Default George Orwell's 1984 had nothing over 2018

I was surprised to hear that George wrote 1984 as a parody...

Imagine if George Orwell was alive today to see how close his book came to real?

Well we all knew it was happening. Our forefathers fought and bled for our freedoms today which we give away so easily to the Patriot ACT, FISA abuse, NSA, ETC...

Surprise? That makes perfect sense. There is reliable evidence that Eric Blair, a/k/a George Orwell, was one of "them." He was writing for his and "their" amusement. But also, often times, what is written is not amusement or prophecy in any way. Rather, it is general or specific specifications, blueprints, instructions, game plans and programs. To be understood at future dates by the adept and to then be carried out by them. And so on, generation after generation .....

Interesting that Orwell (apparently) wrote it in 1948 & that was going to be the original title - changed to 1984... "apparently" (published in 1949)

Ironically, the National Security Council was founded, along with CIA and MJ-12 the previous year - and of course, Roswell "happened". (1947). (50% of CIA is composed of ex-Nazi SS Intelligence personnel under Paperclip), and Operation Highjump initiated by US Navy.

1948 is the same year that the value of television as a mass control medium is fully realised.

    "Coincidences"?...

The tyranny of today, as opposed to Orwell’s description, is little more subtle. Though, that may amount to being more pernicious than his overt idea of tyranny.
The psychological tyranny of brainwashing and conditioning makes it so they don’t, as of yet, need to put us in camps, since we're in camps of the mind already.

Yep. Don't need prisons, walls and guards per se, when we've allowed ourselves to be imprisoned in our minds. As such we fail to take appropriate action, thinking we are free, when we are imprisoned by virtually imperceptible shackles. But the shackles can be seen if one looks and is aware.

    From 1984...

“If both the past and the external world exist only in the mind, and if the mind itself is controllable - what then?”

“Power is in tearing human minds to pieces and putting them together again in new shapes of your own choosing.”

“It was curious to think that the sky was the same for everybody, in Eurasia or Eastasia as well as here. And the people under the sky were also very much the same--everywhere, all over the world, hundreds or thousands of millions of people just like this, people ignorant of one another's existence, held apart by walls of hatred and lies, and yet almost exactly the same--people who had never learned to think but were storing up in their hearts and bellies and muscles the power that would one day overturn the world.”

“If you can feel that staying human is worth while, even when it can't have any result whatever, you've beaten them.”
Never give up on your silly, silly dreams.

You mustn't be afraid to dream a little BIGGER, darling.

Fabian, isn't he? They were pretty directly influential until around the time of 1984's publishing. I suppose past that point they were mostly co-opted by the kinds of things we have today. Like a re-arrangement of strings on the same puppet.

Somewhere in there he says something about a man will keep his every last opinion to himself since he knows no one will want to hear it. To me, that looks like a big switch that flipped on 9/11.

I thought it would serve as a lesson to make a parody out of any real Big Brother by rejecting it as obvious garbage, but, I guess, not many "got it" and I am not supposed to go around saying what I think about this. It is hard to be specific, but, I am pretty sure in the long run, the power structure passed through Fabians and these others is not going to work out. Even if it has, largely, worked, it will go away or at least be reduced.

Both George Orwell (Eric Blair) and Aldous Huxley were members of the Fabian Society.

Orwell’s 1984 no longer reads like fiction. It’s the reality of our times

Interview with David Icke by Jeff Rense, they discuss Orwell and Icke has some interesting things to say--
"If the media will show us airplanes disappearing into towers on 9/11--they'll show us ANYTHING and expect us to believe it."

Just because someone is a member of a group/secret society doesn't mean they believe or agree with them on everything. Look at Prof. Carroll Quigley of Georgetown University. He was a member of the elite, wrote the infamous book Tragedy & Hope, yet he did not agree with the elite on one very important point. Though he believed in a World Order/Management Group, he did not believe it should be kept secret from the people. Here they differed. He became the historian for these elite, even though he had to make a deal that he would not write about the Rockefellers in his big book (which makes it an extremely flawed account), never-the-less write he did and expose many of their machinations.

Mr. Blair (Orwell) wrote 1984 (which he wanted to call 1948), in it he has his main character Winston Smith reading Emmanuel Goldstein's book "The Theory and Practice of Oligarchical Collectivism" which reveals exactly what has been going on in the world since the turn of the 20th century and continues. (The cartoon in a post above contains the essential text of the elite's rationale and plan.) So Orwell may have been a member, but he sent out a warning message, to those, so inclined, could decipher the madness around them and know why. It may be the next best thing to being completely free from this destructive plan. It will help some map out a better way to live, to be in the system, but not of it.
