Everything about this is disturbing. I am very upset and angry the media is reporting about this schmuck Steven Mnuchin.

His job role is United States Secretary of the Treasury. What in the bleeding hell does this have to do with guns or Steven's opinion on guns ?

As far as I am concerned Alexander Hamilton was the "First" United States Secretary of the Treasury and Alexander used a gun and even accepted a duel against Aaron Burr. I honestly want to contact Steven and see if it's ok to arrange a legal dual and want to challenge him in one !!

Guys there were no crisis actors. I was there.
They were my students. This is for real. These kids died.
I can verify it.

Thanks Mandela and sorry for the loss of all those people I noticed the shock in the
voice of the kids and is why I was concentrating on if this was a real event from
the start and everything in my gut said it was from the shock in the students eyes ,
the media reaction and more.

That's not to say it could not have been engineered or is being manipulated after
the event as the saying goes never let a good crisis/opportunity go towaste. Roger
Stone who lives near by has a son and daughter directly involved with the
aftermath being in the emergency services and so knows the shooting and
casualties definitely happened.

Some witness's have come forward suggesting 2nd shooter etc but confirmed the
incident was real and they knew the victims. Unfortunately this is still part
of the usual fog and chatter after these events as every time this happens it raises
more questions than answers .It has also changed the focus of the news cycles
for the next few days.

and he was on the scene yesterday and told him he could not talk about it except
to say " Dad it was horrific".He also has a daughter in the Broward hospital who

I fear where’s this world heading to really and what are the solutions .

Mentioned the situation on my Bodhgaya thread recently about what is happening in India and other parts of world due to the mass weaponisation and global threats .
This world is still being run by stubborn , power obsessed people most of whom lack education and interest in humane sciences . They’re ‘politicians’ , ‘lineage patriarchs’ and ‘businessmen’ who then dare to debate ‘mental health issues’ and ‘healthcare’ in general which is totally unacceptable for someone without appropriate degree .
These people should not be allowed to be country leaders anymore.

Realise that today’s world is infested with health issues , physical and mental . Tell me of any family or friend who did not experience impact of those personally .

Any ethically , humane minded professional who are not payed just to perform slave labour for some institution or pharmaceutical company will tell you that those need to be looked after, councilled and helped , not just ignored , locked into prisons or ..shot.

What is the ‘politicians’ response to this global human suffering, unhealthy ness and poverty?

More cynicism , more ‘security’, installing webcams in classrooms , X-ray machines at every door, making everyone feeling dirty just for getting through .
More guns and controls .

Violence produces more violence . So called ‘aggressive security’ only provokes more aggression.

Why should people hold guns in today’s world and society ? Whom do you want to defend yourself from unless you really live in wilderness far from human civilisation ?
No weapon serves by its intent anything else than killing. There’s no excuse for letting people amass weapons since they can’t serve anything else at the end than killing other people.
No matter what reason you choose to reinvent here .They can’t be used for cooking or gardening or as any other tool . They only exist to kill other people.

Now every country have big professional army , they may be some exceptions but talking of most countries in both developed and not so developed world .

The same is true for conflicts in the Middle East and elsewhere. Countries like Afghanistan , Syria , Israel and China together with North Korea, they all have been supplied weapons for decades by their allies from East and West.
Even Africa is still full of obsolete but functional rifles from everywhere .

That’s how the war never stops.


Mental issues will take much longer to resolve but imagine this. If the young man does not have a tool to kill fastly and efficiently and he attacks in his helpless outburst of violence the same people with stick ,
they have a chance to defend themselves and stop him.

There’s no easy or fast way how to tackle underlying depression and nihilism and moral degradation of today’s society , those take generations to address and solve . And they require humanitarian solutions , lots of patience and loving kindness instead of humiliation , further degradation of moral values and ‘hard core businessmen ‘ who are dancing on the top of everyone’s heads .

But if you want to keep all of us safer , reduce the global threat , the inhumane treatments at borders and entrances and stop teaching children how killing is some kind of fun.
Stop desensitising them with showing violence as funny or beautiful . Let us to what we need to experience , whether it’s joy or sorrow and stop creating artificial happiness by drugs and forced positivism .

Stop creating artificial happiness in your beauty pageants and shows for the rich .

Ask for advice some wiser , better educated people .

I wish that any of those disgusting ego-maniacs running their countries and posing for media as leaders would be actually ashamed and humbled by this accident and admit that there’s something they really missed to see.

Instead just pretending to be cool and playing their ‘kabuki’ with their own family members .

I wish that the same people would realise how more hardness and deafness will bring us all to more destruction .
And that their sadness being the last ..will be the greatest to overcome

What we saw at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., is no less shocking and horrific than every school shooting we've seen since Columbine in 1999. Seventeen people were killed at the hands of 19-year-old shooting suspect Nikolas Cruz, who was expelled from the school and banned from returning to campus.

It's the type of shooting that makes you sick to your stomach.

You want to get all the facts and gather all the information that you can to ensure that a tragedy such as this never happens again. However, the media has been trying to convince you that these types of shootings where there are mass casualties are happening every day.

It all began on Wednesday when reporting on the developments at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, MSNBC host Brian Williams said that this was the 12th school shooting of 2018.

Ever since then, the talking point was corrected in that there were actually 18 school shootings in 45 days. And many in both the media and politics have used it as a rallying cry to make some legislative push to impose new restrictions on guns.

The problem is that it's not accurate.

There haven't been 18 of what we would refer to as "school shootings" in 2018.

The media is either sheepishly or deliberately moving the goalposts and widening the definition of what constitutes a school shooting.

Of the 18 school shootings as listed by the pro-gun control group, Everytown for Gun Safety Support Fund, here's what actually happened in each of these cases:

1) A man committed suicide using a gun in an elementary school parking lot when the school was closed and there were no children present in Clinton County, Mich., on Jan. 3.

2) Shots were fired at New Start High School near Burien, Wash., on Jan. 4. No one was hurt or injured, and no suspects were apprehended.

3) A 32-year-old man shot a pellet gun at a school bus, shattering a window, in Forest City, Iowa, on Jan. 6. No injuries were reported, and the suspect was apprehended.

4) A Grayson College student confused a real gun with a training gun and accidentally fired a bullet into a wall on Jan. 10. No injuries were reported.

5) A 14-year-old seventh-grade student shot and killed himself inside the bathroom of Coronado Elementary School in Cochise County, Ariz., on Jan. 10.

6) Gunshots were fired at a campus building at Cal State San Bernardino on Jan. 10. No injuries were reported.

7) Two people in a car exchanged gunfire at a Wiley College dorm parking lot on Jan. 15. No deaths or injuries were reported and no suspects were arrested, however, one bullet was fired into a dorm room with three female students inside.

8) A Winston-Salem State University football player was shot and killed at a sorority party following an argument in Winston-Salem, N.C., on Jan. 20.

9) A 16-year-old male student shot a 15-year-old female student in the cafeteria at Italy High School in Italy, Texas, on Jan. 22. While the victim was injured, she was expected to make a full recovery. The shooter was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. This one we would probably all refer to as a proper "school shooting."

10) An unknown assailant in a pickup truck drove by the NET Charter High School in Gentilly, La., and shot at a group of students on Jan. 22. A 14-year-old boy was initially thought to have suffered a gunshot graze, but it turned out to be an abrasion.

11) A 15-year-old male student shot and killed two students and wounded 18 others at Marshall County High School in Benton, Ky., on Jan. 23. The shooter was apprehended.

12) A 16-year-old student fired a gun at another 16-year-old student during an altercation at Murphy High School in Mobile, Ala., on Jan. 25. No injuries were reported and the suspect was taken into custody.

13) Shots were fired in the parking lot during an altercation between two nonstudents during a basketball at Dearborn High School in Dearborn, Mich., on Jan. 26. No injuries were reported, and no suspects were arrested.

14) A 32-year-old man was shot and killed in the parking lot outside Lincoln High School in Philadelphia, Penn., on Jan. 31 during what police believed to be an altercation between students from rival schools. No suspects were arrested.

15) A 12-year-old female student accidentally fired a real gun thinking it was a fake gun. Four students were injured, including one who suffered a gunshot wound to the head, at Sal Castro Middle School in Los Angeles on Feb. 1. The 12-year-old girl was taken into custody.

16) A teenage boy was shot in the chest and nearly killed by another student who conspired with the boy's ex-girlfriend in the parking lot of Oxon Hill High School in Oxon Hill, Md., on Feb. 5. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with attempted murder.

17) A third-grade student pulled the trigger of a police officer's holstered weapon at the Harmony Learning Center in Maplewood, Minn., on Feb. 5. No injuries were reported.

18) A 17-year-old student was arrested after firing a gun into the floor of a classroom of Metropolitan High School in the Bronx, N.Y., on Feb. 8.

19) The shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., on Wednesday that left 17 dead.

Now, you'll notice that there are 19 shooting incidents listed above, not 18 like the media were trying to make you believe. That's because the third incident on the list involving a pellet gun and a school bus has at least been ruled out as a "school shooting," after it was included in the list of 11 school shootings by the media after the shooting in Benton, Ky., on Jan. 23. But frankly, most of the incidents above - probably at least 14 of them, don't really qualify as what we think of as "school shootings" at all.

And of all the shootings listed above, only two qualify as mass school shootings - the one in Benton, Ky., and the shooting in Parkland this week. Everything else was either an isolated incident, non-school-related, or an accident.

Make no mistake, every shooting incident listed above is concerning and indicative of a cultural problem in how people deal with conflict resolution, but, in no way is a mass shooting at a school happening every two-three days in the United States. It's an unfair, dishonest, and disingenuous characterization by the media. Don't let an emotional issue like gun violence prevent you from remembering to report the facts.

So very sorry to hear about this. I can't imagine how tragic this must be for you. I do have a question for you. Many students have given interviews to local news reporters about the fact that they (students and faculty) weren't scared at first because the school was conducting drills around a similar scenario as what actually happened. Can you speak to this?

Students are coerced to take Prozac and other psychotropic drugs prescribed on school campus. How can they be subjected to this in schools with mandatory attendance? They KNOW the suicidal and homicidal effects these drugs have on children.

I AM calling for drug control! I am calling this whole scenario a crime against humanity. Get Pharma pushers out of our schools, or don't comply with mandatory attendance.

Schools are not safe, and it's not because of guns.

I refuse to teach in public schools any longer. I won't even substitute -- not for one day -- at any grade level, and I was certified Pre-K through 12.

I'm sure I already mentioned the student (Oregon when this happened, but taught in Florida schools previously) who told me he was going to the on campus doctor's office to tell them he did not want to be on Prozac.

How many don't stand up for themselves?

I think it's too early to place bets on whether or not this was a planned event.

I for one wouldn't be the least bit surprised to find out the CIA or whatever sent some professionals to mow down random people (and any witnesses), then framed the most unstable kid there as a scapegoat. Throw in some well-placed crisis actors, do the usual dance with the mass media, bada bing, you have yourself another 9/11!

More than the final catalyst to take away guns (let's be real, this is like the 7th mass school shooting in less than 20 years. We're not getting rid of ours guns anytime soon), I think this could well be the catalyst for Trump to militarize America, which he clearly seems to be wanting (I know this comment will ignite some debate, but let's try and keep it on-topic). You know how 9/11 ushered in what ultimately culminated into the Patriot Act?

Maybe this is something that's going to usher in a similar change, one where we have some hellish lovechild of the NSA on school campuses. That's a good way to desensitize a generation to mass surveillance and authoritarian dictatorship: get the kiddos to learn to count in what's effectively a maximum-security prison.

But you know what else this could be? This is just as bad, arguably.

Pure chance.

I know a lot of us have seen the light, for lack of a better term, when it comes to the bitter, inconvenient truths of this world. I know a lot of us are highly spiritual, and adhere to New Age-esque beliefs of Universal Source and Love and all that. Both fully valid things to believe.

But not everything happens for a reason, and not everything is planned, not by God, or by the PTB.

Sometimes, the pieces fall where they may, and sh*t happens.

In any case, we'll have to monitor this one carefully.
