This is a very interesting video. All of the scientific posts on this thread are over my head though. I have a question. I was an Rh-factor baby, and had to have blood transfusions when I was born so I could live. Now how in the world can they change my blood out totally, and does this still make me Rh-? From what I gather, my mother had to be Rh+ and I was Rh- for the problem I had to occur. So am am I considered Rh-? Oh, and I fit most on the list of characteristics posted in this thread.

There was a good video I watched called "Monkey Blood" from the makers of "Ring Of Power". Took me a few hours to find it on the net but dont remember the download link. It was really good and explained alot of what was posted on here.

I have no idea what my blood type is. LOL.

I'm not sure how it makes people unique to have RH- blood.

    What an interesting thread!
Was "drawn" to it being a O Rh-neg myself.
Throughout my 2 pregnancies, my blood was tested once a week and I had to have the anti-D injection after their birth. Both do not have this blood type.

I found the Rh- Characteristics posted by Tea, fascinating. Thank you for posting them.

The wonderful thing about Project Avalon Linden is that someone somewhere knows.

That someone is MguelQ from Portugal.

If you go to page 2 on the thread post 21 that’s MguelQ. I’m certain he will know. I have a feeling he is a geneticist.

I’m certain if you PM MquelQ and introduce yourself, he being a good gentleman would be more that happy to assist.

Hi all, found this link that feeds into fb for those that dont have fb http://networkedblogs.com/aDnhK. Pretty amazing list

Quote but claims to have been actively monitored for some time. She is very clear on this. I asked Charles if people with certain blood lines were monitored. He replied in the affirmative
Hi ahamkara, perhaps this falls into what Mystery posted at the Dulce thread on Reptons here: https://projectavalon.net/forum4/show...shootout+dulce post 156.

To save you looking: "They are tracking certain blood traits and DNA traits. One might ask your self what - or WHO - would be worth the vast effort? If you are of a certain blood, mostly O- blood type (and other rare blood) you might be tracked......."

I have read as well that some hospitals are undertaking blood type testing on our new borns babes.

I wonder out loud how many people here at rhesus -ve. Maybe a good poll to start

    Interesting stuff indeed.

    W

    What are ABO blood groups?
Our red blood cells, like all cells, are covered in protein and sugar (carbohydrate) antigens. A and B are different sugars on the surface of the red cells. O cells don’t have either sugar
Can I be more than one type?
If you have the A sugar, you have “Group A”red cells. It is possible to have both A and B sugars, then your group is AB.
    Why does this matter?
Everyone has antibodies against any missing antigen. If you have B antigens, you will have antibodies which will attack and destroy A red cells. If you give a bag of A blood to a B patient, the patient’s anti-A antibodies will attack these cells and the patient could have a severe, or even fatal, reaction. Getting the blood type correct is really important!
    What are antigens?
They are proteins or carbohydrates which our immune system can recognise. Any antigen which is “foreign” to our immune system is destroyed by an antibody.
    What are antibodies?
These are attack molecules our system makes to protect ourselves against foreign things such as bacteria and viruses.
How can an O negative donor be a “universal donor”?
Good pick up. People who are group O have antibodies to A and B called Anti-A and Anti-B. These antibodies are in the plasma, the water and protein part of our blood.
We can give O negative Red Cells to anyone, but we cannot give O negative plasma to everyone (due to the antibodies). When we refer to “universal donor” we really mean
“universal red cell donor” – the red cells are safe to give to everyone. The plasma from group O donors has both anti-A and anti-B and should only be given to group O patients
    Pack Facts
The anti-A and B antibodies are said to be “naturally occurring.” They actually form after birth in response to bacteria in the gut
    http://transfusion.drupal.ireckon.com.au/sites/default/files/01%20iTRANSFUSE%20ABO%20V3.pdf
    ************************************
Is ABO the only blood group system?
Most people have heard of the ABO Blood group system. There are also other blood group systems such as Rh, Kell and Duffy.
    What is D?
The Rh blood group system has around 45 different red blood cell antigens. Antigens are proteins or carbohydrates which our immune system can recognise. D is the most important antigen of the Rh system. It is also known as Rh(D) or Rh factor or RH1 (ISBT nomenclature).
    Where is D antigen found?
All different Rh antigens, including D, are found in red blood cell membranes.
    Does everyone have D?
No, not everyone. In Australia, approximately 83% of people will have Rh(D) on their red cells. Their blood type is called Rh positive. The other 17% that do not have the D on their red cells are called Rh negative. The percentage of Rh negative people varies in different countries, eg less than 5% of India’s population are Rh negative.
Does it matter if someone is Rh(D) negative?
The D antigen is very immunogenic. That means it is easy to make an immune response or antibody against it. If a person who is Rh negative is exposed to Rh positive red cells, that person may make an antibody.
    Is the Rh(D) antibody dangerous?
An Rh(D) negative person, with an Rh(D) antibody, will destroy any Rh(D) positive red cells during a transfusion. This could lead to transfusion reactions. Therefore only Rh negative blood should be given to Rh negative people except in extreme circumstances. An Rh(D) negative woman with an Rh(D) antibody may have problems during pregnancy if the baby is Rh(D)positive
Can we prevent Rh(D) negative patients developing an Rh(D) antibody?
Yes. Never give Rh(D) positive red cells to these patients. Sometimes a patient’s blood group is not known or has not yet been tested eg in an emergency. At such times group O Rh(D) negative red cells are used. This will be given until the patient’s blood group can be determined. Group O Rh(D) negative is the universal red cell donor.
How can we work out someone’s Rh(D) type?
There are several tests available which take the patient’s red cells and mix them with antibodies which attach to Rh(D). If there is a strong reaction, the patient is Rh(D) positive. No reaction means negative. Rarely there is a weak reaction. This is called “weak D”.
What is weak D? The D protein is made up of several building blocks. If one or more of these building blocks are missing or changed, the antibodyreaction is not very strong. In true Rh(D) negative people, there is no D protein at all.
Rh used to be called “Rhesus” and was named after a species of monkey

Yes how do we start a poll? Some of us RH Neg. struggle with these 3D technicalities . Was there an estimation of 15% of the population being this? And some say about 15% can't be mind controlled. Are we the awkward bolshie squad? Not easily led or influenced in these times? Food for thought.
