Bill, when the dust has settled here (or at least starts to settle - it could take months!), could you please find time to make a podcast explaining what has lead up to this fiasco, what it might mean to the study of the SSP, UFOs and the adjoining subjects, a bit about the personalities/organizations involved and the lessons learnt?

I haven't been a fan of DW since he made the hysterical crying (publicity stunt?) podcast with Kerry Cassidy...

Thanks, Nick... yes, that might well be a good idea, and useful, too. There are a lot of people who'd value a concise, accurate summary, and even for those genuinely interested people (like welcome new member Luke Holiday, who posted earlier sharing how confused he was) it's REALLY hard to plow through the very long threads and extract the important, core facts.

The reality about all of this is that both parties, the rebel DW, and the establishment new age conglomerate Gaia will both come out fine.
If you recall a few years ago one of the fraudulent evangelical healers was caught red-handed with getting aid, not from God but a radio earpiece with his wife at the other end sending God’s messages to him, as he “healed” the sick. This was a big scandal at the time, but of course, lo and behold he’s back on TV up to his old tricks

I call this the pie theory

ANYONE espousing damn near anything in our age can get a following, a slice of the pie, or even a big piece of the pie with a huge following as many cult leaders have done and are still doing.
Gaia will go on making their money and DW and his sidekick will get a fair amount of credulous believers in their game.

Here's Patty Greer telling Randy Maugans, in August 2017, about the rough treatement she's received from GAIA.

And rough it is, too. She signed a 10 years excusive distribution contract with them and as soon as they'd made back the money they gave her as an up front payment, they dropped her and delisted her crop circle films.

You put it all in a nutshell very succinctly. Our problem is that any kind of alt experience or truth is mocked by the truly guilty ones, the MSM and they’re entertainment empire ( while the world burns).

They will take advantage of ridiculous nonsense like DW and label all alt info bad and point to people like DW and CG.

Some of that is just natural or unnatural human foibles or worse, sinister and disturbed people taking advantage of the situation to make a financial or ego personal gain. But some is direct misinformation to hide legitimate researchers like Bill Ryan, Richard Dolan, Stanley Freidman, and many other serious alternative view researchers, who toil and sacrifice to get some truth for the common good, not for their personal gain.

And this is a sacrifice; many of these people have given up their mainstream success because they know the reality of some hidden truths that impact significantly on all our lives.

Also, it must be said, there are great and legit researchers who do make a living on some of this information, that in itself is fine, as long as they remain loyal to the truth and facts, not nonsense.

Sorry John for these thefts. But in America and pretty much throughout the world it is the way it works.

Creators are being stolen from the left, the right, the top and bottom, name it. In all the imaginable fields. My writings have been stolen time and again in trainig fields, my dad’s inventions for cranes were stolen by mega companies, my sister’s ideas and product names in nutrition were stolen by General Mills 30 years ago, name it, it was stolen at one point, with no remorse.

I have absolutely no pity nor any healthy consideration for such people.
