Default LINDA MOULTON HOWE interview Dan Eugene Willis

    Posted 14th July 2014

“Dan Eugene Willis joined the United States Navy on February 9th, 1968. He was 19 years old, his father had been a career marine during World War two and the Korean War. Dan Willis was assigned to the naval communications station in San Francisco as a high-speed code and teletype operator. He ended up in charge of the code room with a top-secret crypto level 14 clearance with extra sensitive materials and in 1968 to 69 Navcom in San Francisco was the busiest military command facility in the world.

While on watch one day he heard a ship calling the station with an incoming secret priority message from the coast of Alaska. It was addressed to the Chief of Naval Operations in Washington DC and as he decoded the message Dan was astounded to read that the naval crew visually witnessed off the port bow of their ship quote “a brightly glowing reddish orange elliptical unidentified
object approximately 70 feet in diameter it emerged out of the ocean and immediately shot straight up into space”…..
