Well, one of the immediate consequence is that any one thinking about providing their nation with some kind of "Iron Dome" will line up at the Russian war wares counters... efficient, effective, simple, cheap and locals-operated wares.

Here is Jim Stone time line and perspective on this:
SUSTAINED U.S. ATTACKS BY AMERICA HAVE BEGUN ON SYRIA. IT HAS BEEN MADE PERFECTLY CLEAR THE ATTACKS WILL BE SUSTAINED.

. . . . . .oh boy, here we go . . . . . Sleep in the basement I guess, this is the first time America has confronted a nation that is not weak.

This update is confirmed to not be a hoax, the info was 1 minute old when I got it, and the missiles had not even hit their targets yet.

    ------------------------------------

HERE IS A SHOCKER: SYRIANS CELEBRATING FAILED STRIKE

The reports on this are too early for details, other than they are definitely partying.

Evidently what we were getting through the American media was a lie.

    Maybe Russia did EXCELLENT.

    FACT:
    S
yrians are already having mass gatherings rejoicing at how the attack was repelled. Evidently the Russian missile systems did excellent and prevented a majority of American missiles from hitting their targets, as well as flustering war planes well enough to prevent them from having fully successful bombing runs. Time will tell, but for now Syrians are partying. That's really not what I expected to hear after the sun came up there. Only a full assessment will confirm whether or not the partying was justified.

    ------------------------------------

RUMOR: RUSSIAN AIR DEFENSES WERE NEAR 100 PERCENT EFFECTIVE

The reporting is in it's early stages, but I do know the lights were supposed to go out, and they did not.

It is now completely confirmed that Syrians are now partying, in celebration of the attack being a failure.

    UPDATE:
It is getting early confirmation. Now the claims are that the air defense systems were so effective that no major targets were hit by missiles and that the missile attack was for practical purposes fully neutralized. No generating stations, Assad's palace is fine, no significant targets hit.

Over 100 U.S. missiles launched, and no significant targets were hit. Russia is gloating over how well their missiles worked.

    ------------------------------------

It appears Russia was going to attack, and the U.S. was threatened into stopping the attack

This is probably the case. When this started, it was "going to be sustained, lasting days".

Then a large number of Russian planes took off, and suddenly America stopped attacking after only about an hour.

Here's what that adds up to:
A threat was made that a 7000 MPH hypersonic missile was going to go into the center of the U.S. fleet with a megaton warhead. This is pure speculation, but think about it -
How do you go from "we are going to attack in waves, for days" to "an hour into the battle let's call it quits"?

And it is now confirmed that the Russian missile systems knocked out virtually ALL American cruise missiles, resulting in a totally failed missile attack. A few planes dropped bombs and then went home, with nothing returning.

    I think America quit because:
    1. Russian defenses worked perfect, and America was watching it's missiles go POOF on computer screens before they reached their targets, and

    2. Russian war planes took off after the air defenses were very well proven, with confirmed destruction of practically all cruise missiles.

That alone would not stop an American attack, but if any planes were carrying nukes it sure would, if it was proven Russian air defenses would escort those planes to their targets unscathed.

    The big proof:
the "days long attack" lasted about an hour.

    SOMETHING HAPPENED.

    ------------------------------------

My initial conclusion last night, based on social media, was (mostly) correct

The only mistake is I thought S-400 missiles were used. Instead, S-200 and less expensive missiles were used.

There is a false claim that only 12 cruise missiles were hit. In fact, 12 cruise missiles were shot down defending ONE base, which equaled 100 percent of what was fired at it.

Sub sonic cruise missiles are obviously useless against Russia's missiles.

I am going to stick with my assessment that something big was going to happen that caused the U.S. to stop the attack.

All the cruise missiles could report their status to the launch site, and the U.S. was sitting there watching them vanish before they reached their targets.

"Reporting back" was early 90's tech, that the cruise missiles had even then. So it would have been ominous to watch them vanish, And then suddenly, Russian planes were in the air, preparing to attack.

That did happen, regardless of whatever any claims are. And within 20 minutes (before they reached their targets) it was suddenly announced that the attack which was supposed to last for days was suddenly over, after only about an hour.

Something big happened, and no one is saying what.

My guess is that Russia made the right threat.

Here is the next day report from RT:
"The majority of rockets fired in Syria by the UK, US, and France were intercepted by Syrian air defense systems, the Russian Defense Ministry said. Russian air defense units were not involved in repelling the attack. The warplanes and vessels of the US and its allies launched over 100 cruise missiles and air-surface missiles on Syrian civil and military facilities, the ministry stated.

"The strikes were conducted by two US ships stationed in the Red Sea, with tactical air support from the Mediterranean and Rockwell B-1 Lancer bombers from Al-Tanf coalition airbase in Syria's Homs province, according to the statement.

"Syrian Al-Dumayr Military Airport, located 40 km north-east from Damascus, was attacked by 12 cruise missiles, the Russian MoD confirmed, adding that all missiles were intercepted by Syrian air defense systems.

"To repel the attack, Damascus deployed Soviet-made surface-to-air missile systems, including S-125 (NATO reporting name: SA-3 Goa), S-200 (SA-5 Gammon), 2K12 Kub (SA-6 Gainful) and Buk.
Russia did not deploy its air defense systems located in Syria to intercept the American, British, and French missiles.

"Earlier, the ministry issued a statement saying that none of the missiles launched by the US and its allies reached the Russian air defense zones that shield facilities in the port city of Tartus and Khmeimim Air Base."

    ------------------------------------

MY SALIENT COMMENT THAT I HAVE MADE BEFORE:
Gee, if all those trillions did not go missing from the Pentagon on 911, trillions of dollars, which were hit by that "plane" that impacted right where the records were kept maybe old Russian tech would not have had such a high kill rate against American missiles, which would have been a LOT BETTER if those trillions stayed in the budget!
The U.S. military can talk all it wants about blowing or totally destroy weak nations away, and talk all about how great it is and how invincible it is, but if Russian tech even hit half the incoming missiles the U.S. military had better start thinking twice, and all the war hawks had better figure out where all that money went!

Syria hit 70 plus percent of America's "nice, new, "smart" missiles with 15+ years outdated Russian crap!

Syria did not even use anything "good, " and it was Syria, not Russia, that repelled the attack. That dear folks equals DOOM. You can't win if a relatively small economy nation who bought old Russian toys was able to repel you with no help from Russia, and partied the next day!

The bottom line is that unlike the gulf war, where America had real superiority, this time around America went against technology that happened to be "enough". All it takes is "enough", it really does not matter if your missiles have 128 bit tech when 16 bit is "enough". The game has changed.

What about the "off world" connection we peons would know nothing about?!
This is only my opinion, of course, but I think we ( 21st century humans ) are the last of this model. The new model is already among us, to some extent.

    We are now the neanderthals.

All this ding-dong of war and power struggles is about the ruling elite getting the best deal they can out of this unstoppable change imposed from even above themselves.

They know it's happening, and have driven a wedge between themselves and the rest of us. We are dividing into 2 distinct groups. Those that will serve the neanderthal elite in their bid to survive the upgrade, and those that will not.

I know which group I'm in.

My inner self is far more comfortable with the idea of letting the multiple lifetimes dynamic take care of that issue. I only experience fear, when I try to hang on to this sick world that's falling apart around us.

For the record, rightly or wrongly, I regard Russia's president Putin as the single most honourable world statesman there is right now, by miles. I don't believe Russia poisoned anyone in Salisbury and I don't believe Assad gas bombed anyone in Syria last week either.

to escalate. He was asked about Alex's meltdown to which he answered he would
not comment as he works with him. Dr.Corsi gets a bit wound up as it goes along

This still seems bizarre to me and why would Assad use them now while he is

France: Syria strikes' aim met, more possible if red line crossed

    * Strikes aimed at Syria's chemical weapons arsenal

    * Strikes contained, legitimate, says France

    * Cruise missiles used in coordination with Britain, U.S.

By Jean-Baptiste Vey, Marine Pennetier and Matthias Blamont

PARIS, April 14 (Reuters) - France said on Saturday (Shenzhen: 002291.SZ - news) it would not hesitate to strike Syrian government targets again if the chemical red line was crossed, but that no new strikes were planned at this stage, adding that it would renew a push for peace through dialogue with Russia.

President Emmanuel Macron ordered the military intervention in Syria alongside the United States and Britain in response to a poison gas attack that killed dozens of people last week.

"Our objectives were met," Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian told BFM TV.

If the red line banning the use of chemical weapons was crossed again, there would be another intervention, he said, while adding: "I think the lesson will have been learnt."

The French strikes, involving 12 cruise missiles, fighter jets and warships, were Macron's first major military decision since taking office a year ago and was all but inevitable after the young president repeatedly said France would strike if a fatal chemical attack took place in Syria.

"This action was proportionate and targeted, it was not aimed at (Syrian President Bashar al) Assad's allies nor at the civilian population," Le Drian said in a televised statement.

Le Drian said France, which has backed opponents of Assad throughout the civil war, would swiftly take new political initiatives to find a solution to the crisis.

He added that Paris would work with all countries and that there were no changes to Macron's planned trip to Russia next month.

While there had been general public warnings broadcast by U.S. President Donald Trump, Macron himself and other Western leaders, a French presidency source said Macron did not tell Russian President Vladimir Putin the allies would strike overnight when they talked over the phone on Friday.

However, regular "deconfliction" contacts were made with the Russian military once the operation had been kicked off to make sure that they would not be accidentally hit, the source said.

Defence Minister Florence Parly said this meant Russia had been "warned beforehand" to avoid any confrontation or escalation.

The French presidency issued a video on Twitter (Frankfurt: A1W6XZ - news) showing what it said were war planes taking off as part of the intervention.

Macron said in a written statement that the attack had been limited to Syria's chemical weapons facilities and said the facts and the responsibility of the Syrian regime were beyond doubt.

Backing up its reasons for the air strikes, the foreign ministry released an intelligence report based largely on open sources which concluded that there was no other plausible explanation than a chemical attacked coordinated by the Syrian military.

The report said that for now France did not have chemical samples from the attack site analysed by its own laboratories yet.

Macron, who tweeted a picture of himself in a meeting room with military and diplomatic advisers, has not made any address to the nation. He is due to be interviewed by three French media on Sunday night.

The French air force has been active in Syria since 2015 to fight Islamic State, but had not targeted government targets until now. (Additional reporting by Geert De Clercq and John Irish; Writing by Ingrid Melander; Editing by John Irish)

The good news after all the hype is that only this strike is planned for now
and even if the chemical team goes in and declares that there is no evidence
it happened or if it did who by ? the damage is done and the warning marker
put down that it can be repeated after the next false flag attack.

This was still a great payday for the mil ind complex as 105 missiles were used
to destroy three buildings that cost the US/UK/France millions $/£/Euros in
ordnance , fuel, material and manpower and after it all we are still none the
wiser who is telling the truth , though we are expected to believe Assad is a cad,
bad and stark raving mad. I don't see it.

Sadly humans know the art of warfare so well. We still have a lot to learn.

There have been a number of comments about how easily the Syrians/Russians have been able to intercept missiles.

Does anyone remember this post Bill once made about the Russian Chelyabinsk Meteor of Feb 2013?

What Bill said at the time particularly struck a chord with me:

"If the Russians really do have the technology to do this, the Americans should be worried. It would mean they can take down any satellite, missile or advanced aircraft they want to, at any time they choose."

    and

"Confession: When I saw this post I thought: "Nonsense. No way could the Russians shoot down a small object traveling at 33,000 mph."

The original YouTube video has since been removed, but here is an equivalent:

I think Bill was right, something clearly can be seen intercepting the meteor - evidence of an extremely advanced Russian military capability perhaps?

No they sent 105 missiles to destroy 3 targets at the cost of millions $/£/euros to

Russia is considering selling the Syrian army the S 300 a far better system

A post from the 'Q; anon thread....

Dr.Corsi confirms from his analysis that this is a one off and says the US had intel
that Assad had these chemical research and development plants. ( Which beggers
the question if they knew these sites were there after Syria was signed off on
having any chemical stocks left, why has it took so long to take them out ? ) Also it
did not matter to Trump whether the chemical attack in Douma was real or not ,
and he wanted to use this to show he is not beholden to Putin and has a thing about
    chemical weapons.....

I agree by the reaction of Putin and Trump this is over for now , but I am not
convinced this is not a false flag as Assad would be stupid to do it especially now
similar to Russia doing the Salisbury attack with events going in their favour. But to
fire 105 missiles at 3 relatively small sites , logically suggests they were firing at
something more than empty buildings. Something still feel odd/missing with both
the attacks in Douma & Salisbury and the UK intel through the White helmets
and being only 8 miles from Porton Down seems more than just coincidence Uhm!

Dr.Corsi then goes onto other topics and points out he is interpreting 'Q' as he
sees it from his personal experience but will listen to others views as well and
this is all part of the counter attack....

    ********

Be great if we could get confirmation of this Herve.

If the US military had planned for a bigger attack, there's little doubt that it would have been derailed by the events that unfolded at the time since ...
    1. About 70 of the 100 missiles fired at Syria were destroyed by old (but upgraded) Soviet technology provided to the Syrian Air Defense by the Russians. The US military brass would have been watching as 7 out of every 10 of their missiles disappeared one after the other off their screens. This would surely have been unexpected and would have forced them to re-evaluate any further action.
    2. Since the Russians had warned the US that they reserved the right to take out the "launch sites" of any missiles fired at Syria, which in this case was two US destroyers, and since the Russians did in fact scramble their fighters the moment the attack began, the US military would have immediately put on ice any further action (if that was their plan).

So, we may have been luckier than we think and more Syrian lives may have been spared as a result.
Our destiny is in our hands. Let us visualise a world of truth, freedom and equality.

Locked and loaded and ready to fire...under the caveat that Assad should use chemical weapons again. Yet, in the same paragraph, they also state how their airstrikes have set Assad’s ability to make chemical weapons back “For years”, thereby negating their own pretext and justifications for sending in further strikes.

Quote Addressing the Security Council last night, Ms Haley said: “[Mr Trump] said if the Syrian regime uses this poison gas again, the United States is locked and loaded. When our president draws a red line, our president enforces the red line.” Mr Trump had earlier said the Syrian strikes had been “perfectly executed”.

Ms Haley’s warning came after the Pentagon said the strikes would set back Syria’s chemical weapons programme “for years”.
I’d say it’s pretty easy to tell what’s true and what’s not, just follow your nose, there’s no mistaking the rancid BS that the western propoganda machine continues to spurts out—as it’s completely devoid of logic, evidence, proof or reason.

The Western powers are just looking more and more impotent with every false flag and staged chemical attack they create. People are waking up in record numbers, I’m amazed at all the great conversations I’ve had recently with non-conspiratorially minded folk. People who would normally scoff at any mention of geopolitics—while regurgitating the mainstream media talking points I.e. “Assad is an animal, we need to bomb him”—are now actually admitting to themselves “actually, yeah, it’s our own governments who are the animals, our politicians are completely insane and out of control”.

The Western governments are rapidly losing the support of the people—and they know it—which is one of the main reasons they know they’ll never win (or risk) a full out war with Russia. Too many defectors and not enough ‘useful idiots’ to pull the trigger. Not as if that will deter them from continuing to make trouble or being a nuisance on the global stage, but the tide has definitely turned against them, which will hopefully put pressure on them to reign it in and focus on some domestic issues for a while.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Western powers regroup and spin the narrative, see what other contrived BS they can come up with to justify their illegal presence in the Middle East. They certainly get angsty when they don’t have innocent people to bomb or external threats to their hegemony to demonise.

I'm still wondering if maybe it was the CIA "bases" that were taken out. World & exopolitics are so complicated by this time it is not possible to get any "simple" answers that we would understand. (IMHO) Maybe we were actually helping Syria get rid of some negative forces & this public narrative is only a cover.

For 70 years our involvement in space has been kept from the public. How could they come out & say "We're actually fighting the 'others'. "? The fact that 3 nations were involved in this is major, IMHO. We're all in this for the ride, whether we like it or not! Because of all I have learned on Avalon in the past 2 1/2 years, I know that sometimes things are not what they seem to be.
