Default Can we remote view the Austin Bombings?

My heart goes out to the people of Austin Texas. There's a serial monster on the loose and hopefully the police and other officials will find some leads but I was wondering with the talent we have on the forum if anybody does remote viewing or knows someone that might be able to try this case with their skills? EDIT: Just found out there is an $115K reward to finding the perpetrator.

Okay, we need some context here. This is what mojo is talking about:
Austin explosions: ‘Serial bomber’ hunted after tripwire sets off 4th blast

The fourth explosion in less than three weeks in Austin, Texas, appears to be the work of a serial bomber, officials said Monday.

Authorities warned that the devices appear to be getting more sophisticated and asked residents of one neighborhood to stay indoors until 2 p.m. local time (3 p.m. ET) Monday.

"We are clearly dealing with a serial bomber," Austin Police Chief Brian Manley said, adding that he was unable to answer questions from reporters about whether the incidents should be considered domestic terrorism. "We will have to determine if we see a specific ideology behind this."

The latest blast occurred Sunday just after 8:30 p.m. local time (9:30 p.m. ET), when two bicyclists received non-life-threatening injuries after apparently setting off a tripwire in the southwest of the city. The previous three recent explosions had instead been left at people's houses.

The FBI has sent 350 special agents to the Texas capital as well as extra bomb squads.

my daughter lives in Austin , scary ... i will call her and see if we can get some on scene information ... the packages used have no postage stamps , no names ,no address ... she said the tripwire bomb happened one mile from her ... the locals are puzzled , most homes in Austin have cameras in front ... somebody had to have seen this individual , that area is upscale , they would notice an outsider ... she also stated there were 750 calls to the tip line ...

    1 hour ago..20/3/18

US authorities are investigating whether a parcel bomb that exploded at a

The incident occurred at 00:30 (05:30 GMT) in Schertz, 65 miles (104km)
south of Austin, where four bombs have killed two people in recent weeks.

A thought came this morning that it is someone that was making IEDs during and after the Iraq war, they made it across our soft porous southern border and set up in Texas to harm any US citizens and it could be more than one involved...

Hey, guys. I live in Austin, and have been monitoring the whole fiasco closely.

    Here's what's happened so far.

There have been 5 explosions total, with the most recent one being a FedEx Ground package bound for Austin, that blew up at a FedEx facility in San Antonio, the nearest major city that's roughly an hour and a half north of Austin.

The other 4 detonated in Austin, 3 of which were packages.

The first package was dropped off at someone's house. A black man picked it up, and it detonated, killing him instantly. His little girl was right there and witnessed the whole thing at close range.

The other two packages were also dropped off at homes in the same general area/neighborhoods. One of the victims was a young black man, who was also killed, and his mother, severely injured.

The third, was picked up by an elderly Hispanic woman, detonated and killed her, and injured her grandson.

Due to the race of the first two casualties, and the fact that they knew each other (they went to the same church, partook in the same community activities), police initially thought it was a racially-motivated hate crime, and/or, a personal vendetta.

The third and latest explosions changed this, particularly the fourth one, wherein he changed his modus operandi completely.

The fourth explosion severely injured two white young men, aged 22 and 23. They are currently still recovering in the hospital.

This one was detonated by a tripwire that triggered a nearby shrapnel bomb. The victims had nails and other shrapnel embedded in them. They were walking their bikes across a grassy lot in a residential area, when one of them set off the tripwire, hidden in the grass.

The fifth one, luckily, did not seem to injure anyone, and detonated at a FedEx facility.

I was browsing reddit, and an anyonymous user on a throwaway account made a post on /r/AMA.

I'm going to veer off topic for just a minute to explain reddit and its mechanics for those who may be unfamiliar with it.

Reddit is a massively popular, anonymous social media platform. It's a forum of sorts. Reddit is split into hundreds of thousands of subreddits, for anything and everything you could think of. To find access a subreddit, you use this subheading: /r/YOURSUBREDDIT.

For example, here is one of my favorites:

    https://www.reddit.com/r/blop/

/r/AMA is one of the more popular subreddits, with a couple million subscribers, iirc.

AMA stands for Ask Me Anything, and it's a Q&A subreddit where whoever posts the thread willingly sits down for an online public interview of sorts. Most of the time it's just people and their experiences (I survived a plane crash, AMA), but once in a while you get someone prolific. Stephen Hawking, for instance, made an AMA a while back.

The Austin Bomber made an AMA post about 2 hours ago, saying he was the bomber, and to ask him anything.

The mods have since taken the thread down, but I read and screenshotted it in its entirety.

Assuming this isn't just some dumba** looking for attention, here's what is noteworthy from the thread:

    - He claims his motive is simple and to, and I quote, ''watch the world burn''. He says killing people is not his main objective, but merely a secondary aftereffect that he has no issue with. He says he wants to become as prolific as the Zodiac Killer, but has no intention of killing people directly or incur the largest body count as Zodiac did. He said if he had such intentions, he would have planted a bomb during SXSW, a massively popular film/music festival that attracts millions of people worldwide to the city center each year. He said if he wanted to be a serial killer, he would simply stab random people in the streets, kidnap, etc. He says that isn't his style. Mainly he derives pleasure from the destruction, and from f*cking with the FBI and police, who he says are incompetent and will never find him.

    - He has hinted very strongly that there are a number of tripwires spread across the city, and that he's surprised the police haven't made an effort to track them all. He claims he already contacted them via email, and that they have not yet responded. He essentially confirmed this, when a user mentioned the wording of one of his posts implied there were more shrapnel bombs spread throughout the city. His response was something along the lines of 'This is a very strong possibility, but I will neither confirm nor deny it'

-He claims he has no intention of stopping anytime soon, and works alone, so as to minimize the chances of being caught. He claims he knows what he's doing, he knows how to evade police very well, and that his bombs, which police recognized as highly sophisticated, are such due to the fact that he has studied how to make them for quite some time now. The tripwires in the city, he says, generally use basic fishing wire, so as to make them as difficult to see as possible.

    - He claims that he will stop delivering packages to houses in person, as due to the media scrutiny, people have been installing home security cameras, and he thinks it's now too risky to continue this method. However, the recent detonation in San Antonio seems to indicate he's decided to pick addresses, and mail them the traditional way.

    - The houses he chose were seemingly random. Someone asked him about why he chose the houses he did in the beginning, and he said, it was halfway random: when viewed aerially, the houses' locations would have given a 'taunting image' to the police. Probably a d*ck or a smiley face or something like that, if I had to guess.

    - He has also strongly hinted that his next target will be a "very prolific radio personality". Everyone's guess is Alex Jones. So, Foxie Loxie, yes, you are correct, Alex Jones does indeed live in Austin.

In case anyone is wondering, yes, I did report the thread to the police.

I'll update this post as more information comes in.

    -----

    UPDATE: 3/20/18

Another explosion reported outside a Goodwill. Man in his 30s severely injured, but in stable condition.

This time it was not a bomb explosion, but an implosion caused by an incendiary device contained within the package.

Police are unsure if this one is related or not.

    ***UPDATE TO THIS***

It seems this Goodwill explosion was totally unrelated. Someone had donated military memorabilia to that Goodwill, and among the items was some kind of device that detonated. Some sources say it was a flare, others an artillery simulator (supposedly some kind of mock grenade that makes a small explosion like a firecracker but is very loud, used to simulate war situations during training).

Not sure which it is, but supposedly this one was unrelated.

    UPDATE 2.0:

A major avenue in Pflugerville, a suburb just north of Austin, was closed. Reasons why remain unclear at this time. Conjecture includes that they're closing in on the suspect (several drones and military choppers, as well as a heavy FBI presence were reported in the area), from a suspected bomb.

Will update in the morning (currently 12:30 am as I write this).

Thanks for the information, Indigris. Interesting if that is true. Of course it's awful to the victims who get to be part of this deranged game. I would just think that in these days the perp would get identified really fast. Especially if he is revealing himself through the internet then can't he be tracked just like that? He's too sure of himself.

    Looks like he's Dead now.

The Texas serial bombing suspect has been killed after being tracked down by police, according to US media reports.

Two people have been killed in five explosions to hit the US state this month.

Local media reported the suspect was tracked down by the FBI and police in Round Rock, near Austin.

He killed himself using an explosive device, a law enforcement official told the Austin Statesman newspaper.

There were also reports of police gunfire.

Yep, he blew himself up in his car. Suicide.

    The AMA was genuine.

Also, I was incorrect on the death count: the elderly Hispanic woman was not killed, but severely injured.

I could have sworn I read she died, but I stand corrected.

Hopefully this puts and end to the whole thing. Let's hope he indeed acted alone, and that if there are any other tripwires out, they're at a minimum.
