I knew that Richard Dolan had been lauding the work of author Mike Clelland to the skies. Richard has published his book, The Messengers.

I'd never really understood why Richard was waxing so lyrical about the book, and didn't really understand what the book was about.

But after listening to this interview, from his 7 Nov 2017 radio show, now I do.

Here's the section in question... the last three segments (an hour and a half) of his show.

Let me try to summarize in my own words. (Not easy!)

• The first thing to say is the Mike Clelland is REALLY articulate, fun and easy to listen to. He's a rock climber, backpacker and map reader, my kind of guy. And Richard stresses that he's one of the nicest people he knows, counting him as a good friend.

• He's also a fine UFO researcher: he knows his history. And he's had a number of UFO experiences himself.

• He's walking in the very large footsteps of Jacques Vallée and John Keel. He's coming to believe that the ET phenomenon is even weirder than we think. He suspects that there's some kind of engineering of our subjective reality going on, and he's discovered that OWLS often play a part in many highly-strange ET- or abduction-related experiences.

• There are ridiculous, inexplicable synchronicities involved, and he posits that the owls that are often seen are ETs (or some kind of ultraterrestrials) adopting a kind of disguise to ease our senses. Sometimes, they seem to bring messages, and even profound, lasting, transformational personal experiences.

• Richard believes this is one of the most important books that he's published, or indeed has ever read about the UFO phenomenon. That's no small praise.

I've NOT read the book, but I found the interview riveting and thought-provoking. Do listen.

I’m downloading the audio now and look forward to it. Only recently, I recalled how one evening in 1973 heading off to work, I spotted a large white owl off to the side of the driveway. I had no reason to be frightened. But I was because it was on the ground rather than in the tree above it. Even when I drove closer, it wouldn’t fly off. I surmised the headlights had mesmerize it. Another part of me didn’t believe that rationale.

All these years later, I wondered if it was more than a large white owl. I recounted how it was shortly after, my life did a crazy, warp-speed 180 from what I had planned.

One heavily foggy night I encountered 5 or 6 Owls above and around me on a little stream island.

It was quite amazing, I had often watched an Owl there, but this particular night was extra ordinary, it must have been his/her birthday bash, all his/hers friends/relatives at the party O.O

This island and Owls is also just a stones throw away from one of my best close up UFO encounters (MY Cuttlefish colour changing craft)
Makes me wonder?

My close friend Mike had a very trippy owl experience. I texted him about an hour ago to ask for the details ( I had sort of forgotten) and he just texted me back...

The first time he saw an owl it was a daytime experience. It was so strange that he thought he was hallucinating. He closed his eyes and reopened them and the owl was gone. He saw several more owls in the years to come

Flash forward years later and he's on the phone telling someone how he always see's owls, how he saw an owl again shortly before his aunt's death...and a second or 2 later an owl flies by his window.

This really weirded him out and he went down to this place called Pazzos for a couple beers. He is telling his friend what just happened with the owl flying by the window, and the friend takes off his sweatshirt and is wearing an owl tshirt.

Strange stuff.

About 12 years ago or so we had at least 5 owls around our house in more or less a circle with one on the roof, 3 fledglings & 2 parents in all, it was only just too dark to see them but the noise was incredible, my wife was really scared & although I wanted to stay outside I felt I had to go back in...

I had seen the three still fluffy kids on the wall at the side of the road the evening before, passed them at eye level.

Seemed like nature at the time but in the years that followed sightings of UFOs, abductions & missing time all happened, along with "shadow beings" & much other weirdness.

If:

1. An ET (or UT = UltraTerrestrial) can present itself as an owl (and actually fly),
2. A reptilian can present itself as a human, wearing real human clothes (without busting all the seams),
3. Inexplicable coincidences can manifest themselves (as if being storyboarded),

What does this say about the nature of our reality? That we’re neophytes until we nix the deeply ingrained beliefs of religion, education, culture, propagandized mystical and magical that’s been fed to us to keep us at base levels of potentiality.

Declutter to expand beyond what you are unable to fathom in your current state because of thousands of years of herd indoctrination.

Open to, tap into your creative intelligence without bias from self or others. Don’t accept, don’t allow group mind think to control your discoveries and thought processes.

Stop the embedded self-doubt. It’s a trick. It’s a program to keep you in the loop of illusion.

Do not squander this opportunity. If need be, be courageous enough to walk away from any and all that sabotage your path either consciously or unconsciously.

This is it. This is your chance to outdo what you never thought possible. Step beyond the dream into a reality you create as you go. Discover and acknowledge the new you every single day.

Pay attention. Listen. Hear.

Follow through on your instincts and synchronicities no matter how small. They're cumulative and it's practice for those unexpected expansions along the way.

On point 3, here is Clelland's own account from his blog of an absolutely incredible co-incidence of three unrelated places where he had significant owl/paranormal/etc. experiences. These three places are on an exact straight line... which is 230 miles long...

My speculation is that there is a lot of "storyboarding" in reality, even if day to day stuff isn't set up like that.

(However, having said that: just this morning listening to Dark Journalist interview Grant Cameron, clicked on YouTube into the middle of the conversation and at that exact point Grant mentioned (in relation to a historical incident) the month and year I was born... hmmmm)

What that says about our reality is that a lot was set up before we incarnated (pre-birth planning and agreements) but there must also be plenty of real-time adjustments and setting things up - what comes to mind is VALIS, Philip K. Dick, that sort of concept.

And just to tie things together a little bit: often experiencers or contactees get information which they describe as a "download" which comes with a strong sense of certainty. Clelland described this in his blog too. But there's another word for this sense of knowing, which is much older: gnosis.

Interesting, really interesting.

I always considered owls to represent a sign of spirituality, so whenever an owl appeared, in real life or in another way (book,...) I took it to be a good sign.
About 12 years ago while driving through Scotland with a friend, late at night, a large white owl crossed us, right in front of the car. It felt strange as well as special.
And yes, most of the time there was "storyboarding" involved. But also when no owls were present. It seems more related to the type of person or people I was with.
A very interesting subject indeed.

I read most of Bill's post and will go on to read the book but this is VERY relevant. As some of you may know, I had a major awakening and all kinds of really, really strange and spiritual things happen to me in 2012 and 2013.

Owls began hooting in my backyard before all of this went down and there was an even weirder experience with owls hooting at a friend's house during the height of the strangeness. They almost sounded like primates, but I was told by her they were owls. I didn't say anything at the time, but I'd never heard owls do that.

This just gets stranger and stranger. I have a full day today and need to hop in the shower to work out, but all these threads of what happened to me keep getting tied together in all this literature I am reading here. I will read the book.

Oh yeah, the synchronicities were mind blowing.

I think that's just it 'Day to day stuff' is just illusion and distraction, it seems like the real stuff but it's not!
If we could all just follow a natural path, a path of our gut, a path of our inner instinct, well, we would see and be in reality.

At which point no more need for: abductions, synchronicities, and owls as tools trying to show/communicate to us. We would be in the right place and be in full communication all the time.

I have to say though
I have failed, I was once on a clearer path but have been knocked off it so many times now
I find myself a burnt out wreak in many ways.
But still seeing UFO's here and there, so maybe is hope for me.

I have to say, the first thing I do when I go out side is look up and around, and carry on doing so all day and night.

The topic of "owl" showed up in one of my rarely "deep" meditations. I witnessed myself, without a visual, talking with someone I could not see. I asked a rhetorical question "My animal by day is the hawk and by night is the owl." A hidden voice replied "Your animal is the owl."

There is more to that story. Confirmation by synchronicity hours later.

I, too, think that storyboarding thing is very relevant. And it connects to that straight line of truth which Mark Passio so eloquently speaks of. Somehow, if you stay pure, stay in the moment, follow your heart, get rid of fear and trust your instinct, you hit that line and then your life becomes mind blowing. All of this, as those who know, know, is very difficult to explain. I kept a journal during my "hero's journey" and can easily piece the whole thing together if I just sit down and put my mind and time to it.

This is the first I have heard of the owl tie-in and I always felt I was being watched when I heard them. It was pretty unnerving. Also, my Mom died during that time frame and I got her drawing of an owl (hanging in my living room) which I had bought for her about twenty years ago, for Christmas. I always felt there was something significant about it.

This also ties in to the language of the birds, the "Conference of the Birds", "To Kill a Mockingbird" (got an incredible inner knowing about myself regarding that book) and a whole host of other things.

I'm trying to cut back on my spending but I am going to have to get that book. Incredible.

This sounds like good show and listening. I've lived in Las Vegas almost 20 years and never seen an Owl here. A few years ago I saw a Hawk for the first time. It was huge and sitting on my backyard brick wall eating a smaller bird.

Mike, great to hear from you. And yes, I remember now!
I was on my feet, walking around, when I was listening to your excellent interview with Rich. When you got to the part about Kenneth Arnold and the owl that he'd found and rescued, I literally stopped physically in my tracks, like a statue. It was like a bad scene from a movie.

I too had exactly the same experience, back in the early 90s. I took care of the injured owl, until it flew away of its own accord three weeks later.

As you know, I'm an abductee, but my only experience (that I know of) was a decade earlier.

What does all this mean? You and Rich described the brainscrambler perfectly. It's like someone reaching into the fishpond and meddling deliberately (and very finely and precisely) with our reality — for an unknown purpose.

You may know this, but Michael Talbot, the author of the seminal HOLOGRAPHIC UNIVERSE, got the deep theme for much of his book from ET communications he was receiving. Talbot worked with Budd Hopkins on all this, and after Talbot's death (fairly soon after the book was published) Hopkins told this to Linda Howe, who made it public only (I believe) in the last year or two.

Wow. Talk about Secrets of the Universe.

You had a wounded owl? All very strange. In the upcoming book (due out shortly) I go thru the life of Kenneth Arnold and speculate that he *might* have been an abductee.

Man I have so many owls storys I wouldn't know where to begin as they all seem important to me on so many levels that picking one is hard to do..from the giant owls to the baby owls that would land on the ground and walk around me..have you ever seen a owl walk??..to my wife watching an owl get hit by car..stoping to check on it..held it as it died then brings it back home so I could bury it to me opening its wings and finding a dead praying mantis inside..i buried both.Owls have visited me since from childhood to preasant day
