Default Congratulations to Viktor Orban on a massive Hungarian re-election victory

Not only was Orban re-elected in a landslide, but his anti-EU, anti-Soros party now controls a 2/3 majority of the Hungarian legislature.

Quote In the latest embarrassment for Europe's establishment, the ostracized - by Brussels - Hungarian leader Viktor Orbán, who has waged a relentless vendetta against George Soros in the past year, just won a landslide victory in Hunary's parliamentary elections.

Earlier on Sunday, 8 million Hungarians went to the polls to elect a 199-seat parliament in the 2018 general elections, which many expected would see the incumbent Prime Minister Viktor Orbán- and his right-wing Fidesz party - win his third consecutive term. And, as covered here on numerous prior occasions, Orban's campaign had been centered around anti-immigration policies, an especially sensitive topic not only in Hungary and Central Europe, but across the old continent.

His main competitors are Gergely Karacsony, a candidate for the Socialist and Dialogue parties; and Gabor Vona of the far-right nationalist Jobbik party, or rather were because according to the Hungarian election office website, Prime Minister Orban’s ruling Fidesz party has won a sweeping, landslide victory according to preliminary results with 69% of the votes counted.

Fidesz with 49.5% of party-list votes, matching most pre-election opinion polls
Formerly far-right Jobbik second with 20% of list votes, Socialists at 11.9%
LMP and DK parties also poised to clear parliamentary threshold based on partial count
    https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-...dslide-victory

Edit: My mistake, Orban's party didn't take a straight-up 2/3 majority it seems, but when combined with the far-right party, which I assume is also anti-EU and anti-Soros, it gives them almost 70%, over 2/3.

If you’re a big fan of the EU then I guess you’d see things that way. I don’t see what the big deal is about paying more taxes and having your laws made by foreigners.

Viktor Orban. One of the few voices of reason in the dysfunctional EU.

Another fascinating story to follow is the building of Nordstream 2. With the Dutch shutting off almost all gas recovery in their offshore gas fields in 2-3 years, the Europeans need Russian gas. The US is vocally opposed to this project, but it has major EU backers. Germany and the Rothschilds are in favor. Good story to follow here.

Yes, Trump was actually trying to get Europe to start importing American fuel, and that would have been catastrophic to Russian trade, but Europe balked. The prices were too high.

Very glad to hear of Orban's victory. It would be sad if Hungarians were also inundated by the hoards from foreign lands. Of course, since Hungarian is one of the most difficult languages to learn there would never be the threat that faces Britain, Sweden and others.

No, snoman, and I take it that you don't like your own president either lol.

I don't consider it "far right" to want to keep hordes of Muslims out of your country. As usual the left is the one defining all the terms, and they are the real radicals. At no time in the history of Europe has such insanity been attempted in the name of "diversity" or whatever other slogan is being kicked around to justify it.

Hungary INGENIOUSLY STRIKES BACK at the EU

Better than a border wall, Hungry uses a transitional zone to effectively bypass and dissuade illegal immigration, and nullify NGO legal action on behalf of these illegals.

Electoral New HOPE: Italy STRIKES BACK at the EU

Beyond the rumblings of EU revolt by Hungry and Poland. Italy is having enough of the EU forced migration as the Italian people back more conservative politicians.

If a country allows a portion of its sovereign territory to become free to ignore the laws of the land then that country is no longer a nation but at best an assemblage of rogue states. Be it migrant havens in the USA, or Britain's "no-go" zones, inner city gangs, or states that refuse and ignore the dictates of their federal government, once the law is not meted out fairly to all citizens that country is defunct.

But the social experiments decades ago have clearly proved that the populace will remain silent and obedient, allowing any sort of travesty to occur so long as there is work on Monday.

The world we live in today is a caricature of the idea and ideal that most people think it is. We go through the motions not realizing the catastrophe that has long ago been put into motion. Like a heard of buffalo stampeding off a cliff...

That's not correct in this case Ernie, both Hungarian and Polish people have had historically stood up to and fought oppressive governments, for example take a look at the Polish "Solidarity" movement of the 1980's and the "Hungarian Revolution of 1956".

Yet again in 2018 the Hungarian and Polish people are standing up against another oppressive government the EU out of Brussels, and they are setting an example and inspiration for other EU states to act against forced immigration.

That was a really good analysis, I’ve subscribed to his channel to hear more of his take on things. The part where the anti-EU, Economic Minister, the coalition had put forward but got vetoed by Brussels, is now going to be Italy’s Euro-MP minister, representing Italy in Brussels, really put a smile on my face. I love the irony of how that one backfired on the EU beaurocrats

    Your welcome Jayke.

It seem the Italians are itching to "return to sender" the illegal immigrants en masse to Africa. See the X22 Report here:

    https://projectavalon.net/forum4/show...=1#post1227796

Also the French seem to be feed up with the forced migration.

Could be stirrings of 1789, might be an idea for the french people to parade some paper mache guillotines in front of parliament.

This symbolic act might make Macron and company rethink their position on nationalism versus globalism.

Don't get too excited about Orban, he's not what he seems. He may be a nationalist, but the only reason he is, is that he knows that's what the people want and that's how he can get votes. His party started out as a liberal democrat party and he was an atheist at the time. Apparently now he's second only to the Pope in godliness and he's a fierce nationalist that wants to protect his country from Globalist bogeymen, like George Soros. Dig a little beneath the surface though and you'll find all is not how it seems. He is best friends with Benjamin Netanyahu and they have been close for 20 years. He always, unequivocally supports Israel, no matter what they do. He has even suggested recently that the next Visegrad 4 meeting should be in Israel and that Israel should join the group in an unofficial, semi-permanent capacity. He is also deputy chairman of the European People's Party, the main conservative party in the European Parliament. His party is known for its exceptional loyalty and always voting along party lines. To outsiders he may seem like a Euroskeptic, but behind closed doors he is much more malleable and ready for compromise. He is one of the main supporters of a common European army, which he sees as a necessary countermeasure to Russia. He has no intention of leaving the EU and in fact his aim is to reshape it according to his needs. He is gathering many allies now from Poland and the Czech Republic to Austria and Italy. He is a very skilled and ruthless politician, I'll give him that, but don't think for a minute that he's some sort of anti-globalist crusader. He is quite happy with globalist institutions, such as the EU and NATO and in fact supports further expanding them. Also, the election campaign this year was seriously disturbing. He whipped up anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim hysteria to a fever pitch, so much so, that Muslims, particularly women in headscarves are now routinely harassed on the streets and sometimes even arrested. His anti-Soros campaign can't have been comfortable viewing for the country's 100.000 strong Jewish community, though I will concede that Orban himself can in no way be accused of anti-semitism.

You would, it seems, obviously know better and I respect that.

I merely like that he saw the threat to the dilution of Hungary and the burden it would have created for the Hungarian people. I never claimed he was a saint, nor do I believe he is. Anti-Soros is also a good thing, no?

I would have to second Ernies thoughts.

Regardless of the messenger, any exposure of corrupt individuals and organisations such as Soros and the Brussels based EU has to be a good thing, the more their actions are brought to light the better humanity will be for it.
