I was just watching the press conference with May and Trump with my sons. I don't think they understood why I was laughing hysterically. I just found the juxtaposition of the two of them wildly amusing. Someone must have told Trump to start talking in more general terms. He used to be so specific, but now he is so vague that he says almost nothing. He must have taken some lessons from American public school superintendents. I haven't watched him speak at any length since he bombed Syria in April 2017, because I stopped taking him seriously after that.

Anyway, the press conference was a perfect illustration of the differences between the two cultures. The way he talked about the dinner and how he was embarrassed for everyone else at the table because he and Theresa May were spending so much time chatting. The way she would kind of nod at him every time he looked over at her like he expected a response. All of it was just superb posturing.
There's no time like the present.

I thought they were 'channelling' Ronnie and Maggie and Trump though brash and uncouth
at times is growing into the job and if he can get results in North Korea , Middle East ,
Russia and at home maybe the current polarization of you either love him or hate him,
hopefully will mellow or at least not get worse , only time will tell.....

I think we have to keep reminding ourselves that we do not even understand the Complete Picture because we have no idea what all the pieces of the puzzle are! There are "silent" players in this global maneuvering that most are not aware of.

Reading Dr. John Coleman's book about The Committee of 300 gives one a little wider picture of some aspects of this worldwide control mechanism that has been set in place for centuries. Apparently, there is a Shadow Gov't behind ALL countries trying to steer world events towards a fixed "goal" of their making.

At this point in time they have a problem because there has been a worldwide "waking up" of many who are beginning to realize that there has been a Hidden Hand in all that has been playing out. It seems there always has to be the Public Theater which must be carried out. We have to look below the surface happenings!

Justine Greening on Brexit: MP calls for second referendum as Theresa May faces fresh showdown with Tory rebels

The former education secretary wrote in The Times: "The only solution is to take the final Brexit decision out of the hands of deadlocked politicians, away from the backroom deals, and give it back to the people."

'This deal is a fudge I can’t support', says former education secretary

Ex-cabinet minister Justine Greening has become the first senior Tory to endorse a second Brexit referendum, in a major intervention where she branded Theresa May's Brexit plan the "worst of both worlds".
The former education secretary said Ms May's Chequer's proposals for a common rule book with the EU were a "fudge" and indicated that other senior Conservatives privately supported her calls for a fresh vote.

Im slightly sorry for Teresa May.
My way or no way, is going no where.
    On a hiding to nothing.
She looks absolutely stressed out .
Also being a diabetic no help to her.
She probably did the best she could--considering the possible Ireland border situation.
A realiistic but unpopular thing would be to say to Southern Ireland.
You come with us out of Europe--noborder necessary.
You stay, then a border necessary.
There are borders all over the world-- a big deal for Ireland as they are now used to free movement.
Europe and UK fairly border less but if we leave, then there will be a border for UK.

The end result looks fairly inevitable.
We are staying in the Common Market--no change.
Months talking about a non event.

If it goes to another referendum the voters will probably vote stay.
Better the devil you know so to speak.
They were miss informed in the first place.

I'm still hanging on for a crash out.

People ask why the exit crew in the Tory party have not made a move. It might be because they are ready to stand in when Theresa falls on her sword ( deliberately ).

Wishful thinking, I know. I just want OUT, by any means at all.

    Whats happening now?

Thirty Government Ministers are touring the country trying to convince the population that its a good deal.
The public dont get to vote on the deal.

    However

If Parliament votes against the deal, which it surely will, then Teresa May could go for another referendum, which she would hope would bring a "leave" vote.
This would justify her stance and probably lead to an exit without a deal.
I can see no other reason for trying to convince the public.

Thats my assumption of the moment--smiling.

I remember Theresa being very much pro Europe, but it appears she changed her view over time.....

Theresa May on Brexit: Then and now

    18 January 2017

Theresa May has said the UK will emerge from Brexit as a "great, global trading nation", becoming "safer, more secure and more prosperous".

But in April 2016 - before the EU referendum - the then home secretary gave a speech warning of the implications of a vote to leave the EU. Here's how some of the key quotes compare:

The thing is when David Cameron did a runner after initiating the referendum and getting the leave vote.
Teresa May being voted into the Prime Minister position had no option but to promote leaving-- "The Peoples Decision"
Her first major mistake was to go for a general election where the conservatives lost a good working majority.
It might have been a quite different story if she hadnt lost that majority.
