ThePirateBay.org (+ Vuze as the bittorrent client), for everything.

Connection to TPB.org is systematically rejected from where I am, so, I use this one: http://pirateunblocker.me/ with an adblocker to get rid of most of the pestering porn ads...

    Alternate proxies: http://thepirateportal.net/

you have to be carefull from which country you are downloading "pirated" torrent content, here in germany for example you cant download it without vpn-server "your real ip-adress gets hidden".

if you chose not to use it you will receive a bad letter very quickly and things can get quite expensive.

so better check the legal part of your country first, im sure for most parts of the world it wont be this problem , but better be safe !

or just use a vpn directly
This same was happening here for some time (3 years at least) and nobody could do anything about it. When I say nobody, I actually mean NOBODY. It was absolutely amazing how those lawyers were able to send letters demanding 600€/piece from one movie, porn movie or a single episode of some tv-series (all of the movies and tv-series were quite bad) because there was a huge loophole in law.

And this might happen if you only used torrent client or Popcorn Time once, or someone in your family might have used it and your IP-address was detected by those those unofficial German a-holes in Karlsruhe. These guys are keeping track of most of the torrent-traffic right now as we speak. This copyright trolling game is (or was?) a HUGE business run by a lot of fake firms, a-hole lawyers and those who were somehow in other way involved. They are even threatening if someone posts links to copyrighted material in public forums, such as this (after all, there are some links in this forum to copyrighted material).

Google individuals names like Michael Patzer, Daniel Macek.... These guys are just couple of names behind all of this but I bet anyone doing some research will find this nothing more thane a huge scam. Guess there should be a thread about copyright trolling here because there are so many applications how to use it and it may well be useful against us here too. And I'm not even kidding when I'm saying that.

    Read this site carefully:
    https://fightcopyrighttrolls.com/

Some tips here if you receive letters:
    https://fightcopyrighttrolls.com/resources/faq-men/faq/

Fortunately Finnish court seem to have finally made it almost impossible the trolls to force isp's to reveal more street addresses/phone numbers of those who are behind of certain ip-addresses. So it seems the trolling is over here, for now. I think there was some kind of conspiracy and this was allowed to happen here. No police was involved although all those who received these letters were threatened that police will come and take your computers away if you don't pay those fees they demanded. The reality is, it's not really officially a bill and therefore you don't have to pay it at all. So if someone here gets one of these letters doesn't matter how much you actually uploaded some torrent file, you don't have to pay it or you don't have to contact them either.

So please, be careful when using torrent. Don't ever use torrent or Popcorn time if you don't know what you're doing, at least not without a seedbox or vpn. And don't pay if you receive these kind of letters and especially if you know you're innocent because it probably will hold in court if you're sued. It's their job anyway to show who was actually guilty!

Sorry, I got little offtopic here.

I myself prefer Netflix which is really good. A lot of content and lot of their own productions too. Surprisingly fast even with slower connections. Not sure about Amazon. I'm not sure if it even works here yet.

The only thing I would warn against in regards to Amazon Prime is that any free trial you take up and then cancel ( even if well within time ) is not always actioned and then they can take an extra months charge which you then have to wait a further month to be reimbursed.

In one of the recent X22 reports (posted on the political threads) Dave the host mentions that Susan Rice and the Obamas are coming on the board of directors of NetFlix. That alone is enough for me to not support the company.

When Rice addressed graduates at some college in FL and told them (I'm paraphrasing here but won't be hard for you to find articles on it) - that 'there are too many whites in the field of national security and you know how whites are, they all think alike', it made a ripple in the press but not much since media exists to service the nwo anyhow. Aside from her racism what kind of person dumps on others important events? One has to be so disconnected/indifferent to those one is addressing and be really FULL of oneself.
But then again if you look at what hollywood is dishing out to our black citizenry almost every quarter it seems, marvel comic anti-white heroes, Dear White People, and in August they will be rolling out the Black Klansman, being full of oneself in a divisive echo chamber may become an understatement...

Anyhow I never got much from Netflix. Amazon is a different world to me just because of the shopping feature! Amazon is somewhat addictive, it's like Candyland. think of something you want and in minutes you can find and order it. But that's my problem.
As far as entertainment, I hadn't used Prime much. The two series I did utilize I really liked. The entire '24' series with keifer sutherland. I hadn't watched it when it was on air but watching it through amazon with no commercials back to back episodes I became hooked worse than with Game of Thrones. They also have a one and done series called The Patriot. Dark comedy. A CIA agent gets his assignment from his CIa agent father but the son is having a mental breakdown and trying to hold it together. The acting is excellent and it's funny. Series is probably around two years old. I don't imbibe much so don't know anything current.

But do we need to look at the phenomena of 'being entertained'?
It almost seems to get away from being propagandized one has to live similar to the early 1900's, read a book, learn a craft, write in journals, invite someone over for tea!, etc., etc.

I went without tv for about 7 years. The biggest drawback for me was at social functions, family or otherwise. People will invariably discuss series or movies and I couldn't participate in many discussions. the social factor is one of the few reasons besides one sport I follow to have cable or pursue mass 'entertainment' at all.
    Thx

With all the respect Bill, I wouldn't use The PirateBay. I had multiple friends receive letters from their ISP's because they downloaded stuff from the PirateBay through out the years.. I myself never used it because of this. If you want a quality site for torrents, unfortunately often you need an invitation from an already member because the torrent sites that are worthwhile are private.

I for one been using Torrentleech as it is private. I pay around 70$ CAN for a 6 month VIP access. No limits in numbers of torrents you can download at the same time, no upload ratio needed (when VIP) Maximum download speeds ( I get 25megs/sec download) for any recent stuff, weather it is gaming, movies, tv series, music, ebooks etc...

As for public sites (free) there is always a risk of getting caught in the long run and that is not even talking about viruses and others...

And I agree, Vuze is a great software. I have been using it for ever!!

We use netflix and a vpn so that we can watch any country's netflix. Australia netflux is quite limited. Netflix apparently tightened up vpn security, but the one we use works without a hitch. We got the vpn... specifically to be able to watch Jane the Virgin when the new season hadn't been dropped in Australia. Now we use it to access a lot of stuff not available here. My husband jokes that we are probably the most innocent vpn users out there...lol.
