    Default Watery nose

Ever sine I had bypass surgery two years ago I have a chronic watery nose. My cardiologist has no idea of the cause. Neither does my Naturopathic Dr.

They say it's some kind of allergy reaction maybe From a prescription drug.
I was taking those drugs before surgery so I don't think that is the cause.
It's not a food allergy as I have changed my diet in many ways since.

Has anyone had or heard of a similar condition? I would love to hear about any
experiences that may be similar and especially any treatment that might help.

    Thanks in advance.

Just a guess, maybe it's a polyp that they did not see. My friend had one. It took a long time for the doctors to figure out it was a polyp. It burst eventually and made a mess, at which point the doctors must have had enough info to tell it was a polyp. He turned out to be allergic to dust and cigarette smoking was making the polyp worse too.

Nasal polyps (NP) are noncancerous growths within the nose or sinuses. Symptoms include trouble breathing through the nose, loss of smell, decreased taste, post nasal drip, and a runny nose

In winter, we tend to stay indoors where the atmosphere is quite dry, aggravating the linings of the sinuses, causing ‘nasal drips’, so humidify your home with either specialist appliances, or open water bowls, or water-filled canisters hanging off radiators.
This problem has transcended seasons, so an allergic reaction possible, or potential nasal damage due to tubes in nasal cavity during the operation, I would check out the procedures you endured whilst in health care.
Hope you find your solution soonest.

    There are dozens of possibilities!

You may have to consider an elimination protocol. Which can be a bit complex.

Foods, personal care items like soaps, or even environmental changes can produce similar effects noting we are rarely informed to changes in consumer goods.
Have you purchased a new item of furniture..it could be "off gassing" an irritant. The same with sheets, linens and clothing.
Have you painted or made any other changes to your home, have any Cell phone towers gone up recently?

You can "become" reactive to some allergens as an adult that never bothered you before
It is possible that mold is present or even small insects like very common cockroaches can produce dung that creates reactions. Same with mice, termites.
Could simply be an ingrown hair....or a minor cyst. Yes, even "chemtrails" components if they are active in your area could be the culprit. Canadia, yeast overgrowth, parasites, ......

I would suggest a full examination by an Otolaryngologist ( ears nose and throat doctor) to look for physical obstructions and run scans and culture the discharge. I am not certain what your access is to medical professionals but they are a good place to begin the process of elimination and diagnostics.

You may find some relief doing sinus rinses with a netti pot, and with some herbs until you learn more. I would hesitate to suggest doing harsh rinses with powerful items like iodine, MMS, or tincture and extracts as they can be really quite uncomfortable and should be used under guidance.

Some mild herbs can be useful especially if you add them to steaming water. There are dozens and you can google them.

    Does taking an antihistamine help?
    Does taking a decongestant help?
Does it occur at specific times of day?
Does anything aggravate the condition or improve it?
is it present when you are away from home/work for a few days?

Good luck! And please share what you learn

I noticed the OP's location Cape Cod.. Having lived on by the water for like 20 years in a very seafaring humid environment, what I recall is mold and mildew (powdery mildew maybe?) and it was a non-stop issue for me as well. Not until I changed to a drier climate did I get any relief.

tips - https://www.molddoctors.net/tips.htm (some are suggesting try de-humidifying, to reduce the mold/mildew growth if that is the case)..

    CurEus,
    You amaze me.
You cover just about everything. I have been a holistic health practitioner since the seventies, but do bend the rules a bit.

I am aware of most things that might affect me and check them out as best I can.

Mostly I'm tired of Drs. that can only write prescriptions for drugs and not much else.

My brain works oddly. I remember the oddest things and forget important things.......

I find allopathy has access to some great testing and diagnostic tools. It does NOT mean that I believe "most" pharmaceuticals are "always" the best or safest option.
admittedly I know very little about many modalities but as my nickname is Cure US ( aka Curious) I have a strong interest in complimentary, natural, traditional medicines and treatments.

An idea just popped into my head...some people report rapid relief and by using far and regular infrared light and some pulsed magnetic therapies......as well as electric therapies ( ,like the Bob Beck pulser and Clark zapeers) ...but at this point we don't know what we're dealing with or what.

I would NOT suggest snorting cayenne pepper or undiluted apple cidre vinegar though!!

    Be well!
