So far so good...lower dose chemo so far seems to be okay...we'll see how the day progresses.

I am still a prisoner to my daily pills....but hey better than feeling bad! One thing at a time I suppose.

Doctor homework: Stop losing weight...add calories! And a script of daily calcium which I suppose came from the blood work? Dunno...but that is this weeks work.

I tried to do a post 3 days ago and lost the whole thing! How aggravating that is. I shall try again!

Lower dose chemo seems to be okay for me. I can actually function and enjoy my family here! My 10 month old grandson took his first steps by himself and we got it on video! He is the most precious little guy. I swear this is a blessing to be with him at this time. My son got a job and started last week so that's a good thing.

I have to say that living with this has brought a whole new perspective on what is truly important and what can wait till later as the days go by just too fast.

What I had posted and lost was about some of the research on cancer that I've been doing. Did you know they are using quantum physics to kill cancer now? I kid you not!

There is a new kind of radiation that bypasses everything inbetween and targets only the tumor! It's called Proton Therepy.

Proton therapy is a type of radiation treatment that uses protons to treat cancer. It’s also called proton beam therapy.

A proton is a positively charged particle. At high energy, protons can destroy cancer cells.

Proton therapy is a type of external-beam radiation therapy. It painlessly delivers radiation through the skin from a machine outside the body. A machine called a synchrotron or cyclotron speeds up the protons. The protons’ speed determines the energy level. High-energy protons travel deeper in the body than low-energy ones.

The protons go to the targeted place in the body. There, they deposit the specific radiation dose in the tumor.

With proton therapy, radiation does not go beyond the tumor. In contrast, with photon-based external-beam radiation therapy, x-rays continue depositing radiation as they exit the body. This means that the radiation leaving the body may damage nearby healthy tissue. Of course it's very expensive and not widely available yet.

What are the side effects from proton therapy? Minimal to no side effects, compared to conventional forms of radiation. Much more easily tolerated than standard radiation therapy.

Now not to get too ahead of myself but in the area of medicine I've always held the belief that there is in this universe a technology that I was somewhat made aware of that used physics to heal the body. Several years back I was researching and found they could use antimatter to kill cancer as well! They discovered this at CERN btw. It looks like this type of healing or killing of cancer cells is something they could not keep secret as eventually someone out there with a brain would share it with the world. I'm certain this is only the beginning as well. If they can direct protons to heal/kill cells we are on the precipice of a science they will not be able to hide this for too much longer and I do believe that it's been hidden from us for awhile now. Just my theory ... but I'm sticking to it!

Good Morning,

Haven't been posting much as there is not much good to share. I lost 7 pounds in one week last week for a total now of 25 pounds...and the chemo is taking it's toll. Rather than sharing the obvious miserable nature I've somewhat stayed away from posting anything. But today I get my first MRI to see what progress the chemo is having on my tumors. . I'm trying but it's hard and life just sometimes does not want to give you a break. Let's hope the MRI comes out good and I can at least say this is doing me some good.

On my way to the MRI appointment now. Thank you everyone for your posts and thoughts. I will get the results next Monday. Crossing fingers here...let's hope this is worth the toll.
