No An Orisha is a deity or supernatural power venerated in Africa...
Which obviously spread to the Carribean with the import of slaves.

Look at the OP, do you see any period or coma? Sincerely, i do not understand this post at all. I presume that although periods and comas have something to do with my lack of understanding, there is more. The post seems illogical to me.

That was exactly my point. With no background on what the poster was trying to actually impart and lack of punctuation, it's next to impossible to understand.

I imagine it could be translated like this, but if I'm wrong Kenn just tell me to shut up!

Hi I'm Kenn. I was just talking with my mother, she doesn't like technology, I tried to explain to her how useful it can be to find information, so she asked me to see if anyone knows anything about Oya and her sisters Yemaya, Oshun the Orisha's (manifestations of divinity)

    Or maybe not

    Love and Truth,

A syncretized depiction of the Seven African Powers as seven of the chief Orishas of the Lucumi faith...or..Santeria etc.

An orisha is a spirit who reflects one of the manifestations of the supreme divinity in Yoruba religion. Orisha are said to have existed in the spiritual world, or Astral plane or lived as human beings in the planetary world, or physical plane. Others are said to be humans who are recognized as deities due to extraordinary feats. Many orishas have found their way to most of the New World as a result of the Atlantic slave trade and are now expressed in practices as varied as Santería...

Do you not see how your post was confusing? I was really just looking for clarification on what you were saying. Perhaps Amenjo is correct. If so, great. If not, please clarify. That's all I was asking.

Well, here we come from all over the planet, English is often our second or third language. You certainly make great efforts not to be understood by lack of clear language, punctuation and lack of background explained to us. I still do not understand your last sentence in the above post. It has noting to do with fear or being scared from me, on the contrary

But tell me, why would i pursue making efforts to understand someone who clearly plays mysteries and does not seem to want to be understood?

I don't know why I'm even responding to you, as it seems you are as lost as a duck on Mars. Did you ever take an English class? Study grammatical structure, syntax?

There's definitely a possibility that the answer to that is no. It doesn't mean anything. At the same time, I know you were injecting a little humour; perhaps misplaced.

    Let's get back to topic.

Kenn, you are going to have to be more detailed, thorough and concise in an initial thread post to get a proper response.

If I read between the words, you are asking if calling out an Orisha may be appropriate for something or other, that you didn't seem to reveal. Maybe start with the issue as to why Oya may need to be called, your sense on the validity of that or whatever the conflict you are having really is.
