Default Elon Musk launches Neuralink, a venture to merge the human brain with AI

SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk is backing a brain-computer interface venture called Neuralink, according to The Wall Street Journal. The company, which is still in the earliest stages of existence and has no public presence whatsoever, is centered on creating devices that can be implanted in the human brain, with the eventual purpose of helping human beings merge with software and keep pace with advancements in artificial intelligence. These enhancements could improve memory or allow for more direct interfacing with computing devices

Elin Musk saying he's worried about A.I is a smokescreen, hes a pawn for the upcoming Transhumanist agenda.

Why would anyone need a neurological implant when he also said we’re living in a simulation?

It’s what I thought too, Elon Musk was on the stage with some scientists warning about the threat of AI to future humanity ..not so long ago.

The problem of people working in high-tech is that they get absorbed in the speed of development which is so rapid and super fast these days - they are sucked in by inches and taken over before they realize it’s not what they planned, it seems to me.

Looking to the ‘monster belly’ of the technology it looks safe for techie people, philosophical deliberations become ‘pure illusion’. It’s so depersonalised and so ‘rational’ they do get convinced it can’t cause harm, especially till they’re in charge .

It’s typical for people absorbed in tech industry R&D, kind of myopia and extreme yang polarity , to get to the technology they need to cut predictability and intuition to minimum. Once they get there they’re lost for life because they got rid off whole layer of dimensional, intuitive programming.

It’s playing against us and time well enough already, the monster machine of the system, empty of higher emotion and intuition , all that remains is a machine and a beast.

Reminds me again of HR Giger and the Alien movies. It’s the same threat we are facing and creating

Hic sunt dracones. Some like to add ‘they really don’t know’.

"Look into smart cities, and smart robots"

then look into smart meters, smart phones, etc. even the auto SMART (a despicably over-priced s**t box car- it's a street flea- the only advantage this outragiously over-priced car has to offer is it's ability to fit into small parking spaces) but yet people continue to buy this 2 seater loud-motored/no impact-zone/hardly any room for grocery bags motor vehicle- but yet the sheeple continue to fall for/buy/be complicit with anything labled "smart"- I don't understand this for one second-

one must use extreme caution in dealing with anything deemed "smart"-

The term "smart" means "[smart] against user" (=no good for you).

Lots of terminology-twisting going on; once recognized, it serves one well.

PS: Anybody read William Gibson's "Neuromancer"?

    PPS: Smart man, this Musk.

When we talk about living in a simulation I do not think of some sociopathic entity or super-advanced race of aliens from another dimension.

No, I think of the amazingly superb intellect of the Source, who with Eternal Love created us and sent us forth to explore and experience and learn. To learn to know. To learn to love like the Love that created us. To come together again as we always are, but prefer to deny.

And in the final second of that simulation, when we are again joined and together, the mystery will be unveiled and we will marvel at the Brilliance of our Creator!

Musk spent considerable time lobbying corporations, governments and world leaders about the danger of developing AI too quickly before we had intelligently exhausted the risks, so that humanity could remain in control of AI and elitist transhumanism, rather than the other way around. He failed.

But visionaries don’t give up. He strategized that the next best step would be to help level the playing field for humanity. And this is the reason for his independent research with Neuralink.

I know this because I spent a lot of time listening to Musk to know that he is trying to develop a tool for mainstream humanity to have a chance against elitism taking their power into unreachable territory with their transhumanism plans.
Quote INCIDENTLY: For those who are familiar with the Wingmaker’s Material, [referenced in Wes Penre’s video in a post above] there is mention of neurological augmentation in Philosophy Chamber 4 : https://www.wingmakers.com/wp-conten...optimized).pdf

However, the Grand Portal is not easily comprehensible. It will require an educated humanity in the fields of cosmology, technology, and science. It is for this reason that medical technologies in the field of genetics and neural mapping will proceed in the twenty-first century to enable a new, spatial intelligence to anyone who desires it. While this medical technology may seem to some as an artificial, and therefore unwelcome technology, it will be required for much of the human race in order to comprehend the Grand Portal, and it should not be feared.
We are well and truly living our science fiction of yesterday and it is terrifying. Our children and their children will be confronting this reality in ways we can barely comprehend today. To cope with this I believe it is important to start paying attention to the integrity and motives behind those that are developing technology.

There is a dramatic difference between Transhumanists and Musk. Both are about the evolution of our species, but:

Kurzweil (transhumanist) wants humanity to surrender to, and evolve into, AI.
Musk wants humanity to survive and evolve in control of AI.

Musk is a true humanitarian at heart. (When Musk was made aware of an energy crisis in South Australia he offered to build a large lithium battery power station to help and eventually got Government approval.)

Watch his reaction @12:00 when he is told about the reality of Australia’s energy crisis.
Watch his comment and bottom lip quiver @12:39.

This billionaire scientist is on our side. Musk is doing everything he can to counter the opposition of greed and stupidity as well as trying to help transform our world into renewable energies.

His Starlink Project, (God willing it proves to be a success), is not about killing people either. It is about providing direct satellite internet access to everyone on the planet via a “flat Phased Array antenna about the size of a pizza box or laptop computer and expected to cost between $100 and $300”. This will eliminate the need for cable.

What are some of the Geo Political issues Starlink will need to deal with?
Some countries want tight controls over the Internet. In theory all you need to get unfiltered access anywhere in the world is an antenna and an account. SpaceX plans to work with governments on a case by case basis to provide service.

Thanks for this link. I remain hopeful that Musk and his team are creating AI alongside “other” investors not to support AI, or compete financially, but to help show the world the dangers of AI. Musk was unsuccessful a few years back in a campaign to get world leaders to scale back AI advancement before due diligence was done re the potential AI has for taking over our species.

The creation of cyborgs is not quite that, I guess.
I believe that the reason that Elon Musk created the company Neural Link was so that humanity had a chance against more artificial intelligence as a stand alone option. IF people insist on going the AI route, and they are... The theory behind this is, this keeps the emotional component to the technology... Elon is worried that AI as a stand alone, would see no true purpose for humanity as we fight for the most part, rather than working together, we as a collective, destroy our own habitat, we use our precious resources until we have none left, and we essentially, in the eyes of AI, are a cancer....

His platform rather is a solution that helps humanity harvest the ability of the artificial intelligence to create viable solutions to these issues rather than to succumb to them as a species. If we're going to go that route, make sure we stay in the loop! His fear is that the AI will advance to the point where it sees itself as a species, and as such, would also evolve to decide that it is much more evolved than we are.

I am of the opinion that perhaps Elon has already had the Neural link implant procedure done. His mannerisms have changed dramatically.. Almost as if overnight... He now hesitates before he makes any statements as if he is processing data, begins to speak, and then stops over and over as if new, potentially better data is being introduced that he could share. The exchange rate would be instantaneous and yet the link would continue in the background just as our computer systems do processing more while we do something. He even has physical mannerisms that may indicate this. As he will sit there during an interview, and while saying something, stop and cock his head sideways as if another bit of "Data" caught his interest, and he again pauses, stutters and THEN presents it..

This is just my opinion. It wouldn't surprise me a bit if he were to come out in 5 years when trying to promote Neural Link as a viable option, and say.. "I have had the system in place for the last decade, and no one noticed"... And as everyone already thinks he is a genius, of course they would clamor to sign up... And I suppose that would be the point, To sell people on HUMANITY driven AI, rather than something that can get out of control..

Starlink and Musk want to bring 5G everywhere on the planet. He could have said no to 5G as unsuitable for human bodies and freedom. But I suspect they need 5G for their selfdriving hackable kill cars that we do not need. 50 billion dollars of profit in sight with Starlink. Beware of techcrazy billionaires who do not have the spiritual power to resist being taken over. These technocrats were also present in past space opera civilisations that went to hell. Time to say no to Musk. He will not like that because narcistic . Remember his reactions when the rescue team in Thailand refused his solution to take out the kids in the flooded caves. I wish for him to find guidance to be grounded again.

Just saw this video and it dawned on me that this is really scary news. I thought this kind of thing was at least a decade away.

Of course technology (to quote Harari) is not deterministic, but it's not hard to envision the next level of human(?) hierarchy utilizing this technology.
