I am of the opinion these people should compete for the Darwin Award:

The City of Paris goes full stupid – considers climate lawsuit over flooding

Anthony Watts Watts Up With That?
    Tue, 06 Feb 2018 14:28 UTC

From The stupid, it burns! department, comes this FUBAR press release from Bill McKibben's 350.org. Of course, these idiots don't think to check history for flooding there, because, well, that would be inconvenient.

Paris explores climate lawsuit against fossil fuel companies
Paris, France - The City of Paris decided today to explore possibilities to sue the fossil fuel industry for causing climate damages, following the example of New York and other US cities.

The city council also decided to lobby other major cities such as London to ban fossil fuels from their investments through the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, of which the mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo is president. The council also announced that it will release an update on the progress that has been made since it pledged to divest from fossil fuels in 2015.
"It's fantastic news that cities like New York and Paris are stepping up to protect their citizens and hold fossil fuel corporations accountable for the harm they cause. This is a major breakthrough for divestment campaigners around the world that have been pushing cities to take a stand against the polluters wrecking our climate," comments 350.org France Campaigner Clémence Dubois. Fossil fuel companies like Total, Shell, BP, and Exxon are the driving forces behind more and more severe flooding and summer heat waves in Paris, as well as droughts, wildfires, unpredictable seasons and rising sea levels hitting people across the globe."

This winter, Paris has been hit once more by severe flooding, which the mayor said was, alongside recent summer heat waves 'clearly a question of the town adapting to climate change'. Studies found that the flooding that submerged Paris in May 2016 was made almost twice as likely by human-made climate change.

On 10th January, the mayor of New York City Bill de Blasio announced that the city will divest its $191 billion pension funds from fossil fuels and that it has filed a lawsuit against BP, Shell, ExxonMobil, Chevron and ConocoPhillips for climate damages.

The moves by New York and Paris, paired with mayor Hidalgo's pledge to increase efforts to persuade other major cities to divest, raises the pressure on the London where mayor Sadiq Khan has so far disappointed campaigners to take a strong stand against the fossil fuel industry and deliver on his election pledge to divest London City Hall.

Major cities such as Sydney and Cape Town as well as numerous European capitals including Berlin, Oslo, Copenhagen and Stockholm have already pledged to ban fossil fuels from their investments.

The divestment campaign to get public institutions to cut their financial ties to the fossil fuel industry started in 2012 with the aim to erode public acceptance for the companies most responsible for causing the climate crisis. To date, over 800 institutions including universities, faith and medical groups, the heirs to the Rockefeller oil fortune have taken steps to divest.

Building on these achievements, the Fossil Free campaign is gearing up to launch a new wave of local action around the world to keep fossil fuels in the ground and accelerate the shift to community-controlled renewable energy.

"The Fossil Free movement is taking things to the next level in 2018," said May Boeve, 350.org Executive Director.

"Building off the global fossil fuel divestment movement, which successfully led over 800 institutions to divest over $6 trillion in assets from fossil fuel companies, we're kicking into high-gear supporting local campaigns around the world working towards a world free from fossil fuels and enacting a swift and fair transition towards renewable energies for all. It is high time for governments worldwide to follow the people's demand for a fossil free world."
The full text of the motion (in French) can be found here.

We covered this insanity of blaming climate change before on WUWT, and really, one picture IS worth a thousand words:

On a previous thread, WUWT regular TonyB contributed this comment:
Here is a google translate of the weather in Paris during January 1910

    https://translate.google.co.uk/trans...10&prev=search

It shows the Metro flooded and numerous other interesting pictures of the city under water.

However what is most interesting is that it says it was only the second worst flooding in the records. That of 1658 was worse!!

Copy-Paste investigation: Mueller patched together much of his indictment from 2015 Radio Free Europe article

    Jim Hoft Gateway Pundit
    Sun, 18 Feb 2018 09:35 UTC

After sixteen months of investigations and over a year-and-a-half of the FBI and Obama administration spying on Donald Trump, his family, his business, his campaign, his transition team and his administration - Special Counsel Robert Mueller dropped an absolute nothing-burger on Friday in announcing charges against Russian operatives who sullied the US election process during the 2016 election and following Donald Trump's victory.

The indictment named 13 Russian operatives from the internet Research Center LLC. in St. Petersburg who attempted to "interfere" with the 2016 US presidential election.

    The full report is here.

But this information is nothing new.

It appears Mueller and his team of far left attorneys copied much of their report from an earlier RFE article.

4chan has a thread alleging Robert Mueller and his high-priced sham investigators got all the names and the idea for his Russian indictment from a 2015 Radio Free Europe article.

We plugged the article into Google translate (It's in Ukrainian), and the article reads like the Mueller indictment.

Here is the Mueller indictment describing the Internet Research Agency LLC:

And here is the RFE article from 2015:
For the third year, first in St. Petersburg, in the village of Ol'hina, and then in the city itself, on the street Savushkina, in the building number 55 there is a mysterious organization, which is officially called the Limited Liability Company Internet Research, and unofficially nicknamed by its employees, the so-called "Kremlin trolls", "the Ministry of Truth".

The official founder and director general of this organization is the retired militia colonel Mikhail Bystrov, and is funded by the Concord holding, headed by friend and chef of President Vladimir Putin Yevgeny Prigozhin. Since 2000, this holding organizes banquets in the Kremlin, as well as cooperates with "Vointorg" and the Ministry of Defense.

In the "Trust Ministry", approximately 400 people, who change one at a time for 12 hours, sit around the computer around the clock and write in blogs - mostly in "Live Journal" or "VKontakte". There are several departments. In one they are engaged in the blogosphere, in another they are preparing TK - technical tasks, in the third one - they comment on the news in Russian and foreign media, in the fourth - mount photos in the photoshop, forcing, say, heads of Navalny and Obama to the bodies of animals, and so on.
The article even has a photo of the Ministry of Justice headquarters on Savushkin Street in St. Petersburg-

    © RFE/RL

It appears the hotshot liberal Mueller team produced their report with the help of a report written back in 2015.

    And there's this...

The Russian ads mentioned in Mueller's indictment were already released by the House Intelligence Committee in November 2017.

Facebook previously announced the Russian ads comprised .004% of their advertising during the election.

    As previously reported...

The House Intelligence Committee released a sampling of Facebook ads linked to Russia. One of the ads released was a sponsored post for the Nov. 12 anti-Trump march at Union Square against Trump in New York City after the election.

Mueller's Friday indictment was a nothing-burger that contained information previously reported. They have nothing.

    Too. Much. Stupid.

What a stupid time to be alive.

Maybe there was always this much dumb in the world and we just didn't notice it because the Internet didn't exist, or maybe it's new. Whatever the case, the amount of "public stupid" has never been higher.

Since this is a column and not a book, I'm limited in just how much I can cover here, but suffice to say, if stupid were a marinade and society a steak, we'd be penetrated all the way through this week.

So here, in no particular order, is just some of the stupid that happened this week (so far, considering we're only half way through it).

    1. Hillary Clinton was in India this week because, for some reason, there are people there who want to hear what she has to say. While a huge talking point in her campaign, she didn't seem to have a problem with the massive income inequality there, but she did have a problem with the people of the United States who didn't vote for her.

She told the wealthy people who aren't starving who'd gathered to listen to her, "So I won the places that are optimistic, diverse, dynamic, moving forward, and his whole campaign 'Make America Great Again' was looking backwards. 'You know, you didn't like black people getting rights, you don't like women, you know, getting jobs, you don't want to, you know, see that Indian-Americans are succeeding more than you are - whatever your problem is, I'm going to solve it."

    She's handling her loss well.

What an awful, dumb, bitter thing to say. Every single time she opens her mouth we are reminded of the bullet we dodged in November of 2016.

Hillary then proceeded to nearly slide down a flight of stairs, which would have been really bad for her had she not been propped up by 2 companions.

    2. The editor in chief of National Geographic (yes, it still exists) apologized for the magazine being racist in the way it covered stories in the past.

First off, it's essentially an anthropology journal. As such, and since it was founded in 1888, there are a lot of things they did back then, and in the ensuing years, they wouldn't do now. But so what?

Readers of the magazine, back when it was a force in the world, were likely living in the western world. Presumably, that would mean there wouldn't be much interest in documenting societies like those. That would require NG reporters going to places that were different, significantly.

The professor NG hired to judge their past said, "People of color were often scantily clothed, people of color were usually not seen in cities, people of color were not often surrounded by technologies of automobiles, airplanes or trains or factories." Doesn't that make sense? "Here's a family just like yours, who live in houses just like yours" isn't going to interest anyone.

Putting aside the idiocy of judging the past by the standards of the present, this sort of liberal self-exorcism is only going to become more common as more people with grievance studies degrees and more student debt than brain cells enter the workforce, or at least try to.

    3. Then there is Vice News. Vice likes to think of itself as "edgy" and "progressive," because admitting it was simply a liberal activist collective probably wouldn't have as many venture capitalists setting so much of their money on fire to buy a ticket on their Titanic.

Vice published a piece titled, "100 Easy Ways to Make Women's Lives More Bearable." It's a great piece of parody, only they meant it. It's your typical "Women are oppressed" garbage slathered in a social justice sauce and wrapped in a "WOMEN CAN DO ANYTHING" bumper sticker.

It's a radical feminist's fever-dream. Women are equal to men, everyone knows this. But there's not money or power to be gained by admitting that on the left, so they had to put together a list of some of the dumbest liberal tropes ever typed, each of which could be hilariously dissected on their own.

But I just want to highlight one, the 7th one. "Be kind to women in customer service positions. Tip them extra. (But not in a creepy way.)"

You can't demand women be treated equally while demanding women be treated differently. The author doesn't seem to realize this because she makes this dumb contradiction throughout the list. I'd expect this from someone likely fresh out of college, but are there no editors at Vice?

Maybe they were too busy sexually harassing female staffers, which has apparently been a problem there, to notice.

But I don't want to give the impression that everything was dumb this week, though it'd be understandable if you thought that. There was an excellent piece about why liberals are such miserable, joyless people who are so easily triggered by people who won't conform to their worldview. It skillfully dissects the current state of academia and how these bubblemonsters are bred.

It's a great palate cleanser for a week bathed in idiocy.

Israel Warns Damascus Not to Use Air Defenses Against Israeli Jets Inside Syria

A senior Israeli Air Force officer has said that his country's military aircraft will continue to operate in Syrian airspace for as long as is deemed necessary.
"We're not doing this because we're aggressive, but because we constantly have to be actively defending the state of Israel," the senior officer said, speaking to reporters on condition of anonymity on Wednesday.

"This is the only thing preventing offensive measures by Iran," he added.
The officer also warned Syria not to use its air defenses against Israeli warplanes.
"All batteries that fire on Israeli aircraft will be destroyed. All batteries that do not fire on us will not be destroyed," he said, noting that "this policy will continue."

Washington warns Syria... not to retake its own territory

    Patrick Lang Russia Insider
    Mon, 28 May 2018 00:00 UTC

Washington is concerned about the Syrian government's "expansion" inside... Syria. The United States has threatened "firm and appropriate measures" against Syrian government forces, if they take back a part of their own territory

    Reuters:
""As a guarantor of this de-escalation area with Russia and Jordan, the United States will take firm and appropriate measures in response to Assad regime violations," State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert said in a statement late on Friday.

A war monitor, the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, reported on Wednesday that Syrian government forces fresh from their victory this week against an Islamic State pocket in south Damascus were moving into the southern province of Deraa.

Syrian state-run media have reported that government aircraft have dropped leaflets on rebel-held areas in Deraa urging fighters to disarm.

The U.S. warning comes weeks after a similar attack on a de-escalation zone in northeastern Syria held by U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces. U.S. ground and air forces repelled the more than four-hour attack, killing perhaps as many as 300 pro-Assad militia members, many of them Russian mercenaries.

Backed by Russian warplanes, ground forces from Iran and allied militia, including Lebanon's Hezbollah, have helped Assad drive rebels from Syria's biggest cities, putting him in an unassailable military position."
The position is so unassailable that the SAA is releasing from service soldiers who have served from 2010. Now, that is confidence.

As we have written here, the SAA is preparing to liberate yet more SYRIAN territory, territory in the SW of the country. This makes the Israelis nervous and so they have caused their American puppets to warn Syria against eliminating jihadi and FSA held pockets near the Jordanian border and the Israeli occupied Golan Heights.

Is this for real? Are Pompeo Maximus and Mattis, the Marine Monk, really going to commit US forces to battle against a sovereign state that is attempting to regain control of its own land? Really?

There are scattered reports that US air has recently attacked SAA forces out in eastern Homs Province. That does not seem "confirmed" to me, but perhaps it is true and the decision to fight Syrian forces has already been made.

Snowflakes take aim at Swedish professor - claim "anti-feminism" and "transphobia" for saying men and women 'biologically different'

    RT
    Mon, 17 Sep 2018 17:01 UTC

    © Unknown

A Swedish university is investigating a professor for "anti-feminism" and "transphobia" after he said there are biological differences between men and women. He is being urged to retract his comments.

The professor, Germund Hesslow, who works in neurophysiology at Lund University, was accused by a student of making "transphobic" and "anti-feminist" statements in a lecture - but he has refused to back down.

During his course on 'Heritage and Environment' at the leading academic institution, Hesslow cited empirical research which supports the idea that there are differences between men and women which are "biologically founded" and therefore genders cannot be regarded as "social constructs alone".

The complainant suggested that Hesslow's comments were at odds with the Swedish "value base" - a concept which requires all schools in Sweden to adhere to a common ethical policy, which includes upholding values like egalitarianism, individual freedom and equality of the sexes.

Germund Hesslow, is a professor in the Department of Experimental Medical Science Neuroscience Section, at Lund University

In an interview with RT, Hesslow said that some students, "for ideological reasons," don't like to hear certain scientific facts about biological differences between men and women. He said that the comments which prompted the complaint were not even necessarily part of his course material, but that they were answers to students' questions during the course of the lecture.

"If you answer such a question you are under severe time pressure, you have to be extremely brief - and I used wording which I think was completely innocuous, and that apparently the student didn't," Hesslow said.

Hesslow was summoned to a meeting by Christer Larsson, the chairman of the program board for medical education, after one female student complained that the professor had expressed his "personal anti-feminist agenda," Academic Rights Watch reported.

The university asked Hesslow to "distance" himself from two specific comments; that gay women have a "male sexual orientation" and that whether transsexuality is a sexual orientation is "a matter of definition". The professor refused to back away from the comments, saying that he had "done enough" already to "explain and defend" his choice of words.

"At some point, one must ask for a sense of proportion among those involved. If it were to become acceptable for students to record lectures in order to find compromising formulations and then involve faculty staff with meetings and long letters, we should let go of the medical education altogether," he said in a written reply to Larsson.

In his response, Hesslow also rejected the notion that he had a "political agenda" and said his only agenda was to let scientific fact, not new conventional wisdom, steer university proceedings. "Ideology, politics and prejudice form the conventional outlook, not science," he said.

Asked whether or not he thought the incident had been a "misunderstanding" or part of some broader pattern, Hesslow told RT that he believed the student in question was simply "someone who dislikes the lecture and is trying to find various pretexts for attacking it."

Hesslow also told RT that the university rector had ordered a "full investigation" into the case and said that there "have been discussions about trying to stop the lecture or get rid of me, or have someone else give the lecture or not give the lecture at all." He also suggested that the university could use his age as a "pretext" to take him off the course, because he is past retirement age.

Thoughtcrime: Danish bill proposes 12 years in prison for 'pro-Russia' opinion

Danish lawmakers have gone on the offensive against interference in public debate, sparking criticism that a new proposal, which could entail criminal liability for expressing opinions similar to those of Moscow, may become a step toward silencing public debate.

According to a bill brought forward in local parliament, Danes could face a jail term if they voice dissent over the government's position on Russia.

The proposal, which is said to be meant to "strengthen efforts against illegal influence from foreign intelligence services," would introduce criminal penalties for perceived "meddling" in public debates and attempts to influence decision-making. Crimes committed during an election campaign would entail a maximum prison term of 12 years.

Berlingske, the country's oldest newspaper, has bashed the bill, claiming that it would narrow the scale of political conversation in Denmark.

Berlingske's Flemming Rose argues that the law could be stretched to the point where a Danish director is targeted for changing a burnt-out light bulb following the advice of a foreign intelligence agent.

He also warns that a Danish subject could face punishment for sharing an opinion in the local media that anti-Russia sanctions damage the country or attempting to publicly downplay concerns over the Russia-led Nord Stream 2 pipeline project (Denmark has so far failed to give its approval of the pipeline passing through its territorial waters).

The bill is understood to mean an attempt to influence public opinion in Denmark and concrete decisions in both the private and public sectors as it targets legitimate opinions that can be taken to be propaganda.

This comes at a time when Russia is facing a flurry of accusations from Western countries that it had hacked doping agencies and other international organizations in a bid to influence public opinion. Russia has vehemently dismissed the allegations as "spy mania."

Praxis, I think you Should read this :

Hungary's Leader Proposes 'Stop Soros' Laws Against NGOs That Help Migrants

    - NGO (Non-Governmental Organization)

They are both Hungarian. They are both powerful. And three decades ago, they both worked to topple communism in their homeland.

But any alliance between Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Hungarian-American billionaire George Soros is long over. Orbán, 54, has turned on his onetime benefactor in a battle that appears nasty and personal, at least in public. Each calls the other a serious threat to Hungarians.

Orbán accuses Soros — a Jewish émigré who survived Nazi-occupied Hungary and later made his fortune in America — of trying to wrest control of their native country from those elected to office. The prime minister vows to stop the 87-year-old investor and business magnate who is spending most of his fortune promoting liberal and progressive causes around the world, including democracy building in the former Eastern bloc. (Soros' Open Society Foundations have been a financial supporter of NPR.)

During a speech last November to his right-wing Fidesz Party, Orbán accused Soros of fostering Muslim immigration that he said threatens to turn Hungary and Europe into "a mixed population" stripped of its Christian identity. He claimed the billionaire's goal is to "sweep away governments which represent national interests, including ours."

Orbán likened Soros and his nongovernmental organizations to Soviet propagandists: "We old warhorses recognize them by their smell," the prime minister said. "What we did not tolerate from the Soviet Empire, we shall not tolerate from the Soros empire. We shall defend our borders, we shall stop the Soros plan, and eventually we shall win."

Macron Says the “Epicenter” of the French Language is Now in Africa

French President makes more bizarre comments on national identity

    Paul Joseph Watson | Infowars.com -
    October 15, 2018

During a visit to Armenia, French President Emmanuel Macron said that the “epicenter” of the French language is now not in Paris, but in Africa.

“The French language does not belong to any of us but belongs to everyone. She emancipated herself from her bond with the French nation to welcome all imaginaries,” said Macron.

Asserting that the French language was being “enriched with new meanings” thanks to “the youth in Africa,” Macron claimed that Paris or France could no longer be viewed as being at the root of the French language.

“When I speak French, I speak our French languages. Its epicenter is neither on the right nor on the left of the Seine. It is probably in the Congo Basin or somewhere in the region,” he said.

This is not the first time that Macron has made comments that have antagonized critics of mass immigration who feel that the French identity is slipping away.

During a trip to Denmark back in August, Macron asserted that “true” Frenchmen and Danes “do not exist” and that everyone is now a “European”.

Earlier this year, the former investment banker also insisted that “unprecedented” mass migration was Europe’s “destiny,” citing a book by American journalist and professor Stephen Smith, who estimates that the number of Africans living in Europe will grow from nine million to between 150 million and 200 million within the next 30 years.

Macron’s globalist rhetoric hasn’t done much for his approval ratings, which have been hovering at around 29 per cent – an all time low.

'Are the arrows all the Eagle has left?' Putin quips with Bolton about US belligerence

    RT
    Wed, 24 Oct 2018 09:44 UTC

Meeting with US national security adviser John Bolton in Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin made a comment about Washington's hostility that went right over the hawkish diplomat's head.

"As far as I remember, the US coat of arms features a bald eagle that holds 13 arrows in one talon and an olive branch in another, which is a symbol of a peace-loving policy," Putin said in a meeting with Bolton in Moscow on Tuesday.

"I have a question," the Russian president added. "Looks like your eagle has already eaten all the olives; are the arrows all that is left?"

Bolton, who reportedly persuaded to US President Donald Trump to withdraw from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty, responded:

"But I didn't bring any more olives."

"That's what I thought," Putin quipped in reply.

They're not anti-immigrant, actually. They're anti-Islam and anti-mass migration, ie the kind that has your women and young children gang-raped in the alleys of no-go zones.

Western intelligence network threatens Austria with Christchurch massacre unless it 'unfriends Russia'

    RT
    Wed, 10 Apr 2019 10:53 UTC
SOTT Comment: Now and then a story is planted in the media which pretty much - between the lines, and lies - spells it all out...

Citing the "Russian ties" of Austrian politicians in charge of intelligence, several European countries kept Austrian spies out of the intel-sharing loop. This led Vienna to miss a visit by the NZ mosque shooter.
SOTT Comment: Everyone missed it until after the fact. Except, perhaps, Turkey, which had terror alerts while Tarrant was in that country. Turkey, you'll notice, is not in this prestigious 'club'...
Europe's informal intelligence-sharing forum, Club de Berne, has withheld information from Austria's BVT (Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz und Terrorismusbekämpfung) for the better part of a year now, BVT Director Peter Gridling revealed during a court appearance on Monday.
SOTT Comment: You don't hear about it much because the 'Club de Berne' is a para-legal deep state network that leans on European govts from the shadows and is thus not required to record its meetings. But it's emerging from the Swamp here and now to 'let the govt of Austria know' that it's too friendly with Russia...
While the BVT initially withdrew from the information-sharing club following a February 2018 police raid on its offices, other members of Club de Berne continued to withhold information from Vienna even after relations were restored.
SOTT Comment: Interesting. So this 'informal club' is powerful enough to reach into Austria and get the Austrian police to raid Austrian intelligence in order to pressure the Austrian PM to 'play ball' over prospective trade deals with Russia.
According to the Vienna-based Der Standard, Germany, the UK, and the Netherlands have lobbied to keep BVT in the dark because the domestic security agency is overseen by politicians from the Freedom Party (FPO), the junior partner in Chancellor Sebastian Kurtz's ruling coalition.
SOTT Comment: Meddling, much? Could we say it's in Frisians'/Saxons' blood?! Nah, that'd be racist...
While the Germans are primarily concerned with Interior Minister Herbert Kickl's 2016 speech to an Identitarian Movement conference, the British and the Dutch believe the FPO cannot be trusted because of its "Kremlin ties."
SOTT Comment: Interesting. The 'alt-right' doesn't concern them one whit because they know they can easily influence and redirect that. But all economic, security and ideological issues concerning Russia keep them up at night (meddling in others' affairs).
In 2016, the FPO signed a "friendship treaty" with United Russia party of Russian President Vladimir Putin. In August last year, Putin was a special guest at the wedding of Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl, another FPO official. Austria also refused to jump on the UK bandwagon and expel Russian diplomats during the 2018 Skripal affair.
SOTT Comment: Friendship? Non-compliance with unspoken rules on uniformity of action targeting Russia? WEDDINGS?? Something must be done about this Russian Trojan Horse move to subvert the heart of Europe...
According to the liberal-leaning newspaper, BVT's isolation may explain why Austrian police were ignorant of the visit by Brandon Tarrant, an Australian citizen who is charged with killing 50 people and injuring 49 in the attack on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand last month. Four days after the attacks, Austria's Interior Ministry said it had "no clue" about Tarrant's stay in Austria; just hours later, Der Standard published several of the alleged terrorist's photos from his trip.
SOTT Comment: They got him into Austria, got photos of him tooling around the country, and rounded off the paper trail with him making payments to 'fellow white nationalists' there.
Here's what has actually just happened: the para-legal 'Club de Berne' - Europe's 'intelligence community gods' by the looks of things - planted that story in Der Standard, thereby sending a message to Vienna's overt government that 'we could do a Christchurch to you too if you don't do as we want regarding containing Russia'.

Italy's intelligence services are not treated the same way because they are controlled by PM Giuseppe Conte rather than the "Russia-tied" Interior Minister Matteo Salvini, while US spies are "too important" to shut out and are considered autonomous from President Donald Trump, Der Standard made sure to note. Someone clearly did not get the Mueller memo about Russiagate being a conspiracy theory.
SOTT Comment: Did you get all that? They have compromised Conte (which isn't surprising given that he was explicitly named as a compromise leader when the 'Club' threw a fit at Italy's election result last year) and they're operating against Trump's wishes (which we already know because they sicced the Russiagate witch-hunt on him). And they have free use of the biggest media outlets in their target country through which to issue terror threats and foreign policy ultimatums against that country's government.
    Western democrazi, aint it great?!
In any case, Chancellor Sebastian Kurz is now reportedly moving to put the Austrian intelligence services under his direct control. It is unclear whether this will bring the BVT into the Berne loop, however, given Kurz's recent refusal to ditch Russian natural gas for the far more expensive US alternative.

The Club de Berne includes spy chiefs of all EU countries, plus Norway - which is a member of NATO but not the EU - and neutral Switzerland
    SOTT Comment: Neutral Switzerland!

As working men in London say, "yore 'avin' a larf!"

It's not called 'Club de BERNE' (which is a city in SWITZERLAND) for no reason.
