Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania block EU condemnation of Jerusalem embassy

It's becoming increasingly clear that the US's real allies in Europe today are not the UK, France, or Germany, but rather the nations of Eastern Europe, particularly Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, and perhaps even the new right-wing governments of Austria and Italy.

Hungaray, the Czech Republic and Romania foiled an attempt by the EU to condemn President Trump’s decision to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem.

The European leaders were hoping to send a strong message to Trump.

Meanwhile, attacks on Jewish citizens continue to climb as the continent imports more and more third world migrants.

Viktor Orbán’s Hungary, supported by the Czech Republic and Romania, blocked an EU motion condemning President Donald Trump’s decision to move the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, according to Israeli news anchor Barak Ravid.

Israeli officials and European diplomats told the Channel 10 News journalist that the three countries — part of the Visegrad group of conservative, pro-sovereignty countries within the European Union — blocked the joint statement led by Emmanuel Macron’s France, which was supposed to “embarrass and isolate” the Trump administration internationally.

This is especially ironic since George Soros has led campaigns smearing Hungary as anti-Semitic for standing up to his open borders nonsense.


In other news, Poland cancelled a deal with France for helicopters, and is now purchasing US-made Black Hawk helicopters and other military equipment.

But there's certainly no realignment of alliances here folks. Nope, nothing to see here. Macron and Trump are like best friends! Move along!

That's what the religious ideologues in the Middle East are probably thinking to themselves. For the Trump administration I think it was a purely political move. I don't know what kind of negotiation or reasoning there was for it, but it definitely has accelerated the time table on the eternal fight for Jerusalem over there. Even Turkey has been calling for all of Islam to declare war on Israel.

You're right, but that's why I also mentioned that the US is selling Black Hawk helicopters to Poland now, after Poland cancelled a multi-billion dollar contract with a French helicopter manufacturer. So think about the kind of messaging that is going on internationally here.

Countries of both eastern and western Europe belong to NATO, so if the European Union forms its own army or international enforcement of some kind, like it says it wants to, and then declares legal supremacy over eastern nations and physically forces Poland, Hungary and other nations to accept migrants, it's going to be one big international legal mess. Forcing those policies upon a nation that overwhelmingly rejects them would just be asking for mass violence.

Maybe that's the plan -(saving Israel for last) let the Islamic countries take care of Israel. Perhaps bring them to their knees so they finally let the Palestinians live in peace.

I know there are many Israeli's who really want this, it's just the usual suspects who keep the war mongering going.

I don't think it's far-fetched at all. It's exactly what I would expect if we were truly "saving Israel for last." A lot of background info has to drop publicly like has been ongoing with the FBI and other things already. 9/11 is going to come back up too, and already has been. Until the public gets deep into that, it's too much of a taboo subject. Many older conservatives are diehard supporters of Israel simply because of the Scofield Bible, not to mention the MSM has been calling Trump "literally Hitler" since he launched his campaign, so anything other than a very nuanced approach to the Israeli problem would of course be portrayed in that context.

The good news is that the Zionist wing of Israel politics absolutely hates the George Soros brand of politics, so Israel itself being so politically divided provides very nice opportunities for applying political leverage to them. I have a feeling that without Trump's support Netanyahu would be out of power by now, if not in prison, he's just barely skated by so many times. The US recognizing Jerusalem as the capital may have played into his political survival, as it tremendously boosted his popularity at home. So he owes Trump for that.

I moved to Ireland a couple of years after the Good Friday agreement was signed. At that time, parts of Northern Ireland still looked like Israel-Palestine today. There were fortified police stations, soldiers with machine guns everywhere, armoured vehicles patrolling, massive walls and watchtowers separating communities, curfews, lots of random sectarian violence and a memory of decades of terrorism and war. It seemed impossible at the time that real peace was just around the corner. In just a few short years, as a result of this agreement, peace was restored and the place started booming. Even game of thrones is basically based there.

There are many lessons to be learnt from this, but here are the primary ones. Keep in mind that in this drama, the Catholics played the role of the Muslim Palestinians, wheres the Protestant settlers were just like the Israeli Jewish settlers, supported of course by the British Army / the IDF respectively.

- you can't treat one group of citizens as second class, over the other group. This just leads to further resentment and violence.
- walls just create more violence, they are the symptom of a problem, not the solution to it. Once the underlying issue is solved, walls are no longer necessary.
- you have to talk to terrorists. Then, when you come to a peace settlement, you must allow them to be part of the government, ergo there has to be power-sharing. This is incredibly difficult, but unavoidable.
- partition doesn't work. You must find a one-state solution where all parties can learn to live together and share power proportionally.
- the central state cannot starve the minority-populated parts of funds. Revenues must be distributed equally or violence and rioting will follow.
- you cannot demonise your enemy. You must accept that despite your differences, they are people as well and in the end they want a normal life and a peaceful existence. Terrorism is forced upon people by injustice and ill-treatment, at least most of the time.
