Default The fight to keep Net Neutrality

    Hi folks!

I have yet to see a post regarding the recent decision by the FCC to repeal Net Neutrality. Of course, this was no shock to us. The bill has to go through congress and I am positive many companies will bring this issue to court.

I am curious on your thoughts on this. How do you think this will impact us?

I have not studied the subject of "Net Neutrality" and admittedly know very little to nothing about it. But, based upon the proclivity of the controllers through their politicians and administrators to give names to bills, acts, rules and regulations that denote or connote the opposite of what these "laws" are really about (e.g., the so-called PATRIOT Act), I would conclude that "Net Neutrality" is really "Net Bias and Control". Hence, this is probably a good thing.

My favorite part of the infowars links is that they are precisely the kind of people who are going to be hurt by a tiered internet yet they continue to argue that net neutrality(what I mean by this is ALL DATA IS EQUAL and the ISPs can NOT discriminate and charge more for certain sites) is a bad thing and a massive expansion of bureaucratic power.

I can not stand the stance that many on the right take that any and all regulations are bad.

Can you imagine your energy company charging you more to use your computer or fridge? That is basically what getting rid of NN will allow.

I cant wait for comcast, which for you americans is probably the only choice of ISP you have, to charge you more or throttle the data from your favorite alternative sites. I cant wait for them to put a data cap on your services and you have to start rationing data or paying fees to get more data.

The ISPs like to whine about how poor they are and how much bandwidth netflix uses. Never forget they were given billions of dollars to be Fiber lines throughout the US.

    Did they do it?

Yep, wars are bad, terrible even, so please extrapolate your views in relation to this thread, without Latin nuances.
I find most of your posts disconcerting, on most threads, why unbalance decent communication with irrelevant language/inferences? Straight and relevant dialogue please, sorry if I appear to be rude, but lots of your posts are so difficult to find relativity to topic, I felt the need to comment. Focus please.
