    Default FISA Memo Released (US House of Representatives report, 2 Feb 2018)

    Trump approves release of congressional memo critical of FBI

    Published time: 2 Feb, 2018 16:56 Edited time: 2 Feb, 2018 17:42

    President Donald Trump

    President Donald Trump has approved declassification of the memo that is said to reveal FBI surveillance abuses. It's now up to House Intelligence Committee to make it public.
    A four-page memorandum commissioned by Representative Devin Nunes (R-California), chair of the House Intelligence Committee, is to be made public over the objections of Democrats, the FBI and the Department of Justice.

    "I think it's terrible, if you want to know the truth," Trump said at the White House on Friday, after sending the memo back to Congress. “I think it’s a disgrace."
    “A lot of people should be ashamed of themselves, and much worse than that,” Trump added. “Let’s see what happens.”

    Trump’s green light on FBI memo risks sparking ‘constitutional crisis’ – ex-CIA chief Panetta

    The committee voted to make the classified memo public on Monday, with every single Democrat opposed. President Donald Trump had five days to approve or veto the publication.

    The memo, commissioned by the Republican staff of the House Intelligence Committee, supposedly contains information on surveillance violations by the FBI and the Department of Justice. It is alleged the FBI sought a warrant to spy on President Donald Trump's associates, without disclosing that its motivation for doing so was based on the infamous Trump-Russia dossier, also known as the Steele dossier, and funded by Hillary Clinton's campaign as opposition research against Trump.

    One of the key points of the memo, as reported by the Washington Examiner on Friday, are that the dossier put together by ex-British spy Christopher Steele formed an essential part of the initial FISA application to spy on Trump campaign adviser Carter Page, and all three renewal applications.

    Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe confirmed that without the dossier, there would have been no FISA warrant request. The political origins of the dossier were known to senior officials at the DOJ and the FBI, but was not mentioned in the FISA applications, according to the Examiner.

    Trump: Leadership of FBI & Justice Dept politicized investigative process in favor of Democrats

    Published time: 2 Feb, 2018 11:40 Edited time: 2 Feb, 2018 12:47

    United States President Donald Trump

    US President Donald Trump has lashed out at the leadership and investigators at the FBI and the Justice Department, saying that they politicized “the sacred investigative process” in favor of Democrats and against Republicans.

    The president attacked both authorities on Twitter by saying that their political bias is “something which would have been unthinkable just a short time ago.”
    Trump’s accusations come just as the White House is expected to release a secret memo alleging FBI bias against the US president in the probe into alleged collusion between Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and Russia. On Monday night, the House Intelligence Committee approved the public release of the memo.

    The document reportedly contains information on surveillance violations by both the agencies. It is alleged the FBI sought a warrant to spy on then-presidential candidate Trump's associates, without disclosing that its decision was based on the Trump-Russia dossier, also known as the Steele dossier, funded by Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

    The FBI has objected to the memo’s release, expressing “grave concerns about material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memo’s accuracy.” DOJ warned that the release could “harm national security”.

    House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, who commissioned the memo, described the objections to the paper’s release as “spurious.”
    Having stonewalled Congress' demands for information for nearly a year, it's no surprise to see the FBI and DOJ issue spurious objections to allowing the American people to see information related to surveillance abuses at these agencies,” Nunes said earlier this week.

    FBI Director Christopher Wray was reportedly "shocked to his core" by the memo’s contents, once shown the document on Sunday. Shortly after that, Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe announced he would be stepping down, taking all his leave until his retirement in March.

    As just reported on ZeroHedge, FISA Memo Released: Here's What It Says, the US House of Representatives Select Committee on Intelligence has just released the controversial 4 page memo summarizing it's findings in the abuse by high level officials in the US Dept of Justice in former President Obama's administration, taking advantage of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court, to spy on Presidential candidate, then President-elect, Trump.

    Bluestflame has already posted this just released memo on the Conspiracy Research sub-forum The Q posts, and a “Very Bad Day” Scenario -- Post #2259, and ExomatrixTV has posted that Trump approves release of congressional memo critical of FBI, also in the Conspiracy Research sub-forum.

    The actual publication of this memo deserves a thread in the Political sub-forum in my view, as this has moved from conspiracy (aka non-mainstream) to political reality.

    .
    Here's what ZeroHedge wrote in the opening words of his FISA Memo Released report regarding this 4 page FISA memo:

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    The just released FISA memo accuses senior officials at the DOJ of inappropriately using biased opposition research into then-candidate Trump to obtain surveillance warrants on transition team members as part of the federal investigation into the Trump campaign and Russia.
    According to the document, information from the the so-called Steele dossier was "essential" to the acquisition of surveillance warrants on Trump campaign aide Carter Page. It claims that then-deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe told the committee in December that without the information from the Steele dossier, no surveillance warrant for Page would have been sought.
    The memo alleges that the political origins of the dossier — paid for by Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) — were not disclosed to the clandestine court that signed off on the warrant request.
    The document claims that although the FBI had "clear evidence" that the author of the dossier, former British spy Christopher Steele, was biased against Trump, it did not convey that to the surveillance court when making its warrant applications. Steele told then-associate deputy attorney general Bruce Ohr that he was "desperate that Donald Trump not get elected and was passionate about him not being president," the memo says.
    House conservatives have touted the memo's revelations as “worse than Watergate” and hinted that it could prove the undoing of the federal investigation into Trump’s campaign. Meanwhile, Democrats on the panel say that it is a cherry-picked set of inaccurate accusations designed to kneecap special counsel Robert Mueller. They have drafted their own counter-memo to rebut the Republican-drafted document, but the majority voted against immediately making that document public earlier this week.
    The memo is based on a slate of highly-classified materials provided to the committee by the Justice Department itself, in a closed-door deal brokered by Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.).
    Naturally, the DOJ has claimed that the release of the memo is an abrogation of the terms of that deal, an assertion spokesmen for both Ryan and Nunes have rejected.
    Meanwhile, the underlying evidence remains classified, a state of affairs that Democrats and some national security analysts say makes it impossible to independently verify the memo’s conclusions.
    As The Hill reported earlier, ahead of the document's release, Paul Ryan privately urged House Republicans not to overplay the document — and not to tie it to the Mueller investigation.
    I am so far unable to download and share here a full copy of the 4 page memo (pdf), as it seems that the US House of Representatives website that has this memo is overloaded. So far, I only have 1.7 out of 2.9 Mbytes of the pdf from the US government website.
    I did however find what appears to be a copy of the memo (4 page memo plus 2 cover pages) on another website, in a post over at https://whdh.com/news/house-republicans-release-partisan-memo-alleging-fbi-abused-surveillance-in-russia-probe/, and have made a copy on my server: FISA_Memo_HMTG-115-IG00-20180129-SD001.pdf
    From Jim Stone:
    HERE IS THE MEMO. Due to the fact it was released in an inefficient format, government servers are crashing.
    I rendered it to a file size 8 percent of that of the original, so share this one. I don't think my servers will have problems, (I have many to put this on.) It will be worth it to blow secrets over this if need be.
    One sentence summary: All this does is prove Trump has no ties to Russia, and that people acted illegally against the Trump campaign. Yes, it is worse than watergate but I think this has been white washed anyway. Wait for tweets to see if it is complete or not. Sit on Twitter for all the representatives and see if they post anything about this being redacted. (you are going to have to be vigilant because Twitter will work overtime to bury any tweets about this not being complete.) Also keep an eye on any other social platforms.
    To save this, click here and you will get a file that is still very small, but as clear as the original posted by the white house. If you want to serve it somewhere else from this web site, use the one that is showing on the front page.
    If you prefer to listen to Alex Jones read (with his editorial comments, as you might expect of him) the contents of this 4 page memo, go to the 19m8s mark of this Alex Jones video.
    P.S. -- Update -- I was tricked by a Youtube title again, which claimed that Alex read the FULL memo. Alex Jones reads parts, intermingled with his editorializing ... but more his words, and not entirely an actual reading of the memo. Sorry .
    P.S. -- Update -- Here's a more straight forward reading of the 4 page memo. The actual reading starts at the 4 min 29 sec mark.
    I've got a strange feeling this is going to be a flat tire story. Nothing is going to happen, the show must go on and people must continue paying taxes to this slave system.
    Something really needs to fall from the sky and make serious changes
    Thanks, Paul. While we wait, I'll add this 50 sec. clip:
    UPDATE: Oops, I'm late adding. I got side tracked reading Fidel Castro's Son Commits Suicide.
    Meanwhile, besides this suicide (was it really a suicide?),
    • the crash of a train containing most of the Republicans in Congress with a garbage truck is already old news,
    • the biggest sports day of the year in the US, the Superbowl of Football, comes in two days,
    • the cryptocurrency markets have crashed to less than half their peaks of a few weeks ago, and
    • we've just seen THE most important indicator, in my view, of an imminent monetary/financial collapse, a collapse of the US Ten Year Treasury Note price (yields shot up from 2.65% to 2.84% this week).
    ... so what are we not supposed to notice ... perhaps human organ and human children harvesting, perhaps the major treason of Uranium One (Clinton's and others taking bribes, stealing land and murding those in their way, to provide 20% of US Uranium to Russia), perhaps a trail of murders, treasons, wars, genocides, extending back decades at least, perhaps the toxins in our food, water, medicines, and air, perhaps the generations of lies, deceit, fraud and propaganda, ...
    I've got a strange feeling this is going to be a flat tire story. Nothing is going to happen, the show must go on and people must continue paying taxes to this slave system.
    Something really needs to fall from the sky and make serious changes
    If this "FISA Memo" show does seem to go on, it could be that it's doing it's job of distracting us from more serious crimes, by more powerful people. Perhaps some high level Dept of Justice officials such as McCabe, Comey, Yates, Boente, Rosenstein, and Ohr have become the "cut-outs", the one's who are getting thrown under the bus, to protect their bosses from more serious charges.
    The Best Explanation of What the FISA Memo Says,
    What It Means and How Mueller Will Be Destroyed
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doOztgjJBdY
    Published on 2 Feb 2018
    We told you so! Mueller's toast. Nunes is a hero and Trump . . . well, he's a genius.
    What a grand day for liberty-loving patriots and a dour day for the fetid and olid
    Deep State. Bwahahahahaha!
    The Nunes FISA memo release accuses senior officials at the DOJ of inappropriately
    using biased opposition research into then-candidate Trump to obtain surveillance
    warrants on transition team members as part of the federal investigation into the
    Trump campaign and Russia, ZeroHedge reports.
    According to the document, information from the the so-called Steele dossier was
    "essential" to the acquisition of surveillance warrants on Trump campaign aide Carter
    Page. It claims that then-deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe told the committee in
    December that without the information from the Steele dossier, no surveillance warrant
    for Page would have been sought.
    The memo alleges that the political origins of the dossier — paid for by Hillary Clinton
    and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) — were not disclosed to the clandestine
    court that signed off on the warrant request.
    So the whole Russia red herring thing has blown up in the Dem's face. Can't say I'm too upset. What they should be doing is tracing all the ties and conflicts of interest with Israel, on both sides of the aisle.
    I was reading the comments on 2nd article. Someone posted this -- "He's bluffing on a busted flush and everyone knows it. This is just the FIRST memo."
    I questioned if: 1) it was a suicide 2) and the timing.
    Great recap summary and a visual reminder of how/why it eats up my time. The only way I can stop is to shut down the computer. I don't know how people stay on top of it all, with family life, work and personal study.
    Yes, exciting times. I prefer quietude. I'm still working out how not to be seduced by it all.
