We'll,have to agree to disagree on this one. I feel that meds that create calm, eliminate intrusive dream states and allow a person some measure of dignity beat forcing all sorts of terrible measure to control the individual through force. Would you deny insulin for a diabetic as well?

Firstly --- I am making a nuanced observation about the possible objective reality or partially objective reality we ALL experience while dreaming.

I am further suggesting that an intrusion of REM sleep into waking state explains schizophrenia. The slippage between one state and the other, so dream and the mundane combine to create Hellish confusion, panic, disorientation and trauma can be treated in a compassionate way now by a new class of medications.

These meds seem to work by hardening mental filters so slippage isn't as likely to occur.

People who experience mystical visions, who can channel, etc...likely are more open as well. It can be a real positive. It can also be very scary if you are accessed, due to weakened filtering mechanism by objectively real entities, be it supernatural, extra terrestrial, elfin or governmental.

I am wondering if medication to harden the filtering process might help prevent access to the targeted individual, as well. I wonder too if people who are more open are more likely to be targeted.

A blanket condemnation of all psychiatric meds to help schizophrenic patients who are living lives of terror, isn't a balanced or humane point of view, in my opinion.

I feel very sorry for the targeted community and am just putting this out there for consideration.
