I believe those that receive that flu vaccine have their immune systems compromised making them more vulnerable than the unvaccinated. Also, those that do not get vaccinated may be more prone to take action to fortify their immune systems rather than relying on a vaccine.

It need not be just a "belief". There is hard evidence that agrees with this reasoning.

“Payton was found unresponsive on Thursday in San Diego. Doctors, according to the post, determined she had contracted the “H1N1 flu and possibly meningitis.”
