Johnny Depp´s Notorious B.I.G. Movie City of Lies pulled a month before Release

City of Lies, the crime thriller starring Johnny Depp as LAPD Detective Russell Poole investigating the murders of The Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur, has been pulled from distributor Global Road's schedule a month prior to releasing in theaters.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, the film was set to release in North America on September 7, but no new date has been set for the film. No word on if this means the film is simply getting a new release window, if it will be moved to streaming services, or if it won't receive a release entirely. There is similarly no word on why the film is being pulled in the first place.
The film, based on the book LAbyrinth by Randall Sullivan, also stars Forest Whitaker as a journalist that teams up with Poole to discover the truth of the murders. The film was directed by Brad Furman, who worked on The Lincoln Lawyer and The Infiltrator.

I feel always some connection with Tupac and the movie was scheduled for my Birthday

I have seen the trailer with some big stars, so it's very weird they just pulled the movie. Looks like a good movie and I really want to see it.



Based on that book : Labyrinth.
Know about the "Labyrinth Delta" groups. They want to keep hiding in the dark and they don't want us to shine a light on them...

They show us all in the movies, especially lately.

Though I can imagine there r people who don't like this movie to be seen by people all over the world.

if my read sources are correct no film made by hollywood could possibly be financed unless it is endorssed by the banksters re: their agendas; who are deeply into social engeneering of the general public-

as I'm not an insider I can only speculate:

if this film was yanked at the 11th hr. it obviously contained too much truth and the producer will be marginalized (like start with film being censored)-
