    Default Tutankhamun's tomb

What is the possible reason why several people died oddly after they went into Tutankhamun's tomb in the Valley of the Kings?

Most people die oddly and before their time I've noticed. It's much more rare to die happily and old and painlessly asleep. But maybe Howard and his crew awoke a terrible curse that killed the openers differently, seems unlikely, but who knows. More likely i'd say is their odd and untimely deaths were attributed to a curse, being that most people are superstitious at heart. All the tombs carry curses about or against those that would enter or take items away, including king Tut's. i wonder if you could create some sort of spreadsheet to map out the types of deaths, the time since opening a tomb and the ages and living conditions of tomb discoverers, over the past few hundred years if you would see anything unusual?? I doubt it.

It's much of a muchness really. Like the young king, one way or another, none of us are getting out of here alive!...x.... N

Toxins and infections from a rare fungus that was growing in the tomb. Planted there on purpose? Not impossible ...

I have wondered about those mysterious circumstances. I saw Tutankhamun's sarcophagus in Australia when I was at school and then again when I was in London.

my thoughts are that these tombs have been sealed from the world outside with no ventilation possible. therefore when these tomb raiders/explorers break through they are exposed to century air stale air contaminated with the decay of death odours that are still present today. sounds like karma to me and deservedly so. its nothing about history and all about stealing their riches. death by inhaling invisible stale air particles is a silent and deadly disease.
seems like the pharaohs had the last laugh.
they are all just common thieves.

Correct; But contaminated, or planted with, a rare deadly fungus. Evidence for this has been shown. Begs the question though of the knowledge of those who sealed the tomb and stated the curse, of such information, if they were the ones who planted it.
