganda is nonsense. I believe Richard Dolan successfully home schooled his children, for example.

Thanks for posting this Frenchy. I understand what you are saying.

The currant emphasis on the alt media is how horrible the students, and parents, are , if a student misses more than 1 day a month.

The student is then judged to be horribly depraved of public school intelligence. They are now uneducated, and will never "sucseed" in the sense of precieved sucsession, by the standards of fullfillment, as set by the societal standards that they create.

It does not matter that the home schooled child knows more, and can critically think better than the public schooled child, the home schooled child lacks the paper of the controlled schooled child. So the system will automatically dismiss them as uneducated.

The social skills of the public educated one, are the most important taught lesson that can be applied, at any cost. (not). The imagined idea of that ideal is extremely ridiculous.

To make laws saying you cannot do anything, but what the society says is proper is absurd. And that is putting it mildly.

As long as you harm no others, there is no crime in home schooling. Anyone who says otherwise, is harming your freedom.

Eff society, and conformity ways. Always be yourself. If you harm no one else by being you, it is their problem. Problem is, they may never see it that way.

Just tell them no. Sit back and watch them squirm when you do. I fell sorry for them when I see it.

That social thing is just an excuse. They're more concerned about them being undervaccinated, not under educated. They want to prevent independent thinkers.

It's time to put lawmakers back into their place as representatives instead of controllers.

I wouldn't do anything but home education these days. I did home school my son. He developed skills in what he was interested In --Film editing--and has done well at it since he was 16. He is 30 now.

Institutions are generally corrupt these days, including education. I've only been an eye witness in the U.S, but it seems global.

i heartily agree. Until they can keep the schools safe, and free from "unmonitored bullying" they have no right to subject my child to hate or physical harm or threats, that depress and cause suicides. The 0 tolerance must mean 0 tolerance for recourse. I remember when they had bullies, they had the "OPPORTUNITY" classes where the behavioral outburst were monitored in a special class on the 3rd floor, where students learned social skills or remained there with their peers until they did. They weren't allowed to go among the other children they might bully because of color, or height, or hair or clothes, you know, just outright bullying to be bullying. Abusive behavior verbal and physical. Also with all the "mass school shootings' and racial tensions with no separate schools to protect my grandchildren as in the 20's 40's and 50's, I think we Hebrews are gonna separate to have higher self esteem while learning in class for our children with "truthful history of inventions" and contributions to history and the actual history of our family in the Bible. It's time. WE are told to separate the wheat from the chafe/those who will not obey commandment. KILLING is breaking commandment, and 2/3rds of our family that rely on the guns/sword, shall also be killed/judged. But right now, Safety first. WE don't even want the US police forces in our communities now. WE have that right to provide our own security, since they do not protect citizens, but corporate property, and shake down the citizens for menial offenses to fill city coffers from the poor.

I only know of the Home School Legal Defense Association's work in the USA, but it says on their website that they work to protect homeschooling around the world. I wonder if they have gotten involved in the UK case. An individual in the UK could join and then ask them to represent them. It is relatively inexpensive to get a membership. https://www.hslda.org/ I recently looked at some of the laws in other states in the USA and then felt fortunate to live in Michigan, where parents are trusted to homeschool their own children without interference from the state. Having taught in the public schools for many years, I am aware of the negative socialization that occurs there, as well as of the fact that the time spent on actual learning is minimal.
